This is just a follow up survey from Verizon after you called for customer service - you get them every time you call Verizon just to see how they did so everyone relax - it is not a scam, a hacked number, or a telemarketer - not every 800 number is phony!
On my version cell phone, call coming thru, never seen this number.. Hang up & do not leave a message.. Check phone number & see a message above & what happened to them happened to me...
Hope it is just a one time call.. Other wise need to take of this first hand because they becoming the must annoying & repetitive calls.

I am sitting on hold with Verizon for a service issue, and during the call, this call pops up. I didn't answer it. Reading the posts here, it's funny that they are calling for a service survey DURING a service call.

It is a 3rd party contracted by Verizon to do a survey. I just had spoken to Verizon about some issues and about an hour later I received the call stating to call 866-274-0089
. I called and took the survey and it took under 2 minutes. The only reason I took the survey was because Tammy (verizon rep.) was VERY helpful in resolving the problems I had and Verizon needed to know that they had a VERY GOOD employee who is courteous and professional.
Got this call right after hanging up with Verizon for a question. This number is a customer survey. I thought I was opted out of those.
they called at 6 am and 6:45 am. why are they calling at that time for a survey? and in this day and age with all of the phishing and hacking why are they randomly calling and not leaving any messages. this is terrible customer service. especially since my Verizon account was hacked in December!
This is another Verizon hacked number. It used to be Verizon but it has been hacked, along with other Verizon customer numbers. Just do NOT answer numbers you don't recognize.
this is a survey call to see how things went with a support call. at least this was in my case.

Verizon Wireless Customer Survey
It's okay it was a survey from Verizon after I had called customer service. They just wanted to ask me how my experience was. Which was actually great for once by the way. Lol
It claims to be Verizon WIreless about my call with them earlier today only... I haven't talked to verizon customer service since September last year. They've called 2 days in a row. First time no voicemail.
I do not answer unidentified phone numbers.

called WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH VERIZON
Voice mail that was left indicated this was an automated survey from Verizon Wireless regarding a customer support call that I had concluded minutes earlier. I got two such calls this one, which was captured on my voice mail and one before that from 949-286-3973
which, based on other call identifying web sites, was also from Verizon Wireless. I had made two calls to Verizon Wireless a short time earlier so its a guess that their system generates survey calls for each service call one makes. Verizon, if you are listening, it would be worth your while to ask your customers while they are on a service call if they would like to receive a survey followup call to give them a chance to opt out.
These assholes are very annoying with these stupid phone calls.
Verizon wireless follow up survey.
Called me twice so far. Left no message, I don't trust numbers I don't recognize. Called Verizon to have them check and was told this was the second complaint today and they will look into it.
Caller ID on my cell diaplays number....thought its a bill collector, so I didn't answer....I have Verizon....no vm left....thanks so I'll answer next time...NP doing g their surveys, lol
It is Verizon Wireless. Its an automated system that calls when you have finished talking w CS. You cant call back an automated number that is why its stated its disconnected. Don't be annoyed just remember it a brief survey call after Verizon CS, it has less than 10 questions. Give them feedback on your help! Harmless
I just finished a lengthy conversation with a Verizon representative and this number called me right away. So I googled it and found this post as I never answer unknown numbers. I believe it's probably just a harmless survey of the service I just received on the phone.
Irvine, CA caller, 45 min after my call with Verizon Wireless Customer Service I received this call.
Well information that I have looked up says this number is from Irvine, Ca. But on my phone ot said Oklahoma. Information that I read also said that it was Verizon Wireless Survey which does not surprise me because they have been call ing me lately from all different numbers, even cell hone numbers because I do not take their surveys. It gets kind of annoying. lol, they just called while I was writing this and I answered but im hard of hearing and they hung up. This time my phone identified it as comming from Irvine, Ca. So it is Verizon Wireless. End of story.
I just used Customer Service at VZ to swap phones. Within 5 minutes this number called, which I promptly ignored. I guess I'll call them back because the folks I spoke to at VZ-CS were champs!
This is from Verizon wireless wanting feedback from a call you made to them. If you call back that direct number it doesn't work. If you want to give feedback (especially to keep them from calling) call them at 866-274-0089
KEEPS CALLING MY CELL PHONE! PLEASE REPORT THEM!
Mystery solved! I got a call this morning from above #, I waited 5 minutes, blocked my # and called back. It was Verizon Wireless. That all made sense because I was on the phone earlier today with them. This # is the number that appears when Verizon calls you back for an automated customer survey. They just wanted to know if I was pleased with my exchange.
STOP CALLING ME! This company is relentless. What good is the do not call list if they continue to call?
I WANT THIS NUMBER REPORTED.
Verizon bullshit in response to being unable to correct my phone service. Eastern Indian in tech help was not understandable. Then
began a series of odd dead end phone calls from all over the country.

