Got a call from 206-397-5092
on July 17, 2010 at 10:17 am. Dead air. No response after several seconds. Hung up. Caller ID listed the number as above, with the name "800 Service". I filed complaints with the FCC and the Federal Do Not Call Registry. Call back to the number did not identify a company or name, but instead made vague references to 'preferred marketing services" and suggested that I press '1' to be removed. I did, but past experience has taught me that this never works.

This phone number continues to call along with 206-397-1542
. They are in true VIOLATION OF THE NO CALL LIST. Report them to www.ftc.gov.
CID - we did not pick up & no message was left
Call came from British Columbia (Canada) to Kansas by way of VOIP (Voice-Over protocol) from a computer by way of Telecom Pacific. Area code is for Washington.
Call accidentally answered, recorded voice offered to lower credit card rate and couldn't go further because the wife hung up.
I am constantly getting calls from this number and when I pressed one for a live operator I told her I did not have a Visa or Master card to have any interest lowered and click, she hung up. This is definitely a scam and I would like the calls to stop. I added this number to my call screening option and hopefully that will do the trick. This number should be reported to officials who can do something to stop this.
no message, caller ID "credit service" this is the first call at 8 AM !
I did find out that this "company" Credit Services is in Seattle, WA and that this is a landline.

getting calls from this number and is there not a way to stop them from calling??
Not even 8:00 am yet and this outfit called me with an automated message saying that I could lower the interest on my credit card (the card was unidentified) and if I wanted to avail myself of the deal, to press 1 for a live operator. I pressed 1 and asked who they were and she said "Visa Card Services." She then immediately asked if I wanted to take advantage of the deal or not. I told her I wanted to be taken off their list and she hung up on me.
"Hello, this is Heather" I get calls from this # every few days. This is quite irritating because I have asked to be removed from their call lists on numerous occasions and they still keep calling me. Furthermore, the # that they are calling me on is an emergency communication asset aboard my passenger vessel and its purpose is to function as a redundancy back up for our emergency radio gear. Any non authorized use of that asset endangers my vessel, crew and company. In effect, their incessant calls could be characterized as acts of tampering with an emergency communications system. Such acts are considered by federal law enforcement specialists as felony crimes and could be considered as acts of terrorism.
I will be speaking with federal authorities this afternoon about this issue. Something must be done!

ALOT of these calls originate from out of the country. They are relayed via satelite to a number in America. Therefore, they are EXEMPT from the DNC list. The BEST way to stop them is NOT to answer the phone! Once you answer, they know it is a "good" number and keep calling hoping they will get someone else in the household. DO NOT answer your phone unless you know who is calling. IF it is important, THEY WILL LEAVE A MESSAGE. Otherwise, check the number out here or call it back if your curiousity gets to the breaking point. That's what we do and 99% of the time this is where we end up. A bunch of people mad at something they think they cannot control. Do not give the caller control.
called three times in a row - says credit service in caller id. I did not pick up and they did not leave a message.
it`s a scam to get your credit card numbers, They tried this a few months ago with me and when I asked what card they where calling about, They could not tell me and when I asked to talk to thier supervisor, They hung up.
This number calls my house every month. I didn't answer yesterday but called the number back and hit #1 to remove my number from their list. However my number is on the do NOT call list and yet they keep calling. I too have spoken to a rude person who hung up on me when I asked who they were calling for.
Didn't leave a message - imagine it is the same scam that has been calling under different numbers.
