The usual credit card relief scam. I press one and call them every foul name I can think off. Probably doesn't help but it gets the point across. Lately they're apparently trained to act hurt and put upon. Screw them.
My family has been getting calls from this company for over a year. Last month I went along with the whole process and when I told the lady on the line the company must only be able to scam idiots she called me a "fucking bitch" and hung up on me. I filed a complaint with the do not call registry, which you can do if a telemarketer calls with an automated phone message. That still didn't stop them from calling. They called twice today.
Just got a call from 706.805.1775...selected "1", got a chick who asked if I was calling in reference to lowering my rates and when I asked where they were calling from because there were 3 people living in the house and which person did they want, the bitch promptly hung up in my face. I called back, selected "1" for a representative, got the VM and left them a scathing voice message, F bombs and all!!!! Told them, "How dare you phone me and when I ask a question you hang up in my face!!!!!! What kind of F'ing crap ass company is this????"
I suppose requesting to be put on their do-not-call list is pointless so I promptly called the DO NOT CALL # to update my status.
When the representative came on the line and asked me if I owed $2000 or more in credit card debt, I said this was a Do Not Call number, and she rudely said, "You'll get over it!" and quickly hung up.
IF YOU LIKE TO GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO COMPLETE STRANGERS, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!
Saw caller ID as 706-805-1775. I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.
Keep receiving unsolicited calls from 706-805-1775. Sometimes call is a recording, sometimes it is a live call, other times just silence with people talking in background. I tell them remove my number from their call list, but the calls keep coming. I am committed to vote against every incumbent in office until someone is elected who has the balls to put an end to telemarketers and scams by prosecuting, fining, and imprisoning everyone involved with these scams. I sincerely hope every individual involved find themselves in prison for twenty years and are subjected to daily anal exams from their fellow inmates. Filing complaints with the FTC and state agencies is a waste of time because they have no interest in putting an end to these scams. These programs and every person employed by these federal and state agencies should be terminated. STOP WASTING MY TAX DOLLARS! GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASSES AND EARN YOUR KEEP!
No message...just a hang-up
Received another call from this number as well. Cardmember Svcs. 12/6/13 @1:47PM Another telemarketing call!!!
Amy, the human, said she was in Wilmington, DE. Filed an FCC complaint.
Called my home phone Dec. 2 and left message indicating it was our last chance to take part in the federal stimulus program. CID: "Card Member Svcs." Reverse lookup indicated call came from Ringgold, Georgia
Hope for a drone strike somewhere in Florida! Seriously the guberment needs to stop their bickering and at least make phone number spoofing a Federal offense.
This outfit calls at ridiculously early time of the day and they hang up when my answering machine comes on. We are on the do not call list but that seems to be a joke as one telemarketer, debt collector company, security system, etc., continues to call at will. I don't owe anyone money except our mortgage and that is through a local bank. I am not interested in any "stimulus money, I do not want a final notice (they always say that). How can we stop them from calling especially at odd hours of the day and night?
GOT CALL FROM THIS NUMNER, NOBODY SAID A WORD TO THE ANSWERING MACHINE, SO AM DELETIGN AS I ALWAYS DO.
Rachel at Card Member Services with her second and final call (for the 500th time) about reducing my credit card debt. Looks like they are shooting for some fake legitimacy by actually putting their alleged company name on the caller ID. Nice try but this group even gives scammers a bad name.
Robo said something about 2nd notice to save money on credit cards. I clicked "1" to be connected. After connection to a person, I asked who they thought they were calling and they hung up. I called back to the caller id number and a message asked me to click "1" to be removed. We'll see if that does anything about these scum, who call from different numbers several times a week.
Yet another "very important message" about credit card debt. The recording sounded like the same voice, but from a new (to me) number. My caller id said unknown caller, and the calling number had 01 in front of the area code.

