T&K is bound by law to dun you by mail, J, assuming your name is on some debt account, within five days of first contact. If this pestering has gone longer, it may be a skip trace for someone else. In the former case, make them validate claim; for the latter a cease-comm should quiet them. The FTC and many consumer watchdogs explain how to draft and send these letters.

They call my fax line 3-5 times daily, never leaving a fax. Calls continue for 5-6 days then after a 2-day hiatus, begin again. If contact is almighty imperative, why don't they use the USPS and mail the info?

This is another bunch of bottom feeder @#%$%^holes, who are on robot calls.
They don't know who they are calling, looking for suckers, probably on made
up phony, limited out of statutes on collecting, looking for a victim to
grab some money.
Tomorrow they will be reported to the FCC on their special form that you can
email them the information, or fax it for free. They do better at stopping
this trash than the FTC. Also a report to the Attorney General of the State
of Florida. Robot calls have been outlawed in Florida, but it has not

They keep calling my cell and claim to be a collection agency, yet they don't even have my name right. Also I have only one loan out which has ALWAYS been paid on time. After some research here's some things I found out.

Could very well be a cyberscam. Read this article about Better Business Bureu alert on fake collection scams.

Here's a list of other numbers used by these scammers you can add to your call blocking

They also use the numbers...

They're an illegitimate debt collection company. For me at the moment they're trying to collect a debt that resulted 3 years ago as the result of a bank account being reopened unauthorized. I have paperwork saying when my bank account was closed and a letter from the bank stating the account being reopened was unauthorized and the debt was forgiven and the account closed again. This doesn't even appear on any of my credit reports.

I've explained to them that this is not a valid debt, but they continue to call attempting to collect $126 of an originally $226 charge. I bet I've already cost them more than that as many times as they call me, so I'm going to let them keep calling and waste their own money.

These people have been harrassing me for nearly 1 year. They have the wrong person. Just because my last name is the same as the person they are looking for, they just keep calling. I am not the one people. Can you please STOP calling me. You're wasting your time.

I found it: call the Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357 and report them. Go to their website first and get their address. If they get enough complaints maybe something will be done.

I don't answer these on my cell phone, but they leave voicemails for a Vladimir somebody I can't make out the last name. It says something like "If you are not this person, please ..." then proceed to leave a detailed message "by continuing to listen, you indicate that you are Vladimir whatever and this is an attempt to collect a debt". Obviously a voicemail doesn't hang up until the caller does, and continues to listen although they are calling the wrong number. This is probably illegal. Sometimes a toll free number appears instead in the caller id but it is the same thing.

I suggest going to their website and clicking on "contact us". Slam them with messages like "you are calling the wrong person. Keep it up and I will report you." You don't have to put in your contact info unless you want to and it will still go through. If anyone knows what government agency these people can be reported to please share.

THEY ARE COLLECTION AGENCY. They accessed to my credit report without my permission. I called them and they told me that I owed ADT alarm service company some money which I never subscribed the service. The guy raised his voice and told me that I can do whatever even suing them. You may call the credit bureau to put alert on your credit report.

Don't let them harrass you even you currently have debt

Automated message telling khdflafdoiurewfb to call immediately. Couldn't understand the name but it was nowhere near mine. Never is a human on the line.

This caller has a lot of info, SS number, unlisted phone number, new address. One caller demanded that I send them a copy of a police report of a wallet lost in May 2008. She claimed that I had obtained a credit card from her bank in September 2008 using this info, then charged more than $1,000 on it. When I told her that I had not heard of her bank and had not obtained a credit card any tme last year, she shouted, "You are full of it. We are going to sue you and ruin your credit." The she disconnected.
Similar calls come early in the mornng and well into the evening, several times a day.

I never answered the phone when I seen the caller I.D. number of Tate and kirlin.... but the number is unlike the ones posted here ... the one I have is 215-464-4500

They have called me many times before, sometimes several times in a day, for several weeks now. I finally had gotten an actually person on the other end a couple days ago and told them that I was not the person they are looking for, that I don't know the name they were looking for and that I was the owner of the phone line account they had called and wanted them to please stop calling and remove my number from any lists they might have, I did this very assertively yet politely. I don't know how I could have been any more clear or civil. Yet they are still calling and not leaving any messages or responding when answering!

We need to regulate this rude and inconsiderate industry NOW just like we do with telemarketers!!!

Tate & Kirlin are a**hole debt collectors. Don't waste your time trying to deal with these people. Idiots.

These folks have called several times from different phone numbers using different angles in their leaving messages...("Hi this is Terry Glass...I have an important message"/"Call me it is imperative that I speak with you"/cryptic automated messages) They are calling on an account that was discharged in a bankruptcy THREE YEARS AGO. This account has been passed from one collection agency to another (about 4) even after stern letters and calls from my lawyer to quit bugging me.

215-464-4500... When they called me they asked for my Maiden name. Must be an old account??

I keep getting calls from this company with both numbers show on my caller id 267-407-0100 & 702-835-0142. When they call they just hang up after trying to verify who I am. I don't have any outstanding bills so I'm not sure why they are calling. I'm on the DNC list till 2009 and will report as a violation. I found the company info in PA, it's Tate & Kirlin Associates, 2800 Southampton Rd, Phil. PA 19154-1207, 215-464-4500 Hope this helps :)
