Kept the person on the line until they were flustered and gave me to their supervisor. After some pressing, an officious young man came on the line and when asked about the company name, he said it was "Extended Auto Warranty" (obviously, a genius at work here based on the name) and when confronted about a number, he gave me 1-800-905-1012. I called them after about 30 minutes and got someone who answered as 'Corporate Office' - when I asked their location, he said 'Plantation Florida' - when I asked if it was on the peninsula, he said "No, it's in the south". (IGNORAMUS FLAG!) After more pressing, he gave me the web site of http://theautowarranty.com - on that site, the address is listed as 1868 North University Dr. Suite 304, Plantation, FL 33322 - BUT their address for feedback is 3430 Sunset Avenue, Ocean, NJ 07712.

Their domain is hosted by GoDaddy and was created on May 8, 2007 with an expiration of May 8, 2009 - Have you ever heard of a company that only buys domains for 2 years?

Checking the whois database, we get the registrant:

shapiro, michael
mshap1@aol.com
1868 n. university dr.
#304
plantation, Florida 33322
United States

So.... there's the data from a little digging on the internet. Mr Shapiro, if you see this, realize that everyone your company calls knows who you are, where you are, and they have your phone number :)

Someone wrote this information on another phone number these idiots use!! I thought I would Copy and paste to maybe help other people expose these scam artists.

If you want to learn about the company behind this scam go to the web site www.heatherwithaccontservices.com where they are in the process of being exposed (company names, owners names, etc.). THIS is the information you need for reporting to the FCC, DNC your state's Attorneys General offices AND the Florida BBB and Florida Attorney's General office, because the company and its owner reside there. Reporting them using one of their fake business names (Account Services, Card Services, Consumer Services, etc.) or the spoofed numbers that show up on your Caller ID (they use different ones sometimes daily) will not result in action being taken, but if everyone reported the real company name (it's PHL International owned by American Debt Negotiators, both owned by a Ran David Barnea), then authorities have something real to act on.

Just go to the aforementioned website and you'll have what you need to know to help put a stop to these criminals.

Called three days in a row about my credit. I am on a National and State "Do Not Call List" and tried to get them to give me their information about the company they are calling from, but they will not. The calls cannot be traced and cannot be returned and they are disconnected. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. Checked with local PD and this is already under State investigation. I believe they are also using a telephone number of 772-664-4005, but I was not available to answer that call and that number is also disconnected.

About rate reduction
caller ID states SEBASTION, FL 772-664-4005
call made 4/30/08 @ 1:16 PM

I asked him what company he was with and if I was doing business with him.
When I asked what specific credit card account he was referring too (to reduce my interest rates)
he said it was related to all my accounts and "was I happy with my current interest rates"? I stated to
him I was on the CT no call list and that he was breaking the law, (I heard someone in the background say hangup on him)it was then that he called me a "douche bag" and hung up on me.

I've gotten calls from this company before.

They call all the time, suggesting they are from my credit card company. The recording says "there isin't a problem with my account, they want to lower the interest rate". If you want to sign up press 1.

I pressed 1 to tell them I'm on the Don't call list and the man who was handling the call told me "I don't care a F**K about your do not call list" he then hung up. I've reported the number to Do Not Call. If you try to call the number back you get a recording that states the number is "disconnected". It sounds like a recording on voice mail.

Unlike most people, I got a polite operator. First the msg from Heather, then I pressed 1 to speak to an operator. A woman came on-line immediately. I asked if she needed my credit card #, she said "no". She said she was from Financial Services, they work w/ CC companies to reduce interest rates. Then I "realized" that my debt was only a car loan, she tried to end the call by thanking me for my time. I interrupted her & asked to be put on their DNC list, she said "Will do" & asked for my phone number. (not that I believe they'll stop calling) I reported it to the natl DNC website. I have only had one other call from them, months ago from a different number & city. I live in a sparsely populated area, might be why I don't get many of these calls.

Report any calls from this number (which is faked, by the way) to here: http://www.fraud.org/info/repoform.htm
they will route it to proper authorities. it is an obvious scam for credit card and ID theft." This sounds promising, but NONE of the links on this page work. They don't even have a "contact us" link in order to tell them the links are invalid. THIS even sounds fishy!