I get very few scam calls on my cell phone. I answered this one to have my number taken off their list. After the recorded message about lowering my ccrd balance they said to push 1. When I got a live person they asked if I was responding to the c crd offer. I said yes. Then they asked me about my balances I started to ask if they could take me off their calling list but then they hung up on me. When I called the number back, a recording said, "If you would like to be placed on our "do not call list" press 1" So I did. Then a voice said, "the do not call is activated." We will see if that works.
Robocall...message about "last chance to take advantage of stimulus."

they left no message, so probably not legit.
This is what the FCC has to say:
We Are Unable to Accept Your Complaint
We are sorry, but we cannot accept your complaint. The number you entered, 706-805-1775, had not been registered for 31 days when you received the unwanted call.
Note: If your area code has recently been changed and you receive the message "Grace period has not expired" when you attempt to file a complaint, submit your complaint under your old area code.
Please print this page for your records.
This number has called me numberous times. The recorded message says i have 24 hours to take advantage of lowering my credit card interest before the Obama Stabilization Extension RUNS out. When I press #1, they ask me,
Reported as a violation of the DNCL
Are these scammers still able to operate?
If the Feds can not or will not shut them down, some please go club them all to death with a baseball bat. Even if you get caught, even if you get prosecuted, no doubt someone on the jury will have gotten calls from these scammers and will nullify the jury out of gratitude.
No message ... just a hang up call.
I pressed 1 for more information about "lowering my rates"; after a hold of about a minute, a male answered and asked if I was responding to the offer of lower my rates; when I asked to be put on their do-non-call list, the call disconnected.
I won't worry about the scam. The other scam is the do not call list. The telemarketers want you to put your number of there because it's only good for 5 years. Then after 5 years your number goes on the list sent out to the telemarketers, you can call them now. See how it works?
These idiots keep calling back! They'll use a different number and I don't even have a credit card. Shows up Cardmember Svcs

SPAM hiding legitimate "cardmember services" posts.
It's that old Cardmember Services "lower your credit card interest rate" scam, a trick to steal credit card nos. The gov't prosecuted the gang doing this. Now (in Oct 2013) there is a new outbreak, so someone very brazen is repeating that old crime.
DID NOT ANSWER...no message left...these calls just keep coming and coming ...the government can not or will not end them
This number is from Card Holder Services. I don't have any credit cards. My number is on the do not call list. The caller identified himself a George. He sounded like a George to me. This so called company calls from a different number everyday. I'm tired of reporting these scam artists to the government and the phone calls keep on coming. Guess it's time to buy a canned air horn...again.
I was getting these on my home phone, now I'm getting them on my cell! I'm on Do Not Call list!
I just got a call which I will add to my block list. I will now get no ring but will get a list of blocked calls on my phone.
I have the Panasonic cordless telephone Model kx-tg6842b (2 handsets)
You can block 250 numbers plus kill the one ring that existed on earlier models that only allowed 30 blocked numbers.
The one handset model sells for $70 at Amazon.
Robo calls which then fails to answer- Everyone reading this note should call the FTC. If the FTC gets enough calls it will motivate action on their part!
Looks like Rachel from Card Holder Services is alive and well and still offering to lower my credit card rate. Darn, I was hoping she would at least get sick enough to lose her annoying voice. Can't imagine there are enough stupid people around to make this scam profitable but I guess there are. Anyway they have apparently set their computer dialers to start playing their recording as soon as the line picks up whether it is picked up by a person or answering machine. In that case they aren't even checking for the three tone phone company line disconnected message that I play. Only thing that can be done at this point is report the call to the FTC. They do in fact catch these people(?) over time but it helps if they get as many complaints as they can. Unfortunately the scammers are back up and running within a month but the respite from their calls, even for the short term, is nice. The best way to shut them down is for people not to buy into this scam. No profit - no reason to make the calls.
I received a call and when I asked them about it the woman from Cardmember Services cussed me out! I have called my phone company and blocked their number and would recommend everyone do this also. This company needs to be reported by everyone to FCC!
These calls in the past have come from many different locations.
Got a call from 706/805-1775 while I was out. Caller ID said Hartwell, Ga. If its a card member service, I have received these call before about my credit cards. When I asked what card they were talking about, they hung up on me. Its just another telemarketer who don't give a rats a** about the do not call registry. Don't look like the FTC or FCC will do a damn thing about the scum who are trying to steal from us over the phone. I get calls every day from these low life bums and don't look like we can do anything about it. Thank you Federal Government for all your help, don't know what we would do without you!
Another location for the continuing scam of "getting a lower interest rate" on credit cards. Recommend that those getting these calls inform the FTC (see connection below) in order to build the file of complaints. I do and I will! We also need to support legislation that increases significantly the fines and penalties for recurrent violations of the DNC registry.
