Payments so wasn't sure what else it could be. They've only called once since 1-21.
I tried calling the # back but it's always busy. If you have call blocking I'd suggest using it!
I have no idea who they are...they are too good to leave a message. I am on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" what the hell good is it if it doesnt work?
Trying to sell extended warranty for Dell computer I recently purchased.
CALLED @ 2:47PM EST ON 10/30 - left no msg. I don't own a Dell computer, and don't need one either.
Dell salesperson asking me to upgrade my Warranty on a new laptop I just bought. They called me at WORK and would not let me off the phone!!!
they're trying to extend your warranty if it's running out on anything you bought from them. they call 5 times a day.
It is Dell. They called my cell (which is on the No Call Registry) three times yesterday. I talked to them and told them I wasn't interested in purchasing an extended warranty on the Dell laptop I purchased last month. And once again today they are calling my cell, running up my cell bill.
I just bought a Dell laptop, during which I declined the extra warranty. The calls are to try to convince me to buy the warranty. I told the caller I am already on Dell's do not call list. I believe they can call at least once a year if you are an ongoing customer, so technically they did not violate the regulations. But I told her the hang-ups are extremely annoying and that I would be filing a complaint with Dell's customer service department.
Dell called and it came up California. They were so polite. It did take a minute for them to say anything. They were very helpful. They are only calling you because you have purchased a dell computer and want to offer you an awesome warranty deal. Be patient and wait for them to answer and if you are not interested ask them to take your number off there list.
They've called several times, starting early in the morning, around 8am, and don't leave a message. When I've answered the phone they don't say anything and hang up.

Just had my fourth call, and it's extremely ANNOYING. Trying to get me to extend my warranty.
Actually I have two options. I can return the computer because of this harassment, and/or never buy from Dell again.
What thick idiots they are! The dufus who dreamt up this marketing ploy should lose his/her job.
Refused to acknowledge who he was and would not leave a message after I told him the party he asked for was unavailable.
I recently found out it is DELL Computer Warranty wanting me to extend the one I have. Very unprofessional. Dell should contract out better communication represenatives.
Dell called literally around the clock for three months after I purchased my laptop (last Dell), they had stopped for awhile and now- I guess they are gearing back up.

left a message of ambient sound on voice mail, like the phone called accidentally and picked up whatever noise was in the room. i've been getting many calls from this number the past few days, and they always hang up.
i bought two computers from them in the last year. they call to ask if you want to extend the warranty.
They called twice today and hungup. No answer on the other side when I picked up.

Picked up - no one was there. recently purchased a Dell. Will call # back and tell them to stop calling!!!

Have gotten 6 calls from these kiddies ... always 10-20 seconds of dead silence on the office VoiceMail. Being in IT, I've bought dozens of Dell boxes for the office and for home, but this isn't Dell policy -- does seem to be a SCAM though. (Funny they never call my home.) Someone may be in Dell's data ...
On the call today, there was a DOG barking, and another phone ringing in the background ... lady saying "hello, hello, hello didn't sound very bright..."
Now that I think of it, my warranty is about to expire on my Dell computer. How annoying though!! UGH!
It's only noon and they have called four times already on my work phone and leave no message. I bought a Dell computer through a program at work, so they must have sold my number to this outfit.

We do have a Dell with a warranty that is soon to expire.
These are offshore sales reps trying to push a warranty off on Dell customers. They are merciless and will not stop their calls. Make us an EX-dell customer.
This is a new number through Comcast and they call everyday! They call from 8AM to 8PM. I've never even owned a Dell! Since getting my new number I get phone calls from over 10 different unsolicited companies. I'm changing my number again!

This number has called our office three times in the last week. When I answer, there is no response on the other end, and then it disconnects. Extremely annoying to have to take time away from work to answer the phone when there is no one on the other end of the line.

Towel heads who call at most annoying times
Didnt say anything-- stayed on line then some wierd music played .. I let it finised then they seemed to hang up but connection was still up. Nothing but silence. I eventually hung up.
This site is great. My Dell one year warranty just expired so they must be trying to sell me an extension. They called my office number several times Saturday afternoon and evening. Too bad I was at home!

Another reason NOT to buy a Dell! They have called 5 times today up until 7 PM CST. The caller ID says Dell USA but no computer company (especially if they are trying to sell you something) should be this persistent unless they want to make you REALLY REALLY MAD. This is like creditor harrassment but you don't owe them anything! No wonder Dell is doing so poorly and losing market share...they should re-examine their business model because harrassing their customers isn't the way to bring them back.
No message left, I did buy a computer from Dell so that's probably them.

Two calls/hang ups on Work phone at 7:30 and 8:30pm.
I also have a Dell computer that is about to have it's warranty expire.
What a pain - Somebody should send this link to Michael Dell and tell him to knock it off.
They keep calling me and Dell has no record of the calls. I have not been home to recieve the calls.

Dell Computers. I bought a computer from them last month. I took the time to speak with them and they told me that I was entitled to a three year warranty and that they just wanted to send a packet out to me. I listened to the whole speil and when I was asked if they could record the call for quality purposes, I agreed then I started to listen carefully and all of a sudden I realized that they were signing me up for a warranty that was going to cost me .89 cents for every $100 I spent, (Do the math .89 X (1400/100) = $124. Needless to say, I hung up on them. They've been trying to call me now every day at home and work and it's driving me nuts. The sales person was not upfront and honest with me and only when she went into the legalspeak did I realize that I was going to be under a financial commitment. DANG DELL!!! If you made good computers, you wouldn't need to sell a warranty now, would you?

They probably want you to extend your warrenty. Check to see if your warr. is about might explain the call.

A person called from 228-8970 saying they were from Dell computers, and gave me this number to call back: 207-866-6021
. I called an 800 number from the official Dell site and they cannot verify either number is actually Dell. BEWARE! This might be some kind of scam.
They called me 1/15/07 at 6:30 pm. Eastern time, 1/16 at 6:30, 1/17 at 6:00 and 1/18 at 11:45 am. There is nothing at the other end, just dead air. I bought a Dell back in 2002 and moved several times since and have a unlisted number, so this must be random.
Received two calls; never anyone on the other end.

They have called me twice this Saturday with a voice msg like a car horn. Quite anonying. Btw, I found a website -phonesearchcentral- providing phone number search and this number is highlighted ($50 per number). Ring a bell?
