They call at late hours and if you don't answer they leave no voice message. I know not to answer from researching the phone number left on my phone but how can we get these people to stop harassing us? I thought bill collectors had ethics, standards and new laws to enable true professionalism.

Call Lexington Law 888-683-2455 they will end collector calls and clean up credit scores for you. I had an ex-wife leave me a mess, they took care of business at a reasoable fee! I wish I would have found them sooner.

I have been receiving calls from this company for over a month. I called and spoke to a very polite representative who was looking for the previous owner of the phone number I now have. She was very courteous and advised she would remove my number from their calling list.
If you are getting similar calls and you are not in collections call them.

I got a call from Tom Gold, also. When I called them, they were looking for the previous owner of my new phone number. Spoke with someone named Travis and he was very polite. He agreed to remove my number from his call list.

If you're not sure what they want, call them. The person I spoke with was very pleasant and helpfu. Good luck!

These calls are from Leading Edge Recovery Solutions.

"Tom Gold", "Vincent Gray", "Hank Salmon", "Richard Silver" are some of the fake names used by "Leading Edge Recovery" in pre-recorded calls to harass people at their homes and work.
If you receive any call from Leading Edge be sure to post the number they called from, the fake name they used for the call, and the date / time of the call.

They were very polite about removing my number from their list. They were looking for the previous owner of my number. Which is understandable. These things happen. They even apologized to me repeatedly...heck...if I was gonna be bothered by collections, I would pick this company to do it ^.^ Have a great one guys!

I just call them and the woman that answered was very nice and apologetic. She explained that they were trying to reach someone else who may have formerly owned my number (I just got this number on Sunday). She got my number and said it was removed from the list. Keeping fingers crossed over here!

Continous calls...9 in the last 2 days. No message left. Number of previous calls. Am behind on some cards due to medical, however, letters sent to all cards with reason for being behind. Have not been able to catch up due to increase in interest rates, late fees, over limit fees, etc. Now receiving correspondence from collection agencies where a credit limit is 800 and they state I owe over 5,000. How can that be? Illegal charges by the collection agency and or credit card company.

I receive this call daily. "This is Tom Gold ..." I have had harassing calls for a year now due to the people who had my number previously. I have been able to clear up the direct calls from their mortgage company, Sprint, and car loan bank (to name a few) by speaking to an individual. I can't find a way to stop these automated calls though ... I'm not home when they call so I can't even be connected to a real person!

Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan has filed a lawsuit against a Chicago debt collection agency for allegedly using unfair tactics, intimidation and misrepresentations to convince consumers to make payments when, in some instances, the consumers never owed the money.

The lawsuit names Leading Edge Recovery Solutions, L.L.C., as the defendant. Leading Edge Recovery Solutions, an Illinois limited liability corporation based in Chicago, collects debts on behalf of various entities, including credit card and installment debts.

Finally got a live person. The company is Leading Edge Recovery Solutions. They're a debt collector. Said I had a Cap. One mastercard that I owed money on. I never had a mastercard through Cap. One, so I asked her to send me a statement so I can review it. She got very bitchy with me and said they don't send out statements. After arguing with her for five minutes about getting a statement, she hung up on me.
