Many times these phone calls are terminated before you answer. Their telemarketing machines do this regardless if you answer or not. The objective for many of these telemarketers is to get name and/or number to show up on your caller ID. If those numbers show up on your caller ID, then they (telemarketing group) are paid small amount of money (it is small, but multiply that times 10,000 calls a day and you have a business). The process is called DIP charges and they are paid by the local carrier to a third party vendor who maintains some control over 911 databases and SS7 switches. They make deals with these telemarketing companies to call these phone numbers in order to get paid. The third party vendors get paid and they pay these telemarketing companies in order to offset the telemarketers' costs. But here is the clincher, there are companies that are set up to do nothing but call your number and hang up and they get paid for it. The phone companies can't stop it because they don't get dinged on the duration of the call, but if the call went through with caller name or number on it. Major cities around the nation are set up with these bogus companies that do this. It is legal for now and you and I pay for it to maintain the 911 databases. Some idiots have found a loophole and exploit it, thus raising our cost.
Lastly, if it is an 800 number or so (or if they ask you to call back an 800 number) then the telemarketer may be getting paid twice. The 800 numbers may go to a lata where long distance termination is higher than usual. Even though these calls terminated in a high dollar lata, most likely it is being shipped by VOIP to another area.
Now YOU know. We can make this country great again. Stop these thieves.

this number just called me 10 mins ago! and also didnt leave a voicemail!
Received call from this number. I hung up.
just keep filing with fcc/ftc till something gets done.
Unidentified Warranty Services (scammers)
I have wasted my day investigating these crooks. This exact same recording comes every day on my cell phone from all kinds of long distance area codes and 800 numbers across the nation. Here is what I have found: Telemarketing calls to cell phones are against the law. Period. Do not call lists will not help because these idiots are breaking the law anyway and know it. They don't care. They are "shotgun dialing" thru VOIP smokescreens, to numbers created at random, without regard or care for any list. They hide behind fake recordings when you call back to chew some ass. All telemarketers are required by law to tell you up front that they are selling something and who they represent. No recorded calls to cell phones allowed, by law, period. How does it make you feel to know that these crooks are bothering you every day, knowing full well that they are breaking the law, not caring at all, and getting away with it? I have called the FCC and FTC and filed complaints. They said they hear this all the time from people just like me. I asked why this nuisance has been allowed to continue for over a year. They had no answer. The only answer is to wring a business or company name out of the guy you get when you press 1, then file a lawsuit against that company.
called about warranty service. My wife and I are getting repeated calls. they must be using a sequential autodialer that tracks which cell phone numbers go through.
I imagine they will be selling those cell numbers for other scams.
These scum bags should change their speel to " This is your one hundred and eighty thousandth notification about your auto maintainance." The asses need to be stopped. How much does it cost Americans in cell phone charges to answer these stupic calls/

Here's the link to FCC complaint form: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm. Report the scammers.
THESE RELENTLESS TWATS KEEP CALLING ME!!! i like the police whistle thing, if I wasnt lazy i would buy one
i got this number 15 times one day within 2 min of activation of a new TRAC phone.. I think TRAC is involved somehow.
trying to sell warranty because mine is running out. duh like 30 yrs ago.
all from NAples FLA or atlanta.. not rocket science.
a hint here, carry a police whistle, if they call, blow hard. works for me the calling stopped..
We've linked this number to 800-219-7425
. Go to www.telemarketinglawsuit.com to find out more. Be sure to submit your information via the evidence entry form at www.telemarketinglawsuit.com/evidence-entry.
I called 866-315-1555
, Vehicle Services Inc, to complain about this number and 800-219-7425
. Both numbers spam my cell with warranty calls. Vehicle Services Inc apologized and agreed to have my name put on their no call list. I thought I was already on the federal no call list. I guess the rules don't apply to every one.
This number called me yesterday and today. How can stop it?
relentless. this needs to end
Obnoxious caller; on my cellular line.
FYI, I have T-Mobile and we have begun receiving these messages. It doesn't matter what carrier you have. All these scammers need is an autodialer and Voice Over IP and they can start blasting out phone calls to any phone numbers that they want. And since they're usually overseas, the Do Not Call registry and the FTC are totally useless. Isn't "globalization" great?!
Bother! Got this on highway.
I am so tired of these calls
I have gotten a call from these jokers many many times and every time is with a different Phone Number. It is very annoying and I wish these people would stop. It is always on my Cell Phone too.