If it is Verizon, then why do I get "This number has been disconnected or no longer in service" when I call it back. I don't like that. It's too fishy when you can't call back.
Received 2 calls in less than and hour. No message left.
this call is from Verizion wireless customer service survey
I had just hung up a few minutes earlier talking to Verizon Wireless
I don't have a problem with a company doing customer surveys...makes them a better company. However, they should be asking the customer if they would like to participate during the initial call....
This # called but I have my text turned off. We are going to have to put a device in all vehicles, that cannot be altered, that will turn off TEXT of all devices if the vehicle is running. The TOUCH SCREEN in Vehicles is very dangerous and should not be allowed.
nbd. just verizon customer service calling to survey their peeps
Caller ID Irvine CA, 949-286-3973

Got a text same time from Verizon urging me to register my number with "My Verizon"
They called right after I finished with a technical support person from Verizon Wireless to do a survey about how their customer service support technician was.
It was after a call to Verizon Wireless
This is an automated Verizon call asking for a survey to be completed. I received this call 2 times an hour after I called Verizon Wireless customer service for technical support.
This is an automated customer satisfaction survey after calling Verizon customer support. It asks two questions, then lets you record a message.
Since the Caller ID gave just the number I did not answer but I had just called Verizon so good to know thanks
This is just a customer satisfaction survey; if you've called Verizon (or if someone has call Verizon on your account, I assume), they'll ring you from this number within a few days to find out if your problem has been addressed to your satisfaction. It takes a minute or two, at most.
got two calls today after chatting with customer service on my phone problems. This is from chat with customer service when I reported the two calls with the last one leaving voice mail:
Mark: I actually checked this out for you Robert. There is a after call survey that you can request in the beginning of your call to Customer Service. If you accept that you will be contacted after your Customer Service conversation to take a survey regarding your experience.
robert: no charge?
Mark: So it does not look as though it is spam but instead just a survey regarding your recent calls to our Customer Service.
Mark: No charges at all
If this is Verizon Survey, they didn't have information on why I called, because the reason I call them is to tell them no one can hear me when I answer my cell phone or when I call out. . . a new replacement phone is on its way so I couldn't respond to survey even if I wanted to.
I keep getting these calls from a restricted number. That weird part is nothing shows up in my missed calls log. These calls are also costing me 60 cents apiece. I'm with Version and called to complain. They look at my account and tell me there are no record of these calls. Anyone else getting this problem?
Just how many times does this number have to ring up on my cell? I get this number 3 to 4 times a day every day for the past 2 weeks.
Twice, in the last 15 minutes I have gotten calls from this number. I would not answer without googling first. Glad I did.
I did not answer the call. Is this a valid caller or not????
This is a fraud!! Avoid answering calls from this number and any otjer number you do not know!! This very same thing happened to me a few days ago....i took the survey and no more than two hours later my verizon account was hacked!!! They changed my address and ordered a bunch of miscellaneous equipmemt which nearly put me in debt....if i didnt receive notifications on my cell phone who knows if i would have caught it in time to cancel the hackers order!!! BEWARE!
ASF is correct. If you call VW customer service, you'll get an automated call back survey within 30 minutes to an hour. It's a quick survey, but who needs these calls when you're at work?! It's REDICULOUS that they don't ID themselves. Total B.S.
wow. Verizon doesn't waste any time. I reduced the amount of minutes that I need. Called them at 1145 and received a call from this # at 1215 and then again an hr later. Well... Just another number to add to the "blocked" caller list.
Keeps calling and wont leave a message. Very irritating
This is an automated Verizon Wireless survey about a recent call I made to Verizon. Easy to respond to.
It is Verizon Wireless =)
Possibly Verizon following up on a customer service call.
Tom in Denver Mar 07th, 2012
Interesting that it is Verizon Wireless because they do not identify themselves! What a crock! I just dropped the minutes on my Verizon Wireless plan ( that is, went to another lower-priced plan) and now they try to rack up more minutes of usage on my cell phone...nice deal! They have called twice in the half hour since I talked (I called them) to their customer service rep. I don't answer but am very annoyed over this, needless to say.
I called Customer Service this morning. This was a customer satisfaction survey from Verizon Wireless. It took 3 minutes to complete.
Call said Irvine California, but I do not know anyone who lives in that area. They left no message. We just activated new cell phones with Verizon yesterday, so that seems reasonable that they called me on my cell (I don't give out the number very often and I am on the do not call list).
Call back from Verizon. I keep having to call them about all of these charges I keep finding on my bill. Now it seems I am charged 9.99 & 5.99 for email service (called a data package)I do not even use because I was not told when they gave me the free phone that I had to be charged a fee for the phone features that I did not know about but is a requirement to get more money out of people. Look at your bills carefully. I was also charged additional internet service for buying a notebook from them, yet I have their internet service to begin with. So I was paying for 2 internet services from them. Go figure & it took them 2 months to fix the problem when I had returned the notebook after one week. Was a satisfied Verizon customer. Not so sure anymore.
Once you call 611 on your phone (Customer Service), Verizon willc all you back to take a survey abt how the rep handled your issue. It's legit.
This is a call-back from Verizon Wireless -- a customer satisfaction survey I volunteered to answer. Mystery solved! They will call you during a call with their own reps... so ignorant!
This is truly annoying.I think it happens anytime i type my number on the computer. I did today and it happened. hackers or crazies. They have called twice already in less than 2hrs!
number just called back and left voice mail....Verizon looking for feedback....."how about not charging for texts messages like the rest of the world DOES NOT, and how about lowering prices?"....That's about all the feed back they will get from me.Also, if you dont know, you can not sign up for the contract at renewal time, and if you change carriers, you wont be stuck with those outrageous cancellation fees.....Cell phone companies are like most of corporate America....blood suckers, squeezing every drop out of you if you let em.....
says call is from Irvine California. We know nobody in California, and have no business with anyone there.Left no message.
called me at 11:01 on Jul 30. no message. no idea.
