This line answers and asks you to answer a few questions to see if you qualify for their promotion. They ask if you are 18 or over, press 1. Then they ask if you have a car, press 1. Then they ask if you have used a credit or debit card to purchase anything, press 1 for yes or 2 for no. Press 2 and they say you don't qualify. Too funny.
Just like in Mexico when the resort places want to give you a "free tour" and meal for taking the tour. They go through all the questions and then ask for your Visa number. No Visa? No tour. After we learned that, when they would hit us up on the street, we would just say "No Visa" and they would move on to someone else.
This person was Mandy and said our name was selected last night in a drawing... BOGUS!!
Mandy says I won a $25,000 shopping spree. Press 2 for DNC. Lets see if it works.
voicemail transferred me to this male he sounded African American and I asked him why he kept calling my house when it was listed on the do not call registry and he said some really nasty stuff. These people need to be stopped as soon as the GOP gets back to work!
A girl named "Mandy" called saying the same story about winning $25,000 or credit for a shopping spree. Caller Id was 888-300-5799. Call back # was
888-861-3739 Ext. 925 BOGUS
Got the call, let it go to message. called back the number given,
888-301-4263 (x220), on my cell phone. Asked for Heidi at x 220. Woman said what is your name. I said Heidi would know my name. No, I need your name. I said thank you, I'll call the number that is in the caller ID which was (888) 300-5799 which didn't connect to anything. Fun waste of time...
Today it was Mandy telling me that I'd won $25,000 prize just for signing up at a shopping mall, movie theater or online over the past 12 months. Oh Boy!!! Too bad I'd done none of those things and refuse to get involved in calling her back at her special phone number.
maggots is right. How do these people live with themselves? Flipping burgers for minimum wage is a very honorable job. Doing this for a living will never scrub off.
Voicemail from (888) 300-5799
"Hi this is Brooklyn calling from modification Center in regards to an entry form you but-october-the(?) twenty five thousand dollars shopping spree or twenty five thousand dollars in cash and one of our shopping malls movie theaters or online in the past. So I have some very(?) didn't see your name was pulled(?) last night. So gimme a call back at
888-880-2403. Again that number is
888-880-2403 extension four three four."
Same as below, car and $25000, called by the "Notification Center". I don't fill out forms and I'm on the do not call list.
Called twice today - We recently had our bank account compromised and I wonder if they are just trying to get some sort of voice recording they can use to authorize charges and electronic checks - I no longer answer the phone if I don't know who it is. They can leave a message
I won a shopping spree... told them to just buy me an expensive hooker and send her over..... click... buh-bye looooozzzer!
Same Brooklyn. Company DBVC. If I don't want the $25000 shopping spree, I wonder if I can collect my $25000 cash in small unmarked bills? Do not call means just that and politeness in a voice mail does not matter. Just want to be left ALONE!
This time, it was "Brooklyn" calling to tell me I'd won. Message was essentially the same as when Jonathan called last month except for a different extension. I guess I get to do another report to state & federal Do Not Call agencies.
Number is the call-back number left on the message by caller "Brooklyn" who assured me that I'd signed up for their prize at a mall or movie theater in the past 12 months. Since I know that's not true, I didn't bother to return her call. The number she called from is
888-300-5799.
Just more scum sucking maggot scam artists.
At least the others won money. :) "Joey" left a message that I had won either a BMW 528xi or a Porsche Boxster.
Received the same call. Old people are being scammed by this. Good job on reporting this to the do not call list
"Jonathan" left me a message from the "Notification Center" that I had won $25000 because I had filled out an entry form at a shopping mall or movie theater. Left call-back number
888-880-2403 ext 555. Since I didn't fill out any forms, I didn't bother to call back. I will report it to the state and federal Do Not Call agencies.
I won money in a entry form I filled out. I never fill out entry forms. Avoid answering the phone if you see this number
I received the same from the same number on 6-13-13
The message said they had "great news" for me. I had won $25000.00 or something else. They also stated I had entered their contest at a mall, store or movie theatre over this past year.
I do not enter contests- I'd say this is a scam!
Message offered me a free $50,000 home makeover because I had entered some contest.