Cell Phone User Jan 28th, 2009
I recently have been receiving phone calls from this number, never finding out who is calling or why other than warranty renewal. This number belonged to my recently deceased father, and I believe they are trying to steal his identity through the vehicle records. They should be found and punished.
In case you get someone hooked, have the following information ready:
- the first four (4) digits of a VISA/MC, with the next 12 numbers being random (they have ways to determine that the credit card number is not real, based on the first four digits, I believe);
- have a FAKE VIN number(s) for each of the vehicles you want to insure (ie: your riding lawn mower; Caterpillar bulldozer; etc)
- fake Name/Address/Phone Number, but this goes without saying...
This was so much fun, I think I'm going to try it again later, but call from a different "state", not Missouri...
Fred Hines Jan 28th, 2009
Called the following number --> 866-338-7877
- spoke to a pleasant gentleman named "Warren" who informed me that they "...can not provide extended car warranties for residents of the state of Missouri, where they are based...";
- his explanation was that if a customer became "unhappy" with their agreement and decided to go "postal ", well, you can understand that they would not want to be in the same area;
So, he was not able to provide extended insurance for my 8 cars as I am a "car collector", but he would make some calls and try to get me some other information:
- if that didn't work, best bet would be to continue to "shop-around" for other coverage
Call ended pleasantly enough, but man...I was disappointed! ;-)
FAKE INFO GIVEN:
- Name: James Frederick Hines...but all my friends call me "Fred"...
- Address: 745 Friedens Road
St. Charles, MO 63303
- Fake Phone Number: 636-757-7501
*NOTE* If this info looks familiar, it happens to be the same address as --> Federal Auto Protection Notification Center ;-)
Oh, and a caveat, in case you're looking to talk to these people...I made this call from work in a callcenter, and they were able to determine that I was calling *FROM* work:
- I had to quickly make up some story about travelling right now, but I *LIVE* in Missouri... *whew*
Fred Hines Jan 28th, 2009
Because I did not recognize the number, I let it ring, go into Missed Calls.
My experience with these callers is if you do not answer the call, they do not leave messages.
Then I Google the number, if Spam, I record it under New Contact as Spam.
http://cameo.livejournal.com/27361.html makes some great connections about these people.
Somebody stop these pricks! Now they're targeting cell phones and wasting our money!
I am tired of this shit happening on my cell phone is there some way I can stop it short of throwing my cell away?
These people have been calling me for weeks. I found this site and the discussion useful but how do I get them to stop?
I try to stay on the line especially when they call from the 800 number cost them money with me holding. I have asked to be placed on the "do not call" list. The calls continue! I don't believe they know anything about me other than my phone numbers, it's my mobile and not too annoying. I will try the Federal Do Not Call registry. In the mean time, DO NOT divulge any personal information to these scum.
I recived a call from this number but when I answered they hungup... called back and got a message saying this number is not in service but it was clearly not the one a telephone company uses.
Company name: Vehicle Services, Inc. - Vehicle Services Inc., of St. Peters, MO. - Website: vsiwarranty.com - they called my cell phone several times - 1st time, I asked who it was and they hung up. After several more, I pretended to be interested, then when they asked for a $2000 payment, they told me their company name. Info from MO Attorney General's office: http://ago.mo.gov/newsreleases/2008/030608.htm
Jacob was the "floor supervisor" for this call center. He would not give me his phone number or address but said he could give me a warranty for my car. He did say he was in Atlanta, GA. I gave him fake information to get to the warranty specialist.
That company is called "Vehicle Service Inc." out of St Peter, Missouri
their phone number is 866-925-1783
Demand that they have your name removed from the call list or commit to call this company and annoy them the way their telemarketer continues to annoy us! "Butch Jones" is the supervisor there...
