I have received back to back calls for over an hour now. Before then I would receive a call about once and hour on this date: 03-23-10. I wish there was a way to file harassment charges on these people.

I've had calls from this number about four times now. I never answer, but it's really getting old.

I just moved to a new apartment and have a totally new phone number that is not even available to information callers. How did this stupid person or company get this number? I have also gotten calls from "New Hampshire", Maximus Group and others. I agree with the person who said there ought to be a special place in hell for these jokers.

if you want these people to stop try this, we were getting similar calls, before, and nothing worked, so i would follow all the prompts til i got a person, then when they answered, i screamed as loud as i could, a blood curdling scream, the call eventually quit, this number has just started calling, guess i will have to do the same thing to them....

Exact same situation as Jerry. I just got this phone line and NO ONE has the number yet. Get multiple calls a day. when I get a real person they hang up the SECOND I say I don't have debt... take me off list! Pissing me off!! Just filed a complaint via bill's post. Will try calling back to see if I can be taken off.

I have been getting these calls for well over a month. They have called multiple times each day. I have asked them to place me on their do not call list, and more often then not they just hang up at that point.
Today I finally filled a complaint with the FTC - the website is https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ Just click on the the complaint assistant, it is easy and fast. Every time they call me again I will file a new complaint, I encourage everyone else to do the same.

i have a brand new phone line set up just a week ago. i have never had a number before, and i use this one as my FAX LINE! and i am constantly getting calls on it from S ROBERTS and it just keeps ringing and ringing. I need to figure out how to set it up so you can hear the ANNOYING fax line sound when you call. i work from home and i have to keep hearing the fax ring in because of this dumbass.

Had a company named Maximus Group start calling me regarding credit card consolidation, even though I have no outstanding debt. When I requested to be taken off the calling list, the calls just increased, with eventually the callers becoming threatening if I resisted. Filed a complaint with BBB and Do Not Call List and the calls just got worse. Now they are coming from this number too. It is the same company and I advise you if they called to start reporting them immediatly.

Message begins: Hi, this is Scott. If you would like to reduce...........
press 1.

After repeated calls, I pressed 1. A very friendly guy answered - until I said that I had no interest and please take me off your list. CLICK. He hung up on me. And the calls continued. Again today. I pressed 1. A gal came on. There was a short pause. Click. So, I did a redial , and got a local college. Then I dialed their number, and there was an option to be removed from the call list. Did that. We'll see.

Definitely a scam. They try to get you to "lower credit card debt" and try to get your personal info. There are many of these that have been going around for the past few years. I spoke to my credit card company last time someone tried this in 2007 and they said that you will have to contact them--they will NEVER contact you. This is standard for most services, so if they are calling for something like this, it is most definitely a scam and they will keep calling you until they are caught (or scared).

We just got a house phone last week and have only given the number to a handful of people. This call came in the other day but we did not have VM set up so didn't get any VM. We have since turned on VM, the call came again today, I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. It just said "Seattle WA" on the caller ID. No message was left. Based on Richard's response, it sounds like a telemarketer.

Caller ID reads SEATTLE WA. After I blocked 206-397-1915, then 206-397-1205 started in. Nobody I know, and I am on DO NOT CALL list. This is tiresome. There has to be a special circle in hell for these people.
