I get these calls every day on house and cell phone! getting sick of it!
Didn't answer but they left a message. This time they said they wanted to give me cheap health insurance. No company name given.
Warranty Solutions. I asked where they operated out of and the person on the phone said "Southern California". When I pressed for a city, she said she would take me off the list and quickly hung up on me.
Didn't answer this one, since I know what they want.
This company is Warranty Solutions. They use many different numbers plus caller ID spoofing, so don't go after the supposed caller without more proof. I've received six calls from them in 4 days this week. These numbers showed up on the caller ID this week -
I'm 14, and they say i have payments on my car that are due, and credit card payments as well, this is crap
what the hell is this number!? if its fake how did it get my number!? i never signed up for anything usin my phone number on the internet and i dont have a credit card! what the hell!? how'd they get my number!?
I just got the first call today from this number. It is interesting to me that I owe one payment on my Ford Vehicle and Ford is the only professional company (lender) who has my cell phone number, so, they would have had to have given out this number. Any other ideas???
both emails on their site and their contact form are fake!

Scammers – My phone is Virgin Mobile pre-paid and I never started getting calls until I started with them – never with tracfone! I think they give out the numbers so that the credits are used up faster – absolutely No One has this number – I never give it out!!! Anyone else with Virgin experiencing this?? There should be an investigation!!!!!
They called my cell phone and I did't answer
They (800-168-4861) called me on my Skype number, I did not answer.
FILE AN ELECTRONIC COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS NUMBER AT http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
Hopefully it will work & stop them from calling and harrassing all of us.
They have called numerous times and they call on my cell phone. Everytime I ask to be removed from thier list they hang up on me.
Robodialer trying to sell extended vehicle warrenty. What's most irritating is they call three or four times in a row like every other day. They don't seem to follow the do not call list!!
Another call received on my cell phone.

Got call on my cell phone at this afternoon. I had gotten an earlier call from 773-753-0974
, which is listed as somebody Greene in Chicago. Maybe they are the same scam. Not sure whether this will work, but I have added both numbers to a new name in my Contacts: First Name DO NOT; Last Name ANSWER. What a stupid waste of our time and money. It must work sometimes or they wouldn't keep doing it.
I wish these folks would stop calling me!
Just called me on cell phone (unlisted ATT #). I have received similar "car warranty" calls from 818/870-9108, 800/168-4861, 808/298-8950 all within the last month.

How very interesting that "Reply To Frnkln" rallied to the defense of a shady company that sends cards in the mail aimed at roping in the elderly and the easily confused. Nowhere on the card does it state that Dealer Warranty Services is not affiliated with any car manufacturer.
Perhaps the Dealer Warranty Servies employee needs to read this:
It's of course to be expected that scammers will troll sites such as this one.
In reading the bolg posted by Franklin, I called the number for Dealer Warranty and spoke with a very nice person who sounded shocked and very interested that their company's phone number and other contact information was being proved in a scam operation. I gave him a way of getting to this website so that he can read these bloggs for himself. Again, very interested and concerned, he is turning this information over to his manager. Evediently Dealer Warranty Services is a viable company but NOT part of the warranty scam.

Got a call from this number who is it?
I played the game of this vehicle warrantee SCAM with those pains in the butts and here is the information I got. It is interesting information. Do with it as you will.
I pretended that I really did want the warranty (yea right) and after being transferred to a real person (several times) I finally got to the root of it. In using vehicle information from a website from a fellow blogger, I was soon talking with a Warranty Specialist, Latoya. Latoya said the name of her company is Dealer Warranty Services. She explained the insurance policy. Further she said they use Summit Financial Bank and when you get the warranty you pay a $100.00 deductable and then they will use their credit card to pay for your vehicle repairs. For the warranty, the down payment is $150.00 at time of signing and then for 18 months it is payments of $132.06 per month. That is for a 2007 Honda Accord with 54,000 miles. This newly purchased warranty would kick in when the current (your real one) warranty expires. The warranty would expire in the year 2016 or an additional 100,000 miles. To call back and talk with Latoya one would call 1-800-581-1575
, she said to ask for extension 124.

"This is the second notice that the factory warranty on your car has expired." Who are these fools??
Federal Auto Protection
The company is called Feral Auto Protection: http://www.federalautoprotection.com/index-1.html
I had a long talk with them (acted like I was interested because pressing “2” does not work) and then got the guys name and cell number I talked to: Bob Montgomery 636-233-5183
Please feel free to call him and ask to be taken off the list.
Factory Warranty vehicle scam.
This number was on my cell; they said my auto warranty was expiring; press 1 to respond; press 2 to remove my name from their list.
Called my cell phone. Auto Warranty scam. Recorded message.
Calls my cell phone, i never answer if i dont know the number. But it is annoying, how did they get my cell number?
the calls come early and when you call the number back they go no where but to a voice prompot telling you the area code or telephone number is wrong hang up and check again before redilaing. no its more than just the same number now it multipel numbers comeing thru on both house and cell phone lines
No one answers when they call from this number. THey hang up. When you call back, it just goes nowhere.
Auto Warranty scam. Recorded message
thay need to stop calling me
just the number on my cell phone-didn't answer it
I just mark it as Ignore. I now have 21 numbers marked- between RX pharmacies, credit card interest lowering scam , and the warranty scam. BMo has the right idea with the telemarketing scam trap. However there are problems in doing this: the time involved to do go through all those girations with ALL these scammmers and secondly now you confirm youre a live being. Your number will now get on even more scam lists!!
Apparently I'm on a list too-- I get one or two of these a week. I say Ignore 'em! What else can we do?
Thanks for the fellowship, spammed-alike phone-owners!
I tried calling back and no one answers. They need to stop calling cell phones and wasting my minutes and time.
They called my T-Mobile Prepaid cell and I did not answer. They did not leave a message.

