I do not believe that this is ADT. The message I received when I called is that (in a British woman's accent)"we are experiencing technical difficulties, please call back later." If this was ADT they would have identified themselves.

They left a message on my business phone that my alarm went off at 3:09 pm today. We've been here all day (Monday) and no alarm sounded. I called them; they said they have no record of an alarm occurence. I asked why would they call and leave that message? Their answer: "I don't know."
Asked them 3 times to stop calling my Cell. I have never had any business with them & never will !!! Msg left 3 times to reschedule app for a Mr Black....not us. VERY irritating. Going to block them on my Verizon cell.
ADT Security- 2010-10-07. Those scoundrels got me out of bed at 6:00 AM with their telemarketing scheme.
They called me at almost 10pm. Wrong number. I've NEVER had ADT and have no idea WHO the person they were looking for is. I've had this cell number for 6yrs so I can't see it being someone's old number. That's an awfully long time for someone to not update their home security records
ADT also calls if you are on a friend's or relative's list to call in case of a breakin at their home.
Received three consecutive calls from this number. No messages were left. Since I am an ADT customer & had no alarm incident, I assume this was a sales call.
don't have ADT and they called my cell number
PEOPLE, ADT is contacting you to inform you know that your home/apt has been broken into and that the authorities have been called. If you do NOT have service with them, a friend of yours may have listed you as an EMERGENCY contact person just in case the owner is not available. It's just so that you are made aware and so that you make the owner aware as well.

why would they call me, i do not have their service, i never have.
I didn't answer. After googling the number I started calling everyone on my ADT contact list until I found the person they got ahold of.
This is a call you should take if you have an ADT security system. In my case, the call was to inform me that my security system failed its monthly signal test.
the alarm went off at the restaurant because of a new employee and I just talked to them, I also suggested called ID would be good but they said for security reasons if your house was being robbed you would not want the robber to know ADT was calling. I have to agree with that.
called at 6:30 didn't answer because 800# my alarm was not even set they sent police!
Didn't answer. Called on cell phone
As of 02/18/09 this number associates with ADT Security Services, Inc., Account Services. If you would like to reach ADT, please dial 800-238-2727
or visit http://www.adt.com/
Well that's funny that it's supposedly ADT calling about an alarm going off because I don't even have an ADT alarm, this number is listed as a scam on various websites.
ADT, calls on Mondays to tell me there is a fault in the system, never a real issue yet luckily. Just their systems break constantly!
ditto...ADT definitely want to answer...it's usually an alarm going off
It is ADT...and I agree they should have it saying ADT.
Yes its ADT, you definately want to pick it up. They should make their caller ID say ADT, they only call if your alarm is going off.

It's ADT security, possibly calling regarding an alarm event at your residence or business. Assuming you have an ADT monitored alarm, you might actually want to answer this one.
