, I am on a "no calls" list. Stop calling or I will tke further actions
We haven't had a credit card since 2001 and never want one again. Tired of these people.
I tried calling back, just to see what would happen. They know people are pissed, because they have prompts to have your phone # removed and to contact the regulatory agencies about the calls. (Yeah, like I'm going to give them my phone # so they know it's a live #!)
The FCC has actually offered a significant reward for anyone who can come up with a way to stop these unwanted calls.
The FTC and DNC list is a joke.... Cut the FTC and DNC budget and let the private sector go after these bozos. They will be shut down in a week. Instead, we continue to fund a joke of a govt agency with $100K+ salaries and we still get the calls! Thank you for voting Barack and his butt buddies so they can continue to cry about how children will get hurt from reducing government when the truth is big government lazy workers are the only ones that would get hurt if the budgets were slashed!

Press 1 to find out more info on lowering your credit card before the next billing cycle. Don't delay as this is the last and final opportunity to save!!! Blah Blah Blah.... Scammers!
Reported as a DNCL violation.
Caller ID says "Lower Interest." They did not leave a message which usually means telemarketers, etc...
The FTC, which your taxes support, is supposed to stop these calls. The FTC, which your taxes support, does nothing. The FTC is in turn protected by the politicians YOU reelected last November. Stop whining. If you voted to reelect anyone, or didn't vote at all, Rachel owns you. We have eliminated smallpox. We have reunited Berlin, and removed the Wall. We have walked on the Moon. We have ended Polio. We cannot get rid of Rachel. Ironic, isn't it?
The recording said they are from my credit card company. I pressed 1 to talk to someone to let them know I am on the do not call list. When the girl answered, she asked me if I have credit card debt over $3000. I told her no and she hung up on me!
I did not answer this call; it was listed as a "missed call" on my phone this morning. They apparently called at approximately 10 a.m. I did not recognize the number so I looked it up on the internet and found this website. If I see the number again I will again ignore it. I hate these scammers!
They never leave a message. To me that is dishonest.
Credit card scam. Funny thing is they always say this is your "final notice" to take advantage of the offer, yet they call constantly.
Credit card scammer. Calls several times a day
This was the usual recorded message about lowering my credit card interest rates. The recording said "press 1 to speak to an operator", which I did, but the recording continued. I pressed 3 to be taken off their list. (This wasn't offered as option on this call, but was an option on earlier calls.)
When I pressed 1 again, then 1 again, the recording stopped and the line hung up.
I have gone to the extreme of NOT setting up the voice-mail on my cell phone so that I don't have to deal with all this crap. I get calls weekly with the caller ID simply coming up as a state, eg. Missouri, Montana, whatever, and I don't answer the call. My new cell has the option of adding them to a blocked list, and I do that also. The downside is that legitimate callers can't leave me any messages.
calls at least a couple days a week. I have put their number in my phone "zapper"...rings only once on my end and hangs up on theirs.
Make them an ad on Craigslist then; say they're looking for some bedroom action. Bombard THEM with calls.
I am getting sick of these calls. Do not call list is not working for them. Apparently they do not care. I keep telling them not to call again, and they hang up on me and call again.
Someone needs to put these places out of business, if they really have any.
Reported to the FTC. Suck it you scamming pukes.

THEY CALL MY NUMBER EVERYDAY. PLEASE STOP CALLING THIS NUMBER!!!!!!!!!
How do I stop these annoying calls? I am listed with the DO NOT CALL Registry, home & cell. Get calls on both phones.
I am getting calls from this number too. Do not waste your time reporting to "Do Not Call" registry. Instead to to the FTC do not call website and fill out the form. I hope to get a lot of money from this firm violating the do not call laws!!! Joke is on them. Bunch of losers

