This is a robocall scam and has been reported to the FCC. It is a scam originating in Zimbabwe. DO NOT give the any information, just hang up. If you Have mistakenly given them information, call your cred card company immediately and tell them your card has been compromised. For AT&T mobile customers, call customer support and have your number set to not receive marketing calls. It is free of charge and takes al of 5 minutes to do. Not sure about other carriers, but would assume they too can block marketing calls too.

I hit 3 to be taken off the list...I still got the calls so I hit 1 to talk to someone and they say you want to lower your interest rate and I said NO I DONT HAVE A CREDIT CARD...TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST..and they say why did you answer then...I said I thought it was someone important A****le....grrrr
I did tell them one time I wanted to lower my interest rate and they went on with their spill and I said loudly....I DONT HAVE A CARD and they hung up on me..lol

I answer, and I hit 1, then when they ask if I want to lower my CC rate, I say no. They ask me, "then why did you hit one?" I say ask them why that's important, they ask if I'm stupid and I say no your mom is stupid. They curse at me and me and my work is done! LOL

The FCC has temporarily halted 7 minor unprofitable boiler rooms who will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since they are making money with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like http://www.telephonemanagement.net and http://www.CallerID4U.com
In their own words: 'Every day your company makes thousands of outbound phone calls. Every one of those calls generates revenue for many companies, why not yours? Our CNAM revenue-sharing program helps you make money every time a Caller ID request is made by a phone carrier. A high-traffic call center can lose hundreds to thousands of dollars a day to phone carriers by allowing them to charge for access to your own data.'

You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. They are making money even if you don't answer the phone. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their con then it is just icing on the cake for them.

What To Do When You Get an Illegal Robocall; http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/robocalls
1. Hang Up. Do not press 1 or any other numbers to get off the list and NEVER call them back
2. Consider blocking the number or on a cell phone add it to a contact list and assign NO ring tone
3. Report it at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
4. Report it at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
5. People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office
Register your phone numbers online at http://www.donotcall.gov or call 888-382-1222 (must call from # you want removed).

There is a blog site that has information on one of these operations: http://telemarketerspam.wordpress.com
Please read the blog and report violations to the proper authorities. http://telemarketerspam.wordpress.com/2013/02/07/callerid4u-inc-moves-to-silence-critics-of-illicit-robocalls

These creeps call all the time using different numbers. I've asked them to stop. This time, I asked the girl who spoke to me if she liked it up the butt and she hung up. If enough people will do this, it would make them stop because they would get tired of it.

I have filled out complaints forms with the FCC, DO NOT CALL LISTS, and called my federal reps. Blocked numbers etc. This is unbelievable that the phone companies cannot stop these criminals.

A call back w/caller ID blocked gets a message that number "can't be completed as dialed". Obviously spoofing
