Got an unbelievably nasty call from a "Mrs. Taylor" at this number. When I wasted no time asking who she was and what this was about, since my number is on the DO NOT CALL list for both my state and national, she began screaming, "Listen, I don't know why YOU'RE so upset! You owe a co-pay to [xyz hospital] an I'm going to....." I cut her off. I told her I don't believe that this hospital would hire someone like her, and asked for the hospital's billing department number. She actually refused to give it to me, and screamed, "If you want it, you'll have to..." Needless to say I hung up and googled the number. Seems like this "agency" is up to tricks all around. I'm filing a report with the Consumer Protection Agency. It's a legitimate government agency, and believe me, they get action.

Accounts Receivable Management is a collection agency that has been in business since 1975. Accounts Receivable Management is headquartered in Thorofare, New Jersey, and has offices in Louisville, Kentucky, and Midland, Georgia. Accounts Receivable Management collects on debt originally owed to credit card companies, retail stores, hospitals, auto finance companies, and student loan companies.

According to its Web site, Accounts Receivable Management’s “commitment to service and excellence is second to none.” However, according to its track record, Accounts Receivable Management’s collection activities shed a much different light when analyzed under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. The FDCPA has been around for almost 35 years. The FDCPA is a federal law that applies to every state. In other words, everyone is protected by the FDCPA. The FDCPA is essentially a laundry list of what debt collects can and cannot do while collecting a debt, as well as things debt collectors must do while collecting a debt.

According to the Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER), Accounts Receivable Management has been sued over 100 times in the last 3 years for debt collection harassment. It does not get any better for Accounts Receivable Management on the Better Business Bureau. The Better Business Bureau has processed over 70 billing/collection issues, and over 85 total complaints, regarding Accounts Receivable Management in the last three years.

Accounts Receivable Management has several telephone numbers it places debt collection calls from.
