when asked that by law he is supposed to disclose who he is, why is he calling, which company he is from, does not wants to disclose any information saying that its a state law due to which he cannot disclose anything about him and then hung up.

these guys keep calling all day long.

I called Chase's Card Services in NYC 212-270-6000)and was referred to their fraud department. They informed me that they had no business to discuss with me and that the call was probably a phising scam. They did not ask for details so I think they need to hear from more of those who are being scammed.

When you call the number it doesn't give you the name of the of the business and it asks for your account number. I told them I did not have an account with them they asked my name and I did not give it to them, I told them my number was a do not call number to delete it from their records, they were looking for Isaac, I told them I have had the same number for 3 years no Isaac here.

On Sunday 16-NOV-2008, 8 calls were received between 8:07AM - 8:47AM then another 8 calls were received between 3:00PM - 3:23PM. On Monday 17-NOV-2008, 8 calls were received between 8:08AM - 8:54AM...

All calls are placed to a BUSINESS FAX LINE during non-business hours.

We attempted to send a reply fax to this number (800-424-5004), but it would not go thru. So, we called the number and received the following automated response:

"Thank you for calling Customer Service. Please enter your 16-digit account number."

Being that we had no idea who the caller is, we were not able to provide an account number.

I read on this website that the call is from Chase. I called our local Chase Branch and was told that that number is a phishing number and DO NOT respond with any account information.

I have reported the phone number and phone calls to the FCC.

After receiving a ton of calls from 800-424-5004 (identifying themselves as Chase Card Services) on my cell, I finally got them to stop. They said they were "collections" looking for a person (they gave me the name) who was not paying. So now I am getting calls from 302-282-8004. They do leave messages and are asking for the same person to call them back. Obviously, they do not care that this cell number is not owned by the person they are seeking. I tried calling Chase to put a stop to this and Chase denies it is them - they said they never heard of these two numbers calling as a collection agent for Chase Card Services. When I confronted the caller with the info I got from Chase, they said they could not understand why Chase would deny it, as they were a legitimate agent for Chase.

Called three times this morning. No message on first two calls, but I answered the third. I think they said "Chase" but the lady spoke broken English, I could barely understand. Zapped with PhoneTray. Have a nice day invasive phone-thug telemarketers! Verizon, my carrier, is impotent to block any unwanted calls much less protect their customer. Thinking of buying a Tracphone and scrapping my land line! I'll save money, and I will not have these unwanted terrorists harassing and annoying me by phone, which is illegal but no one gives a sh*t about. Maybe I'll forward the calls to my senator, AG, or state police department and see if it is really as funny as they think it is. "Yeah, we passed a law against it, now you expect us to actually ENFORCE it?" Ha, stupid voter.

We can pay to send clowns into outer space, but we, as citizens cannot block thugs from calling us here on earth. I wonder how many telemarketers get through to NASA or the space station, or the whitehouse, or the pentagon.....

Is this number connected to 800-424-5004, the Indian scam artists, who have been calling mercilessly for someone who I do not know? I'm thinking of picking up the phone and telling the illiterate indian that I am Musharraf and that the next time you call, I will nuke your Hindu country, and that the Islamo-facists will put a jihad on your buttocks after so many muslims are evaporated.....

I can find this number nowhere yet. Except here http://litigiousconsumer.com/.

I owe no credit cards, nor am I delinquent on any payments. This is pure harassment at its finest and unfair.

These freaking Indians have been calling us for months, every day about 10 times a day. It's definitely a scam; they wanted our current checking account ABN# so they could 'fix our outstanding questionable credit'. Our credit is excellent and we get financing whenever we want, so we know this isn't kosher. Protect yourselves and tell them nothing. I told them I know they're a scam from India and said if they keep calling here we will disconnect our phone, thereby giving them one less house to harass. We have never had any dealings whatsoever with Chase!

Got a call (3th time today) and there was actually someone on the other end (Yes, I was surprized)
Ditka asked for someone who I have never heard of and refused to believe me.
I asked what number she called. She gave me a number that only had the area code correct. The rest were not even close.
She GURANTEED me that I will not be recieving any more calls from the 8004245004 number. She also got all upset when I mentioned I was recording the call saying that her Bank does not allow calls to be recorded but had no reply when I mentioned the speil before she picked up about the call will be monitored or recorded. I offered she hang up if she didn't like it but she just kept on yapping. (Colorado law states only one party needs to know about the recording if it is taking place, and I knew)Will see if she and 'Her Bank' keep her word and not call again or not.

I had received 20+ calls a day from a company claiming to be chase, however, they called me in the middle of the night, on sundays, and every other day. I've asked them to take my number off of their mailing list, and they don't, they call me more times a day for every time I tell them that they have the wrong person. I've cussed them out, threated to take them to court, and spoken with what the damn people call their manager. I've had enough, and I've done the research on this. I think it's time to start a harasment lawsuit. It will happen soon. One more call from them and I swear that I'll shut down the whole third worlds jerkheads down and make sure that the stupid idiots quit their day jobs. They cant speak english very good, and they are rediculous. It's just embarrasing to have to chew out some dumbass person because they cant understand the words "you've got the wrong number" or "leave me alone, you call 20+ times a day, all night, and on sundays, and you are calling every single time for the wrong person. If it wasn't right the first time, why would it be right the next 19+ times asshole?" It's just rediculous. I wouldn't trust these people at all. It's probably a scam. I don't give a shit what they say.

