Accounts Receivable Management is a collection agency that has been in business since 1975. Accounts Receivable Management is headquartered in Thorofare, New Jersey, and has offices in Louisville, Kentucky, and Midland, Georgia. Accounts Receivable Management collects on debt originally owed to credit card companies, retail stores, hospitals, auto finance companies, and student loan companies.

According to its Web site, Accounts Receivable Management’s “commitment to service and excellence is second to none.” However, according to its track record, Accounts Receivable Management’s collection activities shed a much different light when analyzed under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. The FDCPA has been around for almost 35 years. The FDCPA is a federal law that applies to every state. In other words, everyone is protected by the FDCPA. The FDCPA is essentially a laundry list of what debt collects can and cannot do while collecting a debt, as well as things debt collectors must do while collecting a debt.

According to the Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER), Accounts Receivable Management has been sued over 100 times in the last 3 years for debt collection harassment. It does not get any better for Accounts Receivable Management on the Better Business Bureau. The Better Business Bureau has processed over 70 billing/collection issues, and over 85 total complaints, regarding Accounts Receivable Management in the last three years.

Accounts Receivable Management has several telephone numbers it places debt collection calls from. They keep calling my house then yelling at me, calling me ignorant, then telling me I am in trouble for not paying a debt although I have never had any debts in my life. I reported them to numerous agencies both in WA. and MN.

They have another number - 952-259-1101

After reading all these responses I can't believe any of you really think this is a legit company. IT'S NOT A COMPANY, ITS A RING OF SCAMMERS! My neighbor works for the Bureau of Investigations and she is now fully aware of not only this thread but also all their info. These jerks are going down hard. They called me apartment 3 weeks ago asking for someone that I had never heard of, i told them that but they kept asking me weird questions. I asked the guy if i could please speak to his supervisor, he hung up. I called the number back but they answered the phone

they also use the numbers 202-607-2748, 202-607-2731, 952-259-1101, also the number will appear on the caller ID as 011-860-3318050, 011-860-9673143, 011-860-3318050, 1-877-458-1070. the amazing thing about this company is that they call ask for someone else and then want you to ID yourself. They just called and asked (not disrespect intented) for a name theat sounded indian. However, I have an common english name that is HARD to misprounce, when I said there is no one here by that name I hung up. They called right back (before my hand was off the receiver) and asked for another name. They don't give upand I don't even know who they are looking for or what they want.

BCR called me 12 times from 2 numbers 800-831-7311 for the first and last calls, 952-259-1101 for the rest of the calls) between 12-1-09 and 3-31-10. After a flurry of calls in 12/09 and 1/10, they averaged one call every 2 weeks. They never left a message on my answering machine so I don’t know who they were looking for.

Whenever I have a caller ask to speak to the 'man of the house' (or some variation) I always say 'This IS the man of the house. Would you like to see my…(I think you get the point).' Of course, they hang up. They don’t call back either.

We don't owe any money to debt collectors, so why would they still be calling us? And it's a constant calling also. Each time we answer, they hang up. I can see my dad's ex-wife using his SS# for something since she's done it in the past, but nothings ever came up about us being in debt with anyone or anything.

They are calling someone who has the same name as my daughter. Each time they call I tell them they have the wrong one (verified by birthdate) and they quit for awhile until it gets passed to the next person. any way to stop this?!!!