If you ask me its more of a scam when the dealership makes 40o percent profit off of fixing your car!!! I wouldnt go a day without a warranty!!!!
warranty service don't answer. scam
You all are officially morons.. does anyone realize that there are over 200 registered warranty companies?? and there are over 1000 different marketing compaines who work for these companies!!! You are all a bunch of sheep!!! One person crys scam and then the rest of you do.. One person says a company that the calls are coming from and then the rest of you agree.. all without finding out for yourself!!! This so called vehicle services you are speaking of last seems to have resolved all of there 36 complaints they have had to the bbb in the last 5 years?????????? How is possible a company can be open for 5 years and still be a scam???? How would the company be a scam yet be able to resolve the complaints against them???? HERE SHEEP SHEEP SHEEP Time for some new dinner!!!! Its just on the other side of that cliff!!! Go and get it!!!! How about you people stop being retarded and do some research beyond what the last guy said!!!! I swear the stupid people just wont stop breeding!!!! And just so you know the 1-800-219-7425 number is to a marketing company that after investigating MYSELF, seems to outsource their leads to over 75 different warranty companies alone!!!! So instead of all trying to gang up on one company do some research you stupid people!!!!!
This is SCAM:
Waited on the line for the rep., after the automated message.
They have no idea if you have a car or not,
and of any details.
The lady a I spoke with refused to provide any details of
her company, or how to call her back, and just claimed this
is the 'warranty help desk'.
After asking her few more questions she hanged up.
By her voice, I believe it is the same lady that called before.
I have received 4 calls from this number over the last 3 months. It is an automated call system that claims to be selling extended warranties on vehicles. Requested each time that they remove my number but they have not.
this cocksucka have been calling for over a year. somebody arrest these low lifes

I bought a TRAC PHONE for the wife (10bucks) I had it exactly 3 min activated (10 min card) and these fucktards called ME!! Call from 800-219-7425 about the car warranty. Very annoying.
This caller called in Jan 20th. It started out as a warranty service but now it is a sex line. I appreciate it if they never call again
Babe Christ Jan 23rd, 2009
No message. They've called before.
Getting tired of these scum, with their "second warning" that my warranty is ending. I don't even have a car. When I tell them, they cut me off, yet they call me at least once a week. Something needs to be done to stop trash like this from wasting my time and minutes.
They call my cell multiple times daily...
Car warranty scam call. Filed report with the FCC.
I thought it was illegal (FCC regs) to call cell phones with auto dialing systems? Well my cell phone gets called by this 1-800-219-7425 on a regular basis about a factory warranty running out on a car I bought less than a year ago. Not only are they morons, if anyone has the company information with people's names in the company, please post it here. I'm thinking lawsuit and jail time will stop them.
I recently got a loan from Wells Fargo Financial, first time I used my cell number now I've received two calls from this 800 number, I was too busy to answer but I'll be watching from now on.
Missed call to my cell phone; no name, no message
Auto Dialer / IVR connected to a woman's voice. The woman hung up when I asked her company name in a challenging manner. The stated purpose of the call was offer me extended auto warranty. I consider this a harassing call to my cell phone. I was never given the opportunity to request removal from their call list. The caller ID number (800)219-7425 does not except an incoming call to request removal. Please assist
Scott Hild Jan 20th, 2009
Company calls repeatedly despite blocked number, leaves no voice mail, simply dead air, uses up my message center with calls that have no information nor ID.
They didn't leave me a voicemail. Anybody who receives a call from this number, especially on their cell phone, can file a complaint with the FCC by calling 1-888-225-5322
, or online at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm. It’s also a good idea to get your cell on the Do Not Call Registry. This can be done by calling 1-888-382-1222
from the phone you are registering, or it can be done online at http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/donotcall.

I have confirmed Wells Fargo has begun sharing customer info with these idiots. This group is actually AIG insurance calling with the fake numbers. I've closed all my Wells Fargo accounts as a result. Ive received countless calls trying to reduce my credit card rate, extend my car warranty, etc. I hate these ass holes.
Received this number on my cell phone caller ID. Did not answer it. Have received calls before and its always about an expiring warranty. Irritating as it uses up some of my set amount of monthly minutes. My cell phone is also through AT&T - did they sell a list of our numbers to this scam company? - maybe we should complain to them! This web site is really helpful, glad I found it.
Pressing two to be removed from the database does not work. Asking the rep to remove you does not work. Waiting to speak to a rep and then blasting a whistle in his or her ear may not work, but it sure feels good! I can't stop them from calling, but I can give them a splitting headache for their efforts.
i got a message....in my voice mail..saying.. this is the final call to close the file on your vehicle..press to 2 to follow up..
doesn't make any sense to me
If everyone call them once a day like your new customer but giving only fake info, make them loose money and see how they like it.
makethemstop Jan 16th, 2009
Received call today 01-16-09 but did not answer. It left no message just the # 800-219-7425. Called the number and a recording said the 800-219-7425 is a non-working number.