These idiots called at 10AM to offer credit card financial advice.
I used their #2 option, to be removed from their call list.
Ha!
It didn't work when they called me a few days ago using a different Ph#: 305-595-9680
They have exactly the same promotional message. The bitch calls herself Heather.
"Hi, this is Heather from Account Services/Credit Card services..."
When I called back the Ph# is not in service of course, courtesy of Voice over IP or other service that permits them to use a FAKE Ph#.

These idiots have the following number where they respond: 800-861-8380, I mentioned that they called me from 305-595-9680 and they need to stop.
I told them I filed complaints with DNC.
They asked for my name in order to remove me from they stupid calling scheme. Ha !
They got nothing.
I would be happy to provide them with a bullet in their thick skulls !!!
Anyway, I sincerely hope they die !

This number along with a hand full of other numbers call my cell phone day after day. When I answer, it's a recording suggesting that I could possibly get a lower rate on my credit cards. I do not have any credit cards. I stay on the line, hit 1 to talk to a live operator. The live operator comes on the line - this time his name was Jim - I play along with him and suggest that I have credit cards with a combined balance of more than $4000. He begins to ask questions as to what company are these cards with (Visa, MC, etc.) and then asks with what bank are they drawn from. At that point I stopped asked him what the name of the company was because I didn't catch it the first - he states "Card Services" is the name of the company. I asked if this was a debt consolidation service, he stated that they were a company that works with banks to lower interests and help keep interest rates low for customers. I then informed him that I had the phone number, name of the company, his name, and that I did not have any credit cards. He then acted surprised with a BIG "OOOOHHHH" and hung up on me. These calls come from all over the country and when you try to call back or google it - it comes back that there's no such number. PLEASE BEWARE. I am currently trying to get this to stop so those who are having the same problem don't stop the fight!!!

Have called so many times. Have told them to remove me from the list, and then they hang up! (and this is on my business' line too!) It's on the do not call list. This time, I demanded to get the name from the guy who was on the line, who was Robert Thomas by the way. He said that the name of their company was "Account Services", but I doubt that was true. He kept asking if I had more then $3000 in credit card debt. I told him no, but that I wanted to be removed from their list. He said that they would put the number on their do not call list, which just seems illegal to me. Wish I could have gotten more information from the guy!

They don't care...all they need is a couple hundred people to do this and they'll end up making a cool $200 without lifting a finger! HANG UP, HANG UP, HANG UP! These folks are tied to ILD Teleservices 800-433-4518 who's the billing agent for Universal Voice Services 866-473-1980 who represent these scams.

I let the call go to the answering machine but they hung up. I don't even have any credit cards and I've been on the DNC list for 3 years.

When I hit "call back" immediately after receiving a call from this number
I received a message that this is not a working number or has been disconnected
and is no longer in use.

This is another from the infamous Florida-based gang known as 'Card Services' There are numerous reports on this site about the scam operation, using dozens of phone numbers if not hundreds. Report the incidents to the FCC as well, spoofing a phone number they call you from is against the DNC list laws as well as calling you if you are on it.

I answered the phone and it was a recorded message saying that I had won a cruise. I am on the "do not call" list, but these sleazeballs just ignore that.

They call about twice a month with a "lower your credit card interest rate" come-on, despite my having tried to opt out at least three times.

Got a call from this number. Turns out to be ""Heather from account services wanting to lower the interest rate on my credit cards". Got the same call from a kansas city number 305-595-9680. I called them back out of curiosity and got an operator (no foreign accent) claiming to be from account services for Visa and Mastercard holders. I asked him a few questions to see what he was about, but eventually got silence and a hangup.... What a load. Wouldn't you just love to know where these guys sleep at night?!

I got a call from them just today.

They want to sell an extended car warranty, without knowing anything about your car. Then they ask for the VIN from your car.

AS IF!

I get a least 3 calls from these rummies a week...I press 2 so they won't call back...they still call...I have put them on the do not call list and they STILL call...I am sick of them so I decided to have some fun and talked to a guy named "Dan"...I strung him along and he wanted my credit card number to see if it was current and would stay on the line with me and call my bank..I laughed and said what company are you with and my gosh...he hung up on me!!! I will continue to "mess" with them and maybe they will get a clue.

Same thing. Lower your credit card interest, blah, blah, blah .... Everyone should go to the donotcall registry and file a complaint. The more they get, the more likely they'll nail these SOBs. https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
