They called my cell phone. I did not ans. Went to this website and i have read all of the posts.
In my cell phone i have stored all these numbers. (I gathered all of the numbers from the various posts.)
These are the numbers:
Each number I put into my cell phone. Example: 270-643-0222 "Telemarketer 0222" etc.
Sure it took time. But when they call again. I can smile and say "F@&& You" when I read it is from them.
I have only received one call so far with them using the "0222" number ... but after reading these posts, I know more calls will follow.
i worked for thoroughbred research, if you do not want to be called you need to verify that you do not want to be called, do not call laws do not apply to RESEARCH firms and they will continue to call if you do not answer. If you get called on a cell phone you can tell them its a cell and they are supposed to remove the number, if you're not on a cell and you are rude and just hang up, you get put on a callback list. Sometimes if you ask to be removed people will put you BACK on the callback list because you were rude to them. SOOOO... just be nice, tell them you don't want to be called again, and they will take you off. Also, the call hours end and 9pm and we MUST call until 9pm on the dot, that's why some of you get calls at 8-something at night. These hours are just hours given to us as a average time of availability. We do not know your working conditions, so we dont know not to call at certain times. your best bet, be polite and you'll get your way.
The Do Not Call List, and Laws only cover telemarketing calls. This company isn't selling anything, they only do research, so these laws DO NOT APPLY TO THEM. Educate yourselves people.

It's better to tell them u r not interested, rather than hanging up on them or not answering.. As this WILL result in a callback from another representative.. I know, I work there lol
I worked there. It's a legitimate research firm. They do not sell things and most of their studies are scientific, though they do some market research to pay the bills.
If they call your cell phone, say it's a cell and they'll take the number off the list.
If you just want out of the random selection pool, say to block your number. They will verify the number and then block it.
If the person is rude, ask to speak to a supervisor. They want their interviewers to be as polite and professional as possible.
If you cuss at them or refuse to verify your number, it won't get taken off. They have instructions to hang up if the respondent gets rude.
Just be nice, most of them are exactly like me. Students at MSU that can't find a job in the small town. There aren't many jobs available, and this was actually a really good company to work for. They aren't bad people and what they do is respectable. Don't assume everyone is selling something.
I have filed a complaint with https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx seeing that I have told them in the past to take me off there list
We have been recieving harrassing phone calls from 270-985-1110
. When I try to call them back I get an all circuits busy signal. The name on my phone shows thoroughbred re. I am on the 'Do Not Call List' who are they? They claim they are calling about medicare and want my husband. He is not a medicare receipent. When I ask questions they hang up.
Got 2 calls within a couple of hours today. Like an idiot I redialed their number. Truly not thinking about it being solicitors since we haven't had any since we got on "the list"
Now they're calling from yet ANOTHER number totally different from the previous two numbers! Unbelievable!
And to "XD" - some people don't want to be bothered. How many times does it take to figure it out? I understand it's a job, but come on! Thank you.
They called wanted to speak to my mother who is 85 yrs old about medicare. When I told they she doesn't take surveys, they told me she would be the one to tell them that. she will NEVER answer the phone. they are not going to prey on my elderly parents, not if I have any thing to do with it.
so stop calling

Morons sat there on machine for several seconds, typing away with call center background. Really love this Do Not Call list, it's been a great help. Yeah, right. Assholes.
The no call list does not work with this company because it is for a survey that sometimes includes government and politics. All you have to do is refuse and they will not call again.
Called again and talked to son. I think I will call FCC too. I am suppose to be on no call list!

my husband works for wilkerson & associates...
they take surveys everyday from hundreds of randomized numbers...
if you don't answer the phone or if you hang up they will put you on the list to be called back... so... I'd just say...
take the survey
it's not a big deal anyways
This company has been calling and calling and calling. Every time we answer the phone, they hang up. I called the VP of new business today and left him a somewhat terse message, asking to be removed from their calling rotation and letting him know that any further calls will be reported to the FTC.
Called 4 times on the same day. Last call at 8:50pm
Continues to call with "out of area" displayed on caller id. Finally showed a "cellular call" with the number tonight at 6pm est.
I didn't answer the call. I didn't recongnise the Wilkerson Assoc... They have called twice this week.
Called at 8:38 p.m., heard call center chatter in the background and then was disconnected.
not sure who they actually are but the phone number will take you to http://www.commercecenter.org/pdfs/newsletters/Sept06.pdf if you google the number...
Called my home landline number at 5:55PM
They called at 9:28. I didn't answer
These people are very annoying. Wish they wouldn't call so late!