If there is any problem with you account it will be noted in their systems and a rep will be able to tell you.

This is their Harassment -Opps! I meant collection Department. They have been calling several times a day from 301-620-3102 for the past two months. I noticed today that they are now calling from a different number now 800-424-5004. They must be on to the new technology that allows you to ignore calls from a particular number... They want to make sure that we do not miss ANY harassment and use another number in case we have them on call ignore... Oh what simpletons... it only takes a few seconds to add their new number to the call ignore feature. Am I the only one who feels NEGELECTED if the mailbox is empty (no nasty collection letters) and no one has called (bill collectors suffering from PMS and anal STD's) in the past 10 minutes?!?! Speaking of which... NO ONE HAS called me in the past half-hour. Hmmmm... I do hope they did not forget about me... What ever shall I do to entertain myself?? I guess I will just have to go and masterbate... Call me... DAMMIT.... PLUH-eeze!!! ((whack-whack-whack-whack-WHACK-WHACK-WHAAACCCK!!!!)) {phone rings} I check caller ID and it's THEM again... RUINED a PERFECTLY GOOD ORGASM... BASTARDS!!!

BEWARE: IT'S PROBABLY NOT CHASE.
I receive calls from this number and just called them back. They asked for my account number (?) and my social. I refused, and told the person I wanted to know if they were legitimately associated with Chase Bank. They hung up on me. Then, I called Chase at 800-935-9935 and spoke with a customer service rep; the first person told me the number was from their collections department, then I asked for a supervisor who told me that 800-424-5004 was NOT a Chase number and they would never ask for that information over the phone. Apparently it didn't bother Chase that they were giving out inconsistent information. I am inclined to believe it is a scam. I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call. I don't know if this ever does any good or not. If it is scammers, you'd think someone could shut them down.

This is a number that apaprently is run by a bunch of middle east Indians. Contraqcted by who I dont know. They have called me for the past 3 months between 8 and 16 times a day. Including weekends!!!! When calling the number back another recording asks for an account number..They dont have the knowledge to request the account type..just a number...duh!
On the weekend the number then defaults to we are closed on the weekend. But they continue to harass on the weekend. When I finally got a poor emglish speaking INDIAN I asked for the company name address and ownership. They asked me for my name. I refused and they hung up! I guess if they are unwilling to tell me who they are, who contracted with them and their address they must be a cloak and dagger operation. If any US compnay contracts with them I hope they realize the pathetic representation they are getting from this entity. I have received t calls today and the second I told them I was going to put a private eye on them and file a DECEPTIVE TRADE suite against them as they refused to identify them selves It maybe a CHASE firm. If I can prove it my significant portfolio will get moved to CITIBANK (the other arm of the DEVIL)

This is a great site and may we can find a pro bono lawyer that would like to take on a class action suite. There are plenty of complaints here and I sure we can find more!

These people are from a collection agency and they keep calling me looking for my landlord. I rent an
apartment from them at the same address and since they have had their landline disconnected they are calling me. Threatening to report them to the Attorney General's office doesn't stop them from calling. I cannot wait for my landlord to finally sell the house so the harrassment stops. This is getting INSANE. And yes, I have filled out a complaint for and sent it to Andrew Cuomo's office.

This is Chase Collections. You need to understand that it is ILLEGAL to phone you more than one time a day and outside the hours of 8am and 9pm and NOT on Sunday - whether you owe money or not! There are lawyers who will take your case in suing these telephone harrassers. Look for them. We are talking THOUSANDS of dollars in your pocket, not just peanuts. Go get 'em!! I took close-up photos of caller IDs and taped all of the messages, and I'm ready to go to court and collect me some money!!!

They call about every 10 minutes. You can't understand the person on the other end. They don't speak English. They threaten and curse at whoever answers the phone including children and try to obtain sensitive information like SSN #s and related information. You want to know where Identity theft happens? It's definitely Chase Credit Cards. I play a little game with them. Everytime they call, I don't answer. Then I call the number back, press '#' 4 times (this will get an operator). Wait until they say "can I have your card number?", yell "NO" and hang up.

Doesn't achieve much but it makes me feel better.

They are driving me crazy. I have one Chase account that is in good standing and I will not have it for long. The calls start at 8:11 every morning and continue every half hour to an hour all day long until appx 9:30 pm. From what I've heard there is nothing I can do to stop these calls. Thanks, Chase.

This is very harassing. These people call me every hour (sometimes twice a hour) starting at 8am and it goes on until 9pm. I don't owe Chase any money. This is extremely unbelievable...

First off, they called me at 6:32 am, called me on my work related cell phone. It's set at a high volume ring for emergency purpose.
I tried calling back four different numbers from this site and all they seem to want is my social.

WTF - is this legit or not? Seems like a bunch of bull s***

they claimed that they are citicard regarding home depot account. I do not understand why they claim like that, and call me three times a day. Because I called the citicard customer service and they said i had no reason to be called.
