I've been getting a call from that number for a while. i dont know who it is, but they have been calling my cell. how do we get them to stop?
They called yesterday and I finally talked to someone. She said they want to ask questions about how I like my service. I said to call me back in a few weeks and they called me again today!

Just signed up for Comcast last week. Got the call when I was at work and couldn't answer- no message and when I tried to return the call, at first I got nothing, the second attempted yielded what sounded like a fax or a dial-up modem.
If this is Comcast, I suggest that if anyone actually gets to talk to someone who's calling, tell them of the problem. And tell them that they need to at least leave a message or they will loose numerous customers.
Comcast has been pushing my buttons since the day I had it installed, I don't know how much more I can take. Unfortunately, they're the only option for cable around here and my lease doesn't allow a satellite.

We were already on their internal DoNotCall, but we upgraded our Comcast service and I got a call today. Explained to the woman that we will take them to Small Claims if they call again eff. IMMEDIATELY. She said it might take 30 days... I replied, "If you call again, we'll see you in court."
I just got a call from this number at a meeting at work. I don't know if it is Comcast, but Comcast IS selling numbers. When we first signed up for Comcast, they mispelled my Wife's last name (Marden)on our account. They thought it was Marlen. Soon after signing up, we started getting spam calls for a Mrs. Marlen. Comcast TOTALLY screwed us on this.

After dozens of calls I finally answered and there was a liver person on the other side. He asked me to rate my new comcast service from 1-10. Hopefully they'll stop calling now.
Multiple calls-continually hang up befor e I can answer. No message left on voicemail. When I try to return the call I get a fax number tone.

I have been recieving calls from this number, everyday for almost 3 weeks and they never leave a message. I do not owe anyone any money, i do not have bills over due... so i have no idea why they would be calling me. But i will not answer it.

I also just recently signed up for Comcast about two weeks ago, now I keep getting a lot of calls on my cell phone from a (866)375-9424 number but when I answer no one responds and when I call back a machine claims that there is no such number.

I contacted Comcast over the weekend via email regarding this call. They confirmed that it is a third party company they use for customer satisfaction follow-up. I asked them to please stop calling me & alerted them to this web address and the dozens of complaints. I was informed that the calls would stop & they apologized for the inconvenience....I just received another call though!

, they probably got my full name through my voice mail. when i tried to call back and no one answered. I then online googled this phone # and it brought me here. I then saved the numbers to my phonebook such as 716-650-6240 and renamed it as "Don't answer". and .866-529-1899
-"Don't Call". i don't know where they got my number, maybe through the resumes that i posed online. hope they won't call me and i won't pick up their calls.
I have received several hang-ups on my VM from this number. When I attempted to call the number I received the message "AT501 - You have dialed a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service."
I also called comcast a week or so ago for tech service and since then have received at least 2 calls a day from this number. Put a call into comcast and they are looking into it.

I just got calls this Monday to now (Friday).
The number calls me constantly and never answers and when I call back, it says the number is dialed wrong!

w/Ext; concerning a claim and that this is not a sales call. They will then try Call Block and then 716-650-6240.
If you happen to answer or recorder picks up, you get a recorded message that is very ignorant if not threatening.
This # is Comcast Survey.
Anytime you make a change to your account; upgrade/downgrade service, change a phone#; or have a tech come to your house, you will get this call.
The reason some of you are having problems with this number is because they contract out to company's or people to do these calls for them. The later purchase outdated computer generated calling programs or go to the kitchen for a cup of coffee, resulting in calls failing to be picked up once you answer. Or in the case of the giggling, their children start playing around with the program or simply hit redial.

It displays as RSRCH on Caller ID; they state who they are and ask for you by name and then normally hang up. They are a precurser to being harassed by a Finance Company "National Action Finance" from Buffalo, NY.
National Action Finance uses serveral numbers to call you with afterwards. They start with 866-375-9424
, which they leave a pleasent message about a claim that needs your attention. They further state this is not a sales promotion and to call them at 866-529-1899
and an extention. From there you are flooded with calls from anywhere between 9AM to 8PM any day of the week. From there, they then try Call Blocking and then use 716-650-6240
. If you happen to answer any of these, you get a recorded message which is very ignorant, almost threatening.
They have been trying to reach me for over a month now; which I do not return calls from anyone I do not know, let alone a recorded message. I imagine that they will try other numbers as this progresses, from reading information about these people. Look up the 716-650-6240

Just got a call from this number (3:04 PM EST). When I answered, they hung up. When I called back it said the call could not go through. This is the 2nd time I've received this call in the last 3 months.

Received a call everyday this week. 1/2 8:47pm, 1/3 5:22pm, 1/4 4:51pm, 1/5 10:43am. I changed my comcast service, even though I have been a customer going back to when they took over cablevision, this was back at the end of november. I did receive a customer service survey a week after that. There is no reason for them to call me again, and my bill is not overdue.

I've recvd 1 missed call, the 2nd this morning I answered, they hung up. I tried calling back-no such number/disconnected try your call again.
This number has been calling my cell repeatedly for 2 weeks now. It only rings 2-3 times giving me no time to find the cell and answer. This is really annoying since my job often requires me to sleep during the day. Yes, 2 weeks ago I recently upgraded my Comcast cable service. After Googling the number, I found this website. What a find! I called Comcast and told them NO CALLS PLEASE. The customer service agent said it would stop; however, he did not confirm that the number 866-375-9424 was Comcast. Weird.

I have contacted Comcast and have at least preliminary confirmation that this is a problem at their end. They are merely calling to ask if we're happy with them. I get no response when I answer, so it has become an annoyance. It may be related to those who only have cell phone numbers on file -- as is my case. Let's hope this is resolved soon as the Comcast customer rep has elevated it to management -- now that they are aware of this annoyance.
Have had numerous calls from this #. The last time caller id said toll-free #. They leave no message. I have called this # back and I get a message saying my call cannot be completed as dialed. Don't understand that when that is the # that called me. I am also a comcast subscriber.

If this is Comcast, thats fine, but you must understand the skeptisism as the lisiting is anonymous, and no message is left. Also, calling me at
11:30PM is not an effective way of ensuring my satisfaction. Also, calls from a number in Wyoming started only days after signing up, which I have confirmed are a telemarketer. I can't help but feel there is a connection.

If you just started a comcast service, they're calling you to see if you are satisfied with your service. The fourth time they called I finally was available to answer it. They ask you how things are going and 5 questions about your service and then they're done. Pick it up!
New memer to Comcast? YES! Though they call my cell, it did list it with Comcast as primary means of contacting me (they were installing a phone for me so I had no landline). This is my second posting and they called me for the 1,000th time and I finally answered... It was some lady asking for "Mr. John" Now, my name is Peter but my Comcast account is under my roomate's name, John. His name on the account, my cell phone, go figure... Comcast sucks!

I have received a total of 16 calls in the last two weeks from this number. I have received them as late as 11:45PM and on weekends as well. I have not answered but am becoming very annoyed. My question to the rest of you is: Are you also new members of Comcast? My belief is that they have sold our infomation to telemarketing agencies.
