As you all know 100’s of us (maybe thousands?) have gotten a call from Racheal at Card Member Services asking us to press one if we are wanting to lower our credit card rates. Do not take them up at their offer. I monitor 10 “who is calling me” type of websites. Several people on those sites have been scammed out of there hard earned money. Below is a partial list of numbers associated with calls from Card Member services. (My thanks to Ronin and others)

Many believe these calls are placed through a VOIP service which allow the company to place calls using a fictitious phone number. The number I have been getting calls from actually belongs to a 62 year old lady in Baltimore (nice lady!),

Many on these sites have attributed these calls to people such as;
Marketing Source One, Naperville, IL 60540
PACIFIC TELECOM COMMUNICATIONS GROUP in Olympia, Washington
CELLCO PARTNERSHIP DBA VERIZON WIRELESS -Marysville WA
Unknown sources in Vancouver Washington
As well as First USA in Wilmington Delaware.
I have spoken to executives in most of these companies as well as reviewing their copany profiles and believe them to be legitimate. Like others I strongly recommend that we all file frequent complaints with the FTC, FCC, DNC and our State attorney general’s office. Websites addresses are given below. If this company is using a voip system then it will take someone with greater resources than us private citizens to address this matter.

These people are sooooo annoying!! First of all they don't speak, nor do they understand English!! Toldnthem not to call anymore or I was reporting them to my lawyer for harassment and "Jack" laughed and said he will continue to call until I answer his questions. **Report Them**. Maybe we can get them to stop!!

Same old story. Didn't answer and they left no message. So very tiring to keep getting all these scam calls when you are on the no call list. It doesn't seem to do any good to report to anyone. Oh well, what are you going to do????

called twice and it said Sdg on caller id. google and nothing show what that is.

Called twice in 20 minutes on Friday...the second being at 8:59pm. Talk about cutting it close! No message, of course.

they call me atleast once every other day.i do not answer the phone and they do not leave a message. i tried to call them back and it told me this party is not accepting incoming calls. one time they called and i did answer it that time, they were trying to talk to me about smoke detectors and i told them we were all set for smoke detectors and they hung up on me when i told them that.

Answered the phone and asked who was calling. Could not understand the callers answer, or what he said afterwards, because of his poor English and so I hung up.

They are very pushy and immediately start asking if I had monitored smoke detectors and security system. I told them that it is none of their business. They kept asking and I was as abrupt with them as they were with me until they hung up. I am suspicious of anyone asking if I have a security system much less one that is monitored.

Got sick of them calling so I answered. The person said this is not a sales call do you have smoke detectors in your house. I said to her look I have received this same call from several different numbers take me off your list as I'm on the do not call list.Silence She hung up. lol
