11 hangup calls from this company since 2/14. I've received other calls from them as well. I don't have any accounts with this company.

i'm always paid up before the late fee becomes due... yet they call all the time AND NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE... then when you get written correspondence from them, it states that they've tried to reach you but could not.... how the hell can you call them back if they don't state who's calling. -they don't even leave a courtesy message with their phone number. .. were it not for my calls coming thru my email, which identifies the number, i would have no idea beneficial even called.... in fact i have to rely on these 'who called me' sites, just to find out it's them... if they don't wanna leave a message, that's fine with me... but then they shouldn't LIE about it, acting like they've been leaving messages to contact them, when in fact they haven't.

Stop calling day in and day out... If it is important you could at least leave a message if not stop calling..... Very annoying.. :(
Calls start around 8:00 throughout the day - daily.
I receive about 8-10 times per day, including weekends. There is no response from the caller when we answer the phone. I have waited on the line, shouted "hello hello, who is this?" They wont talk, just keep ringing my number all day, 7 days a week.
Has been going on for a month or better. Have told them (They identified themselves as HSBC) that I was not the named person(s) they were looking for. That the number is fairly new to me and that I do now know the named person(s) and to please put me on their do not call list. They responded they would. But they keep calling anyways. I tried spoofing my voice mail message with "The number your are calling is no longer in service" but they weren't fooled. I have been answering the phone again when they call. I have been recording the phone call. I have told them again that I do not know the named person(s) and reminded them to put me on their do not call registry and have informed them I would report them to the National Do Not Call Registry. They say that won't be necessary and that they would remove my number from their calling list. Then they call back and start it all over again. I then repeat the same warning and they state they see it in their notes and apologize for calling and that management had not removed my number from their automatic dialing system. Then they call again and again and again. They will be reported!
This is HSBC. They called every 20 minutes yesterday, I finally handed the phone to my hubs. They were calling to "remind" us that the mortgage payment was due. It was still within the grace period. He explained that we are well within our rights to pay within the grace period, we are not in default, and would they please stop calling us. We'll see what happens.
As of this date (12/12/10) have received 40 calls so far this month. No messages, just "unavailable" on caller ID.I have called this number twice so far and it is definetley HFC. I do have an account with them and my payments have been automatically deducted from my checking account since May 2000.Both persons I spoke with are hard to understand because of heavy accents. They also both assured me that my account was fine and there shouldn't be any reason for these phone calls, they both also assured me that they would stop the calls, but they just keep coming. Wish I could find the CEO's name and let him/her have an ear full
Karen, unless Ho(u)sehold is your original creditor, you should be able to bag them under FDCPA for calling in the knowledge you have a legal rep. Might even help pay for the BK filing, no? They are I'm sure perfectly capable of resetting a predictive dialer to quit bugging you.

This is an automated call from HSBC. I actually have waited on hold for my 'very important message' for over 20 minutes when the system tells me that all representatives are busy with others and instructed me to call a toll free number and have my account number handy and then disconnect me. I get calls every hour between 8am and 8pm, 7 days a week. Holidays too. Not once has there EVER been a real human on the other end. I am filing bankruptcy and have already instructed HSBC to contact my lawyer. Sadly, my lawyers gets the automated system calling him as well. My phone is set to automatically send this number to voicemail.
get calls from this number 4 or5 times it is hsbc
Most likely HSBC trying to collect a debt. They call constantly.
I keep receiving calls from this number daily. I am on the do not call list and they won't stop. Sometimes they call 7 times in one day. I can't pick up because I'm at work. I need this number to stop calling me. It's becoming harrassment.
