Telemarketing organizations often spoof caller ID. In some instances, this is done to provide a "central number" for consumers to call back, such as an 800 number, rather than having consumers call back the outbound call center where the call actually originated. However, some telemarketers block or fraudulently spoof caller ID to prevent being traced. It is against United States federal law for telemarketers to block or to send false caller ID. Individuals can bring civil suits and the FCC can fine companies or individuals that are illegally spoofing or blocking their caller ID
I am on the do not call registry. I called the number to explain this to the man on the other line and I was given a serious attitude. I explained that I should be the one upset about the call and the man started to curse and swear at me. This threatening individual should not be working for this company and if he ownes this company they should be out of business. The company goes under the guise of 888-8DONATION. I'm curious as to if they are a scam. The term "Donation" can cover a lot of ground. It could be for a "donation" into the guy's pocket.

I'm also getting automated message telling me to donate my car and I keep telling them to stop calling, but they wont. I am going to flood their toll free number all over the internet to ring up their toll free phone number. I thing we should do the same
