They call every day and play this automated message. I tried getting through to a rep (it says press 1) so I could tell them to remove my name but no one answers.

I got a call from this number once a day for the last 4 days. I don't answer it, and the caller leaves no message. When I called the number, there was a pre-recorded message that says, "Thank you for calling us back. In a moment, we will make this the most exciting..." at that point I hung up. I called annonymously, but they still thanked me for calling them "back."

Anyway, sounds like phone solicitation which is in violation of the Do Not Call list. I know it's futile to report them, but I will do it anyway... so here we go again. I wonder who actually takes these kinds of calls and makes it profitable for telemarketers continue.

Actually in reading these posts, I reported these guys to you on 5/4/08 with a caller ID of Microstar. It now goes as Crystal vision. hehehe

This is a new number from the phishing phone creeps! They will call again soon, with a different number, location, and sales pitch.
It is probably part of the "Heather" group. For more info on this, google "Stop Heather". This group has been in action for several years and nobody has been able to track them down, stop and prosecute them.
Contacting authorities, filing complaints and using a blow horn in the ear piece is useless against these yahoo's. I've tried everything... Nothing!

Recent activity from this group:
646-537-3462 Our of Area (1/5/09---two hours after previous call. Had different caller ID but same number) didn't answer. Pressed redial and recording stated that there were no available operators to take my call at this time and disconnected.
646-537-3462 Jaina Call Indi (1/5/09) didn't answer. Pressed redial and recording stated that there were no available operators to take my call at this time and disconnected.
703-291-9022 (1/3/09) Call Center VA--- didn't answer
213-291-1900 (12/30/08) Network OPS--- didn't answer
760-9303472 (12/30/08) Crystal Vision--- didn't answer
800-511-6146 (12/19/08) 800 service--- didn't answer
213-416-2888 California (12/15/08)--- didn't answer. Pressed redial and a recording stated that "the call cannot be completed as dialed..."

I wasn't here when they called and they did not leave a message. I would have answered to get some information as to why they were calling. My number is on the do-not-call list so I'm sure they wouldn't be calling to sell me vehicle warranty insurance - would they? Guess I will have to wait until they call again to see what they wanted. I have to admit that I'm surprised that they are actually sending the Auto Warranty identification for the caller id display. Probably trying to change their image.

OK... I called the number back.. thats how they get around it.. You called them
back and the recording gives you the schpeal... listen to it for a minute, she will ask you to "press one" if you want to be removed from the list.. also that you had to have approved for them to call in the first place by taking an online survey or something to that effect.. press one folks and you'll be removed from their list within 10 days.. it's that simple.. and quit participating in online crap that ask for you phone numbers !! :) Have a great new years.. Regards, Smitty

Can't believe that this call came through showing Auto Warranty on the caller ID. Is this a new twist to trying to sell unwanted or unneeded vehicle warranties? Anyway I wasn't here to answer the phone and they didn't leave a message. Better luck next time.
