Caller seemed very slow or delayed to talk for some reason, almost like he was typing his greeting... I said hello twice and then he said, Hello, my name is David something, I didn't catch his last name. I ask him, " What can I do for you?" I waited for about ten seconds, with no response... I hung up! Sounded like a scam artist fishing... Or maybe someone who couldn't talk. Not sure but... Beware!

Healing Heroes Network does not get a very good rating -- estimates are that ~80% of the money raised goes to salaries of the top officers and their paid fundraisers. http://cironline.org/reports/charity-investigator-healing-heroes-network-5670

They are unrated by Charity Navigator simply because they haven't been around long enough to qualify for a rating.

WARNING about HEALING HEROES NETWORK INC.
d.b.a. INJURED AMERICAN VETERANS FOUNDATION:

Calls from 215-309-9020 are made on behalf of HEALING HEROES
NETWORK, INC. d.b.a. INJURED AMERICAN VETERANS FOUNDATION,
with street address of suite no. 2, 31640 US Hwy 19N, Palm Harbor,
Florida.

The reason for this WARNING is that Healing Heroes Network,
Inc. d.b.a. Injured American Veterans Foundation is on record
as having devoted ONLY 20% of its total expenses to program
services during the year fiscal year ending on Dec 31, 2014
according to Washington's Secretary of State Charities Division.

https://www.sos.wa.gov/charities/search_detail.aspx?charity_id=27806

20% indicates that a lot of money is wasted on salaries and on
expenses. While one could argue whether or not they are technically
a scam, such numbers amply justify people treating them
as a another charity scam.

PLEASE VERIFY TO WHOM YOU GIVE!!
