Sorry, I meant using a computer to make multiple calls. Whoever picks up first gets belittled, everyone else get's put on hold or gets hung up on then called again. Not "war-dialing" in the strictest sense of the term, but basically the same thing Phreakers (phone), and Hackers (an ip address is like a phone number even if nobody uses dial up much anymore), did in the old days. Not so much now I think.
LOL don't disregard or else what? Your going to put it on my already crappy credit report? Go ahead. I don't use credit, or banks, or any of it. It's like giving someone a license to steal your money. What purpose does it serve to put your money in a bank? So you can get a truly negligible interest rate? They make more money off your money than you do the they 5, 10 25 35, and 40 dollar you to death so you really lose money by keeping it in a bank. They can invest as recklessly as they want because if they fail or just plain steal your money (thank you Mr Madoff for proving this point. I hope you die in prison from pancreatic cancer), your tax dollars will pay you back through FDIC...YOUR MONEY!!!! Paying you back with your money!!!! Charge you dollars everyday if you have a negative balance of one penny. Or if they take money from your savings to cover a check they charge 30-40 dollars or you can pay the same amount(or more) annually not to do it. Either way you lose they win. Thanks I'll keep my money in my pocket If I can't buy it with what I have...I don't get it..simple. So stick my credit rating...make it a negative 750...I could not care less about that. But I will do my best to clear up past mistakes I walked into with my eyes wide shut by not asking questions and reading the TOS (et al), what I lovingly refer to as "War and Peace". Sadly, if you do not read every word of a contract, you are in fact,...very foolish. 18 -25% interest rates...even on school loans? Shameful.

Nobody's on the line because they are basically war dialing. Using a computer program to answer the calls. If you want to block their numbers their are computer freeware programs available at sorceforge.net and CNet that will block their calls because the program on your computer can tell if it's this type of call. You can also have the program tell their system to take you off of their list. By Federal Mandate they must comply.

Why don't these people simply leave a message? I will not return a call from someone I know nothing about nor will I answer it. If someone has voice mail they have the ability to screen their calls. If you want me to call you back...state your business. It's called being forthright and... creative? Everyone that has. or has had debts knows the tactics of collection agencies. Endless phone calls with no messages. That doesn't necessarily make them a deadbeat. Especially in a jobless market. I had a debt collector call some moths back and left a message...said they wanted to work out a deal. Guess what? I called them back. We worked out a deal and it's been settled. I think that most people want to pay their debts. If they know you're willing to work with them they might work with you. I would rather have part of something than all of nothing. Wake up!!
