Got another call from them today. I pressed 1 because pressing 2 does no good. When I got the operator on the phone and asked what I have to do to get taken off of his list, he said I had to be more persistent. I asked how, and he told me to stick my phone up my vagina. Klassy. CLEARLY a scam.

another scam. the best way to handle these calls is push 1 to talk to a representative then go along with the scam. keep them on the phone asking questions as you can. when they ask for your credit card number or name give them a phony one just like they are doing to you. the longer you keep them on the phone like this the less likely they are to call you back because the are looking for suckers. make them the suckers

Have been getting the same warranty messages as well. When I stay on the line and ask the person that's calling what company they're from, they hang up immediately. None of the three numbers they call from can be called back. 506-226-4564, 506-221-4567, and (506) 227-4568

Asked to be placed on the "do not call list", was hung up on. When number is called it comes up as not in service.

I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT EACH & EVERY ONE OF THESE CALLS IS EITHER FOR A CREDIT CARD SCAM OR AN AUTO WARRANTY SCAM.

Credit Card Company wanting to lower you interest rates. When you inform them that you do not have credit cards they rudely hang up on you. When you called the number back it is not a working number.

1:00 pm Eastern time. Caller ID said New Brunswick. I do not know anyone there, so I figured it was something stupid. I answered and an automated message said something like "This is your last chance to lower your credit card rates! Credit Card Services can help! Press 1 to speak to one of our representatives..." (there was more, but I pressed 1 just to find out what this really was. After holding for about 20 - 30 seconds, a woman came on and identified herself as Natasha. Before she could get another word out, I said, "I don't have any credit cards. You need to remove this phone number from your list." Before I got the last 3 words out, she hung up. I really don't have credit cards... I have debit cards, which have NO INTEREST RATES. I feel this call was a phishing scam. I urge extreme CAUTION. Do NOT give your credit card numbers to someone who calls YOU. If you call them, and you know who they (the company) are, that would be a different situation. But if someone calls you wanting your credit card number, DO NOT GIVE IT OUT!!!

I'm pretty sure this was fraud. They claimed to be form an extended auto warranty company but would not supply a phone number for me to call them back and when I asked for a manager I got some dude who said his role was to "stand outside holding the sign but sometimes they let him come in an talk on the phone".