This scam calls with an automated message stating that this is your last opportunity to lower your interest rates and that your rates will go up if you do not press 1 to speak to a representative. They do not have an operator on the line when this message is played as required by law. Once you get to an operator, the operator initially refuses to provide a phone number or address, claiming that they will lose their job if they comply with Federal law and provide that information when requested. When pushed, they provide the phone number of the InterContinental Hotel in Austin, TX and the and a non-existent Dallas street address. Their provision of manifestly false information clearly confirms that they are a scam.
Was on the line when this call came in and I did not take the call
I pressed the number to speak with their customer service rep. When I was connected, I asked to be taken off their list. He told me I had to call a 1-800 number to be removed. When I asked what the number was he said " the number I need to call is 1-800-BULLSHIT". He then disconnected the line. I get calls about 4 times a week on average. Its been going on for about 2 months. I've reported them twice to the FCC but I don't expect much to happen.
Persistently annoying recordings to our "Do not call" #. "Option" to not receive future calls useless. Reporting them to state attorney general's office. These kinds of calls are illegal here.
Credit Card services that claims to lower interest rates through scare tactics. This is a Scam.
4th one this week. Exact same recorded message all from different caller ID phone numbers.
Likely credit card interest reduction scam.
They left a message. A woman named Rachel offered to lower the interest rates on my credit card. This is a scam. To opt out of the calls she said to press 3. This outfit calls from different numbers. I have pressed 3 on calls from other numbers and they just call me from a different number.
Did not answer, but caller ID shows something very strange: V023-112-4270
015. I get calls from this number, with this strange caller ID, several times a day. I never answer, they never leave a message.
S.O.S. These are some of the most persistent sob's I've ever seen. They call and call and call and they NEVER get an answer. They just keep leaving same old message on answering machine. I pray it is the last chance to lower my interest rate and they will go away FOREVER!!!!
The phone identifies them as Qualcord Credit", their own tape as "Rachel from Cardholder Services", and the live operator, when I asked him, as "Account Management Assistance". The number is different, but the tape is identical, to several "other" robocallers, obviously the same company with multiple phone lines or multiple spoof identifiers. They start immediately by asking how much credit card debt I carry, how many credit cards I have, etc. Of course I tell them lies and wait for the next question.
Yes, I'm on the National DoNotCall List, and I've reported these people about six times to the DoNotCall Registry, which is clearly a joke: I get about 15 robocalls a week, most of them from commercial outfits. Even if such people get stopped and fined under one name, their profit margin must be quite enough to call that an operating expense and keep right on going.
The law needs real teeth in it. I'm disgusted.

That's nice, but the credit reprice scam calls are illegal whether or not you have DNC-registered numbers. Verbal demands and keypresses are not going to stop criminals with autodialers in any case. Those false ''opt-out'' provisions are only there to create an illusion of legitimacy.
Here's a link to a site which helps explain the scope of the problem and why the credit reprice scammers are hard to control:

This is a recording that calls every other day harassing me to death. I only get messages off this line. It thinks it has a live person & says press 1 to get a low mortgage rate or press 3 to stop the calls. I can't get them to stop because I don't call out on that line.
I'M ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST.
Didn't answer. They hung up when answering machine picked up.
One of four I got on that day - under four different numbers! Rachel is sure busy!
Card holder services illegal robo call There's no problem currently with your account but it is urgent that you contact us considering lowering your interest rate to as little as 6.9%. Your eligibility expires shortly so please sider this your final notice........
These people are criminals and this is a scam. If you answer the call, you are verifying that the number the caller reached is a real, working number. Your number will then be sold to other scammers. DON'T ANSWER! And don't press a number to be added to their Do Not Call list. If the Mafia called, and you asked to be placed on their Do Not Call list, do you think they would comply?
Didn't answer; didn't leave a message!
The recording gives you an option 3 to not get any more calls but it doesn't help. The calls are every couple of days.
Tells me they are my credit card company, that there is not a problem with my account but I need to call them
Received call offering lower rate on credit card. Pressed 3 to be removed and then received an identical call a couple hours later from a different number.
Beware, yet another phishing scheme from "Rachel" and company at "Card Services".
