Said to press 2 to be taken off calling list, so I pressed 2, and the very second I pressed 2, an Indian guy answered and greeted me by saying "Hello card services." I immediately said "Hi take me off your calling list now" and before I could finish that sentence, he hung up. Waiting to get another call back as I'm sure I was not taken off their "calling list" since this is an obvious scam.

Credit Card Services - Spam. Does not identify the company. Probably a scam.

Just received a call from this number and like most other reports, I did not answer - they left no message. The number has been coming in a number of times over the last few months and I let them go unanswered. I am on the do not call list but our government seems to only wish to pretend its working. I feel like it's the 1980s again when every other call was telemarketers and scams.

I received two calls back to back today, and when I called the number to tell them not to call me, I got a busy signal. I filed a complaint with the FCC - https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx - because my number is on the Do-Not-Call list.
I was harassed by 202-800-5536 during the government shut down. So, today I decided to file a complaints against both numbers.

PLEASE, IF YOU RECEIVE AN UNSOLICITED PHONE CALL FROM (212) 686-6838 OR 202-800-5536, FILE A COMPLAINT.

Called said they could lower my interest rate. I asked them to please verify my account # and bank. He listed off 6 different banks and couldn't tell me my account #. When I confronted him about this being fraud and a scam he just hung up as fast as he could. If you get this call report it!

I recieved an automated call stating " THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH MY CREDIT CARD, AND THEY WOULD LIKE TO HELP ME TO LOWER MY INTEREST RATE" , i pressed #1 & was connected to a man with a very thick accent. the then stated he was calling from CARD SERVICES and he was calling on behalf of Bank of America, Chase & so on. and he wanted to help me lower my interest rate on my credit cards with balances ofer $1500.00-$3000.00. I then asked him again what card he was calling abount. He then states the magor bank names. I then asked him what one of my cards exactly was he calling for? He then hung up. FUNNY BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE ANY CREDIT CARDS!!! SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!! DO NOT, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFO!!!!!

Automated recording saying I could reduce my interest rate if I qualified. Pressed 1 and was immediately connected with someone with a foreign accent who went on a legalese rant and started qualifying me. Asked if I had a balance of a certain amount and if my rate was over a certain amount. Then asked to verify my expiration which I gave him, but then he asked for my 16 digit CC #. Told him I would give him the last 4 then he started saying the call was recorded and I was protected blah blah... Told him all I knew was that he had my phone number and knew I had a CC. Asked him to prove he was looking at my account and could help me but he wouldn't give me any info. Went back and forth a bit, he said he could give me my balance and last payment date, then backtracked and said that he couldn't...

Super shady, stay away. 99% sure this is not legit, hope people are smart enough not to give their CC # out over the phone like that.

Called my cell at 3:08 PM wanting to lower my credit card interest rate. I told them that they caught me on my cell phone and asked them to call me back on a land line. I gave them the office number of the State Attorney General, and told them to ask for him by name. I then blocked the number on my phone.

I called the number back several times and each time it was a busy signal. They call on my cell, I called back on my land line at work and was prepared to sell them "fake" insurance. They'd be dumb to call me to lower my credit card interest since I currently have no balance.

I did not answer, caller did not leave a message. I ran the number through a reverse search and it determined it was a landline owned by an Arin D Novic of 118 E 31st St# 4R, New York, NY 10016-9520.

I have no idea what they want. Previous logs say they want to reduce credit card rates, but I don't have any credit cards.
