Called and left a recorded message and still failed to identify themselves beyond Your Medical Supply Company. No way I return that call. If you leave a message a name would be nice. Doctors offices leave names but a medical supply company can't??
This caller is Lincare calling about CPAP/BIPAP supplies. I've suggested that they show on the ID that they're Lincare but they haven't done it yet so there are many legitimate customers who will assume that it is an annoying waste of time to answer the call. I would suggest other callers should tell them that they should identify their name on the caller ID.

For some who get their CPAP supplies through the mail, places like this are a blessing. For others who don't, it can be harassing. Either way, they're trying to get as much from your insurance company as possible.

Wow.....so many haters. Probably a bunch of government conspiracy types. I must admit that I have had multiple problems with the local office of Lincare in the past (they had a major turnover problem of employees) but the 800 number is really helpful. My c-pap machine was brand new and its worked great for years. I did finally ask them to take my name off the call list as they were calling too often and it took about six weeks, but I was finally removed. Don't know what the problem with the rest of you is. BTW....no...I DON'T work for Lincare. I just don't believe in bashing a company for trivial reasons. As one of the bloogers below said, stop complaining and call their sales office and ask them to take you off the list. It's not brain surgery folks!
This is the second call today--from a different number! I call it harassment.
I feel sure, based on the comments above this is probably Lincare. I have written to them to stop calling and they refuse. No one should have to put up with a business that will not identify itself on a caller ID!
We received 2 calls from this number in one day and both showed :unavailable". I can believe it is Lincare as they make MANY calls and multiple times in one day. It is very annoying.
They never show who is calling and they make multiple calls a day which is very annoying. We will make the call when we want to order anything. They don't even understand their equipment!
I have called Lincare many times and asked them to stop calling me about CPAP supplies. When I need supplies I order them. They always say they will take my number off the automatic call list but it hasn't happened yet!
Tough Crowd! I for one appreciate the monthly call from Lincare. Rather than me keeping track of when I need supplies, they call me and I simply tell them yes or no for the various components. I've gone literally months between making payments on the copay portion of the supplies I have ordered, and never gotten a collection or call from them that is money related. If anything, I would complain that it is too hard to pay them! but getting suppies could not be any easier.
It's definitely Lincare who supplies equipment for people who needs Cpaps and other respiratory equipment
Scumbags, scumbags, scumbags! Those bastards almost cost me my life! Their only purpose in the world is to screw over you and your insurance company. In my situation they were and are in cahoots with a so called sleep doctor… beware!!!!!!!!! Please do your research! Turns out the doctor that had my life in his hands does not know dick about sleep apnea! Long, long story but I assure you the doctor in my area and Linscum where in bed together to make a dollar and to hell with the customer! When my family became afraid for my life they helped double check what these punks were doing and found that the supplies they were renting, selling, etc were so old, so out dated… and when we check around our community we found person after people that have been thru hell and back because of the same doctor and Linscum! If you or someone you know has any dealing with these people RUN don’t walk, RUN THE HELL away from these evil people while you still can!!!!!!

Boy o boy Lincare take you for ride. machine cost insurance $2,600.00 and they tried to recover $900.00 from me. I paid a little each month due to no job at this time. They don't care. I told the bitch at billing I was unemployed right now, they wanted me to put balance on my credit card. Anything to get money. She said it would be OK to pay off in 6 months but she lied, they sent letters to send me to collections. When I try to call her she was never in office, typical. Even though I am not employed, stupid Visa approved me for card and I paid them off. What a country we live in, of course better than former soviet rpublic Im from. Believe it they still call for supplies to cpap every month I tell them find another teet to suckel.
LinCare is one of the worst medical company’s my family and I have ever encountered. I went thru hell because of their incompetence! The Lincare office I worked with in northern Washington State partnered with a crackpot doctor, together they have a hell of a racket selling old outdate medical supplies. Their irresponsible practices have caused much extreme heartache. One day they will get their upcomings! If you currently see a sleep doctor and use the doctor’s partner “Lincare” do youself a Big favor… don’t walk, RUN away from them, go see a different doctor! Ask lots of questions and you will understand you are not alone and yes there are other doctors that will take care of you, sad to say not these jackals I speak of!

They call more than once a month, it's several times a week! Is my number on a bathroom wall some place for a sucker to buy medical supplies!! Trying to get the sales numbers up before FREE healthcare ruins it all. Want healthcare? Get a dam job and stop expecting everyone to help your sorry ass out! Better yet move to England where you pay 50% of your income to cover the lazy asses of the world!
Lincare dialing for dollars, wanting to sell you more supplies that you don't need or insurance wont authorize!! If I wanted a filter or a new machine I would call, the dam number is plastered right on the dam pump! STOP calling you freaking idiots!!
Do not order these supplies unless you actually need them. They call every month telling you that you can order supplies. If you have not met your deductable then you will have to pay the amount due. They are MUCH higher than you buy them at the store. They are billing my insurance $200 a month for the machine and you can buy it brand new for $800.
No wonder insurance is on the rise! With the economy in the crapper this includes medical supply companies, they are dailing for dollars hoping you'll bite! Yea, I'll take one of those and those too, what the hell. Insurance pays for it, why not send a few to my friends too! If I wanted something for my cpap machine I would call. The dam number is plastered on the thing! Any thing to make a buck! Ugh...
It is not a scam. If you have a Cpap from Lincare then you get supplies from them as well. If you don't want to purchase your supplies from them then contact LinCare billing and tell them as much and they will stop calling you, instead of being a lazy asshole and spouting off on a website.
This # is for LinCare CPAP supply line. They call once a month to let you know that you are eligible for your monthly CPAP supplies which will be billed to your insurance on file with LinCare.
LinCare has a pretty good scam calling every month to sell CPAP supplies that get billed to my insurance. I added the number to my local contacts list so LinCare shows up in caller ID regardless. That way I know not to take the call...