They call but never leave a msg its on my cellphone I a signed them there own ringer which in no ringer at all so now when they call my phone will not ring and I labeled them "Do Not Pick Up" They been calling this phone for months and my home line to but that's just for faxing there a pain in the ass when will they get the hint
I know this is a scam because I don't have a car!
Calls every day.need info to summons to court
I called back and the operator said the phone number is no longer in service.
Phone number does not work, hung up when I answered
No message left on voicemail.
call was for Auto Warranty Service. They would not give me the name of the company. The caller was very rude. I have played along a few times trying to get information, but when they sense this they hang up on you. They are using my cell phone minutes when they call
Kathy Harpster Jan 10th, 2009
recording states that my warranty is about to expire on my vehicle i receive this call every twoo weeks even though I am on the do not call registry and if you call back or ask for a supervisor they hang up on you and u reach a recording that says the numbe risnt in service. UGGHHH
Have asked several they remove me, both through the automated menu option and waiting for the rep and telling him, still calling. I have read other reports that this is a scam operation, specifically targeting the elderly. If you are on the National Do Not Call list, you can file a complaint with the FTC here https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. Please do, it only takes a few seconds.
these people have called several times spamming my work cell. They obviously don't know what cars I own...
aggressive, vulgar person
AT&T Has admitted to me the selling of cell numbers.
Called prepaid cell, get a clue scum a person with a prepaid cell isn't worth scamming! Or maybe you lowlifes want the fifteen dollars in my bank account? This is the kind of crap that makes normal people snap and sooner or later yours is coming you bunch of bums.
B.S. Company and B.S. call! scam all over it!
umguana kick Jan 09th, 2009
WTF.....called me on my pre-paid cell phone....I didn't answer because no 800 or 866 numbers have MY number. Can someone tell me how to register a cell phone number?
what is this warranty call any issue with this
I pressed one to speak to someone and I immediately told the guy to remove me from the call list and that I was sick of them calling me every day. He hung up on me so I tried calling the number back to only find out that it's a non-working number. I then registered on the do not call list at www.ftc.gov and called them to file a complaint. They told me that it's a scam and that they don't have a way to stop them from calling me. This is really ANNOYING!!!!!!
I have the truth about "Warranty Help Desk"
I will post all of their information in a while, so that those annoying calls can finally stop!
I have their address, REAL phone number, names of Owners, Managers & Supervisors!
I have their "script" that all of you people are most likely tired of hearing when you call them.
TRUST ME, i am an EX-EMPLOYEE of theirs. E-mail me @ WarrantyHelpDesk@yahoo.com for more info.
I will post actual scan images of their script incase people doubt me.
- The Truth About Warranty Help Desk
The caller is an absolute nuisance. I would not extend my car warranty with this lot, or have anything with them.
it was niggers calling to see if i was home. i'm in los angeles alot of burgularies recently.
kevin ohare Jan 07th, 2009
Didn't answer, called back, broken service.
My 11 year-old son gets calls daily from this number. Recorded message is "this is your last notice- your warranty is about to expire" or something to that effect. Like Casey, this is an AT&T prepaid phone, so especially disconcerting. Has anyone succeeded in stopping these calls?
Called and when I answered they hung up.
M. Williams Jan 06th, 2009
Miss the call, and picked it up twice asking about a car and im 15 so yea.. and you cant call back because its been "disconnected" 3 minutes after you call them and then they call you later in the day so yea idk im not picking it up again and i dont know how they got my number cause i got this phone less than a month ago. weird
I have no idea why I'm getting these calls. I don't even have a car, and I only use my cell phone, which I have listed on the Do Not Call Registry. Why aren't they being blocked? I only get an automated message; no live person, so I can't even tell them I don't have a car!
it said: ... was a second notification that my car warranty was to expire ...
- junk fone calls machine; bastards are running a car warranty scam. Can't seem to convince them to put my number on their do not call list. Telemarketers, who needs em?! These pricks call at 1AM Pacific, I'd like to SUE!
got this call and wanted to check this trusty site to see if others got calleby it also. happened today at 1pm.
and to gus, if they call your cell alot you can block numbors just leve a " ,&space " between numbers on the "security" then "restrict calls". the names on teh menues may be different on various cellular models and cellular companies.
They called and left a message on my cell phone. It's the car warranty scam that has been calling my home phone.
No message was left. I called the number and got a recording that the number was not in service.
