I received a call from this number today. When I listened to the message, he claims to be calling about my ProActive account which I had cancelled the day before and stated I wanted to pay on a bill I am supposed to owe To ProActive. Yesterday, the young woman claimed she could not get anyone from the business office online so someone would call in the next 48 to 72 hours. The message today said I should call an 866 number. I no longer believe I’m working with a bonafide company so whoever this is will just have to continue to send threatening emails. I’m sooo tired of scammers.
She is a weiner!!!😂NO JOKE😂AND SHE IS SOOOOO CREEPY!!!!!!!!!
it was my friend Jake.

I purchased a Proactiv 90 day kit through e-bay and was automatically signed up for the official Proactiv membership with automatic shipments without my consent. There was no information given by the seller that I would be signed up for a Proactiv membership and thought it was just a one-time shipment from an independent seller. I called Proactiv up, got the number from their official website, and they said if I canceled I wouldn't receive the product since it hadn't been shipped yet but I was telling him that I was holding it in my hands, and to cancel the order. A little later I got a call from this number, and I let it go straight to voicemail, from someone supposedly from Proactiv and wanted to talk about continuing my membership. I got another call again and they left a voicemail again but the message, which you could somewhat hear, was being out volumed by what sounded like a scratchy, radio noise/signal.
i just randomly got the number called to me
Ok so I looked up online and it said this phone number was cursed
Later in the night before we got the phone call from are phone call my brother heard a knock coming from are sliding glass door that leads into the deck then into the yard then he checked nothing there then a few minute later when I had just woke up we received a phone call he said it was 444-444-4444 or something like that then he checked again nothing I will update you on further info
Gunthy Renker. Infomercials for creams and products alike seem to all be sold by them.
This call was from our employee alert system.
Massachusetts May 01st, 2017
Caller said he was from U.S. Government and had $7000.00 grant for Me.
Crank caller. Try calling from a real number then maybe I'll answer. Consider yourself blocked Bozo.
I got a call from this number and they also left a message. The message was from a representative at Guthy-Renker wanting to know how I liked the products I recently purchased. I did recently make a purchase from one of those infomercials, so I assume this is legitimate. I made the purchase on-line and I cannot recall wether I gave them my cell phone number or not, but I most likely did when making payment. I think Guthy-Renker does ALL those infomercials and "as-seen on tv" sites, so this seemed legitimate to me. I think they were probably more interested in selling me stuff than actually caring how I liked my purchase, so I did not return the call.
Automated message left, identified as Merchant Services International, went on to wonder if business currently accepted all major credit cards.
I answered the call on the first ring. The caller hung up immediately. *69 revealed the number 205-444-4444. I called the number, and the receptionist answered "Freedom Heating and Cooling." They were cold calling to sell services. When I asked the salesperson if they were somehow exempt from the national Do Not Call List, she responded they were not. She said they get their names from a company who supplies them with a list. She offered to take my name of the list. When asked if this company continues to send updated lists, she responded they did. When I asked how taking my name of the current list would somehow keep my name from appearing on the new list, she had no idea.
They rang us (a business) but when I picked up it was a robo-voice auto playing that they "have the best pricing for any service available", yet no specific service was mentione They have called 4 times in the past three hours. When I googled their info I got:
Merengue Cargo Shipping Inc
86 Mclean Avenue
Yonkers, NY 10705-2483
This was an automated message plugging a weight loss solution. The robot lady asked that I press 1 if I or anybody I knew wanted to lose weight. Or, press 8 to be removed from their database.
I guess 4 is my lucky number. When I listened to the voicemail all I heard was "press 8to be removed from the call list"
They've called my number off and on for years. They are listed on whitepages.com as Freedom Heating & Cooling 630 20th St N, Bessemer, AL 35020
Strange this number started calling when Portfolio Recovery the junk debt collectors (whom I never answer) started calling along with the 444-4444 number. I'm sure they are connected somehow.
Wanted to update our information for yellow pages, we had cancelled our yellow page subscription and yet they are still calling us wanting to update it. We have told them to stop calling and that it is now harrassment, they hang up on us in mid-sentence then call agin the next day.
Earlier today I got a call from 444-444-4444
, this evening it's 333-333-3333. Both on my cell phone. I did not answer.
I was reading this article called Twenty Five Little Known Telephone Tips for Private Investigators and when I read tip #16 I decided to give it a try so I called the first number which is to the MCI Network and MCI's Network said that their Caller ID said that I was calling from number (214) 446-0482. So I hung up and called right back and this time the MCI Network gave me my correct phone number. So I waited a couple of hours and called the MCI network number again and again their Caller ID said that I was calling from (214) 446-0482 I hung up and called right back and again I was given my correct number again. I have pasted a copy of tip #16 below.
"Know The Number You Are Dialing From" Tip Sixteen:
These are known as ANAC numbers which are used by telephone repair people. Here are some national ones certainly reported. 800-444-4444
Said he was calling from Sprint (at 0:50 Sunday morning). Said I wasn't interested and hung up. I'm on the Do Not Call List.
Call from Sprint stating that I won a free phone. After identifying that my number is on the Do-Not-Call list, the caller hung up immediately. I received another call later that day. Leaves no message.
I just got a call from this number around 7:15 this evening. They left no message.
I've started getting these calls. I let the answering machine get it but nobody leaves a message.
No message,I picked it up and hungup...And each time they do it. I'll do it again.
Just call 317-444-4444
and keep hanging up or complaining. At least it will make you feel better.
lots of calls, never a message
A call came from this number, but the message that was left, was for 800-580-8450
. Thought that that was pretty interesting.
The first time I received a call from 444-444-4444 they said they were from Sprint. I obviously didn't buy it. For the next couple of days I would get calls from the number, but it seems to have stopped.
tried to get me to give out personal information, said i was getting a free phone
leaves no message. calls several times a day. when you pick up no one is there.
you can put in any number when you block with caller id, this number i believe "ELITE" is doing just that to try and get someone to answer phone. they are a ruthless collection agency.