they are very unprofessional and can barely answer my questions reagrding the warranty. i think its a shame that people have nothing better to do with their time
no message, unable to call back
I have a new car and dont need or want this cheap annoying, unprofessional crap taking up my time and harassing me on my personal phone.
i've had several calls from here... my car is a 1993... i don't have a warranty anymore
please find ways to stop this people from bothering us
Called my cell phone, pre-recorded call. Lady trying to get my vehicle information since my "warranty is going to expire". Wow, I wouldn't want that to happen.... So which car? They don't trust you with that info? Then why should I trust you with that info. Supposedly works for "Vehicle Services", which is pretty generic and useless. Suggested I check my warranty and get back with them. Like just how? They have no name, no number, etc for Vehicle Service? What a pity that people actually fall for this garbage.
They're obviously just buying a list of phone numbers and calling without listening to the voicemail message. They keep calling my workplace and our message states that we are Community Mental Health. They're idiots!
called my cell phone, but left no message
how do i get them to stop calling me!? its irratating as fuck!
Just received a call a couple of minutes ago and this number was displayed.
Another one of these awful car warranty calls. I was connected to an operator and asked them to take me off the call list. She took my number down. I HOPE I get taken off instead of receiving more. These people need to die.

Yeah I just got the call from them, waited on hold to speak to someone as I don't have warranty coverage on either of my vehicles so I'm not sure what they want me to extend. I repeatedly asked the person I spoke with for their name, the company they worked for, etc. All I got was "Warranty Help Desk". When I asked to speak to a manager, I was disconnected.
pushing 2 doesn't work. They keep calling. GRRR.
This is an auto-dial "your factory warranty has expired" call. According to the message, you can push 2 to have your number removed.
this number called me twice and I do not know who it is.
I bought a TRAC phone, with in TWO FUCKING MINS OF ACTIVATION i get a call from these fuctards.. selling warranty for my car tellin me its expired.. duh yea about 30 yrs ago.. dont answer, I filed a complaint with the fcc..
sick person from a sick company - since there is no real reason why they call people i assume they get some commission from the phone companies
Today I received the fifth call from this company: Warranty Help Desk. During the last call I was hung up on when I asked for the comapny name and explained I had already asked them to remove me from their call list. The next call I receive will result in a small claims court suit.

They called 2/3/09 -my private cell that only few have EXCEPT it's on my resume which is on careerbuilder.com Anybody else post their resume there or similar?
Yep, they say the warranty on my car is about to expire. When I told them I don't even have a car they hung up. It was cell they called too.
I get calls from this number scam artists from 8001684861 and they just simply hangup
Just rec'd this call. Didn't leave a voice mail so must not be that important right? odd number. stars with "1"? I've been getting those "warranty" calls a lot lately. I hate that they call your "cell phone" so annoying. Not going to call back.

a drag: this is my private cell number, and I don't give it out to anyone. I did not answer after seeing the 800 on ID. How did they get this number?
No one said anything. Why do I even answer?
I get these calls all the time and as soon as you ask "what is the name of your company?" they immediately hang up on you. Today I asked the same question and the girl on the other end said "Warranty Help Desk". I said "The name of your company is "Warranty Help Desk"and that is on the sign out side the building?" She said "Yes". I said " I don't believe you and I hope that you can find a job with a legitimate company one day". She then said "Fucking Bitch!" to me. I said "Is that how you are trained to talk to customers, is anyone monitoring this call?" She said "YES!!!" and hung up! I would sure like to know who the hell these people are and have them shut down.
Called then hung up after broadcasting an annoying tone. Were I more paranoid I'd suspect them of using the phone system to datajack, except as far as I know the phone companies have taken measure to make that entirely more difficult than it used to be. (At one point you could get some phones to dump their memory to a high speed stream then hang up simply by dialing them and sending the right code over. A consumer rights lawsuit did away with that practice however.
they called talking about this is the second call to inform me of my car warranty has expired. Man they str8 trippin! LOL!!
These people are calling a corporate office about six to ten times a day and everyday. When I try to call the number back it says that it is not a working number. When I stayed on the line the girl hung up on me. I would love to know what BS this is.
