It’s a scam they are telling you that people have been trying to hack onto your system. I told the guy I knew he was trying to scam me and he said he had to they were holding him hostage and he still tried to get me to send money

#, either & this voice message computer call is cut off from the beginning only stating like “ if you want to discuss your acct.. press 2”. When I call this tollfree # back , it states that I will “ need a Metro PCS care to complete the call”. There’s no “1” before “888-266-0002
” & it comes all like that ten numbers altogether ,& only says “ unknown” as Caller ID. I don’t have Comcast. If it weren’t for this website, I would never have known this was Comcast. I’m sick of these very questionable Computer voice calls.

The computer voice call is cut off : only says to “speak to someone about your acct., press 2”: I have no idea who this is. When I try calling back this alleged tollfeee # , it stated that I “needed a Metro PCS Card” to complete the call. Now I Blocked it.
I want to go back to Boost Mobile, I’m very mistreated by Teaneck Rd. Teaneck Metro PCS.

Service in our area had been out, this call from Comcast was to inform us it was back on and if we were experiencing any problems, to call them.
Ah hello?? Two calls in a half an hour???? Give me a break, when I google the number it says that its a comcast payment center in idianapolis. I am in oregon. what's wrong here?

Received a call from 888-266-2278. They left no message. The caller ID read COMCAST. I called COMCAST customer service. They said this number is for a call center in Georgia. I live in a different state. He said they shouldn't be calling in my state. I asked to be added to Comcast's Internal Do Not Call List. They can still call for billing or service issues, but not sales. It will take 30 days for all of the Internal Call Centers to get my name on their Do Not Call List. Hopefully, this will work.
Comcast upsell call. Told me my account had been specially selected to receive an upgrade to the Digital Preferred package with an additional 100+ HD channels, HBO, etc. They just needed to confirm my account info... type type type, *mumble* something about only an additional 9.95/mo on my bill *mumble*. I put the breaks on right there asking if this was a sales call or if was really a prize as implied, to which they confirmed it would cost more, but 'it is a really good deal, and that is why I should be excited to get this opportunity'... Yeah, an opportunity to pay them another ten bucks a month for channels I don't need and wouldn't watch!
Called mid afternoon. No one on the line when I answered - just "dead" air.
My girlfriend gets calls from this number multiple times a day. When either me or her answers, there is no one on the other end, and the voice mails left don't say anything.
they call me daily, sometimes twice. they are trying to sell additional services. I talked to them once and told them that I didn't want anything else from them. I already pay them enough.

. This number calls me. If it goes to voice mail I sometimes get no message. sometimes I get a very long message of background noise only then a hang up. A couple of times when I answered this call, I go long pauses then a hang up, and a couple of times I answered this call, I got a pre-recorded messages saying, thank you for calling Comcast. Yet I did not call them, they called me. The call my cell phone which is on the Do Not Call list. They also call my 2 home phones, both on separate numbers, and my business phone, a different fourth number. My cell phone and business lines are in separate area codes than my home phones. They call three different area codes and four different numbers, and I have yet to speak to any live customer service agent. So far I have gotten more than a dozen calls in the last three days.
I just canceled my Comcast. They have called twice today and left no message.
Called today. ID said it was comcast, but this man kept trying to get me to pay the bill over the phone, kept trying to talk me out of going to the office. Seemed a little pushy over a bill thats not even late. I wouldnt give these callers any information if i was you.
It is comcast and leave messages that I need to call them about my service account. They say it is important that I call and leave a list of times when to call back. They are only open certain hours and certain days per week for call back. Funny thing is, I have Never Ever had their service! I have no account and never have had one. These calls come several times a week and sometimes 3-4 in a single day. If the phone is answered, there is no response and then hangs up. They will never have to worry about me being a customer or having an account to call about. I will have no business with them ever!!

This number has been calling me anywhere from 10 to 15 times a week for the past few months. I don't answer most of the time. When I do answer, no one speaks. I don't know officially who this is, but i'm guessing its Comcast. I have their service, and have had it for a while now. I'm getting REALLY irritated! If they really are trying to sell services, that is considered telemarketing, and I am on the Do Not Call list...so it seems to me that they are breaking the law, reguardless of whether or not I currently have service through them!
got a couple calls, right after i terminted my comcast subsription. couldnt hear anyone on the first call, though that may be because i was in the basement, and bad reception. on the second call i didn't answer, they didn't leave message.

It is comcast. Never got these calls before UNTIL I cancelled tv service. I need gas money more than cable tv at this moment... only reason why I cancelled.

We've had calls from this number at least 3x daily for a couple of weeks now. No message is ever left, just like all the other "unknown" or "toll free call" listings on our caller ID.
They call at least 5 days/wk, several times a day. We either hang up or don't answer.
I just received a call from that number. They hung up without speaking. I also just terminated my Comcast service.

I just decided to go for the Comcast 3. Cable, internet and digital phone last week. Now I have recieved 3 calls from this number in the past two days. I wouldn't mind so much if they would make an effort to pronounce my name.
"calling 'on behalf of' Comcast." Called four times in one day. Ask what cable service I have. If it is Comcast, they know what service I have, so I hang up.
Comcast related. They call even when I'm current with monthly bill. Trying to get me to add additional options, phone, direct, etc.

Received call on 01/08/07, 5:44 pm. Did not answer, nothing showed up in caller id. No message was left.
According to my phone, this # has called a total of 9 times (no messages ever left). Today they have called 3 times so far before noon!!
I finally answered this number. They were trying to sell Comcast phone service.
