no car dealership sold any numbers, so you guys should stop complaining. I've been getting calls for like a year now, and i STILL don't own a car. My brother (whose number is 1 digit away) gets the same call seconds after me; clearly they just ring numbers in order.

Every now and then I get calls on my voice mail that meet this description. The voice says "....don't make the mistake of driving without...?. I was wondering if it is possible to sue the phone company that enables these phone calls (lucre inc). I called the lucre corporation listed below and the guy who picked the phone accepted that the phone calls were originating with one of his clients. He took down my phone number and promised to contact the client that my number is not called. I told him that if it happened again, I will take legal action against him.
If you get this garbage on your phone, make sure that you call lucre.

Car warranty scam that also calls from 949-256-9161
. Second time they've called my cell. No idea how they got the number because my car is a 1980 Mazda with no warranty and no outside repair work done in several years. Also, I don't give my cell number to businesses. Unless Tracfone, themselves, or someone working at Tracfone sold it, I'm baffled.
This is a phishing scam and I have a suggestion for all of the folks here. If your complaint is not being heard you should send a non violent email to the source of the issue. The Company that supplies the phone line. This is a standard complaint email. "To Whom It May Concern; I am writing your company to explain the issue of your phone lines being used for Illegal Purposes known as Phishing Scams. The number listed in this e-mail is attempting to gather personal information by portraying themselves as a Warranty extension company. They have asked for bank account information and home addresses. I Do not want to hold your company liable at this time but your providing this telephone access to this "company" may border on cooperation with them to make a profit from the same monies that will be stolen from their "Customers" this would then make your company an accomplice in this scam, and may be actionable. Your best act is to remove access to this company for their attempt at Fraud and coercion. Thank you for your efforts in stopping Tele-fraud." As you can see there is no intent made but a warning is given. This can be followed up and verified with a standard response from the phone company. Look to the internet my friends you can take this all the way to the top if you search well enough. Remember what the Fans of "Jericho" Did?

Here is the company from where that # comes from.. give THEM a call
4011 Plainfield Ave. N.E.
Grand Rapids, MI 49525
Automated call, coming on all lines (cell, home - on do-not-call list, work, ...) over and over again.
"This is the second notice that the factory warranty on your vehicle has expired...".
This is spam at its worst. How come they are still operating?
first time had one from this place, looked it up on 411 results, not sure if the Lucre is a surname?
Lucre, Tekonsha, MI.
did not pick up-- searched and found this is a: LUCRE in Tekonsha, Michigan
suspect it is anothe warranty scam -- they must pass our numbers around once they get them from auto repair etc. we have unlisted number-- this started back when my Honda went in for Repairs to the Dealer. :((
Just another telespammer. How do I get rid of these people?
Extended car warranty recording
just got this cell phone and # for christmas. started getting calls from this number...pressed the number to unsubscribe from these calls and yet again today i received another one!! bleh!
Recorded call to my cell phone about expired auto warranty.
Same thing, "your warranty is about to expire blah blah blah. My damn Ford deal sold (I presume, I doubt they gave it away) my info. Every time we take a vehicle in these calls start, to the number we give them to contact us when it is ready.
Originated from 517-931-2251
, then gave me an 866-514-7786 a voice recording asks if I wanted to be removed from their calling list to push #1 or if I wanted to speak with a operator. I push #1 to be put on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Call but did not leave a message.
didnt answer, left no message
for the car warranty. tried to keep them on the line. they hung up when i probed...tired of this
they called me from this number on my cell phone and using a pre recorded voice and tried to sell me a car warranty.... Illegal isn't it.... they used a automatic dialer and prerecorded voice to solicit me!
these people should stop this idiotic nonsense i say that because it is supid!!!
mad person Jan 19th, 2009
I didn't pick up. Voicemail was a prerecorded message of a woman saying: "It's not too late! Don't make the mistake of driving without a warrantee. This is the final call before we close your file. Press 1 to speak to a representative..."
Note: this is the third time that I have received this recording in my voicemail in the past five weeks.
I got a call from this number on my CELL PHONE and was busy at work. When I was able to call them back, it would ring 2 times and then send me a busy tone. I tried to call the number from 2 different phones and it happened each time. Seems that they are calling cell phones more often than anything else.
I would suggest playing along with these people and giving them some false information. Since they are trying to screw us, lets screw with them a little
This number calls me and leaves a voicemail about my "Expiring Warranty" at least once a month for the last 6 months.

I have received a call from this number (Caller ID: Michigan) twice during school hours. I don't recognize this number and when I tried calling back twice with a blocked number the phone rang twice than went to busy signal.
Very upsetting that my cell phone number seems to become an easy access for telemarketers if that is the case.
Telemarketer to cell phone. Expiring Warranty Program....So tired of this.
pretended to be interested, gave them fake info, they said they would transfer me to a "specialist", then I got disconnected anyways.
Keep trying to get them to stay on the line, and get some information out of them. Remember, it costs them money to have people talk to you.
i have got 4 calls form this stupid person and if they call back ,because they stay one the phone for like 5 whole minutes, i am gonna put the police on the other line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So thanks for reading please comment back and report this stupid caller.....

Warranty Services. I have asked to speak with a supervisor three different times, and they hang up on me. You cant call them back, and they are using my cell phone mins. I am to the point of going in there with a baseball bat.
This is a scam telemarketer - If you asks anything but what they want, they hang up.
Joe Delgado Jan 05th, 2009
was a telemarketer recording - woman's voice - informing me that the vehicle warranty on my car was about to expire - the 2nd notice. The call was made to my cell phone.
