IF they keep calling, get a hold of s whistle, specially those that are semi-pro. When they call again, pick up the phone with the whistle in your mouth and blow on it as hard as you can..LOL!...I did it last night to one of the many phone numbers that RPM has...they have not call this morning at all, and usually they call about 5 to 7 times a day...let's see who is hurting...

I called back on the number (410-202-0027). They said they were some colection agency. I hung up to avoid their curious questions about my identity.

I recieved 7 calls from this company in one day. I answered one of them but no one was there. I stayed on the line for a minute to see if it would connect but was hung up on. I called the number back and after being on hold for a good amount of time a very rude lady answered the phone. I told her that the number had been calling my house non-stop and that I either wanted to know what the calls were about or for them to take my number off their list. She asked for my number and I gave it to her and then I asked what company she was with and her name. She then got very snippy with me and asked who I was. I told her to take my number off their list and then hung up. 30 minutes later they called again. Again I answered and no one was there. I called back and told them that if they called my house again I would report them to the FCC. Now they're calling my cell!

Does anyone know what this company does?

I called back and was switched to a rude lady that asked if I was who I am and then asked for my s.s. number. When I replied that I would not give that to her unless she could tell me whom I supposedly owe money to, she hung up on me. They call 2-5 times a day both home and cell phones. Will let the phone ring twice and hang up.

(5) Is the prank caller from a telemarketer? The single most useful tool to stop telemarketers from calling you is placing your number on the Do Not Call Registry. You can place your cell phone and/or landline number on the list through http://www.donotcall.gov (be sure to acknowledge the confirmation email) or call 888-382-1222 and follow their directions.

All persons with a U.S. phone account are allowed to have their phone numbers placed on the Do Not Call Registry. Please allow 31 days from registration confirmation before telemarketers to cease calling. Registry enrollment is valid for 5 years.

(6) Get an "inbound call blocker". This is a screening tool that allows you to select who you receive phone calls from by giving them a special code along with your phone number. There are also numerous similar products that screen and block inbound calls. Check out some products at http://www.commandcommunications.com/index.php and http://www.privacycorps.com/products/.

This is the number you need to call to get OFF the list. In my case they had the wrong number for whoever owes them money. I didn't know the person they were looking for.

These people are driving me insane. I have yet to speak to a human; they call, a recording comes on telling me to wait and then they hang up. And I've never done business with MCI or AT&T either.

I reported them here to the Do Not Call registry. https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

Please someone do something! The 410-202-0027 aka "receivablesperf" who ever they are...keeps calling my house 75 times in one month and I am sick and tired of these scumbags calling me. I think that is harassment and the government should do something or else I will have to write to my congressmen and file a complaint. THIS IS BULL CRAP...

They called five times in fifteen minutes according to my Caller ID. They finally left a message which I couldn't understand. I called back the number on my ID thinking is must have been important for someone to call so many times. They said they were a collection agency and we owed money. We do not owe anyone and told them so and hung up. I wonder if they will continue to call. We have never used MCI or AT&T. Can they be reported to some agency for harassment?

I recieved a few calls from this number over the last few weeks. I read information all over the InterNet to find out who may be calling from this number.

I saw reports saying it was receivablesperformance.com and other reports that it wasn't receivablesperformance.com.

So I sent them an Email asking:

Can you give me the name/address of the real company that uses this number (I am sure this isn't the first time you heard this)?

Their response:

"I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you but could you supply me with the telephone number that was called to see if it is in our database?"

They did not straight up deny using that number for their collection activities but attempted to link my Email address to a phone number in their Database.

We have had same Caller ID (RECEIVABLESPERF), with other tel nbrs. Seems like they change their # every few months. I answered the call probably over a year ago. It's a person supposedly collecting 2000 bad debt for MCI or AT&T wireless. Caller promised to keep calling until we paid them.
