If you let the message play out and then hit the number 2, it will stop calling. This really works.

This number is repeatedly calling my minor daughter's cell phone during the day. When I call back says is no longer in service. Something needs to be done about this number. She changed her number a month ago.

I have been getting calls from random numbers over the last week or so. I've been checking the numbers on various websites, and it keeps coming up as a "warranty expired" call. As you can see, they're pretty relentless. I've only been left a message once. And when the number is called back, it's disconnected.
Other numbers used and date of call:
443-205-1002 (3/24 11:33am)
704-970-1583 (3/21 12:12pm; 3/20 6:54pm)
813-641-8382 (3/20 2:03pm)
603-214-3340 (3/19 5:22pm)
217-546-3064 (3/14 9:30am)
818-870-9114 (3/10 1:18pm)

regarding "final warranty" offer
unknown
 Mar 24th, 2009
This number also has called my home on several occassions - during the day (number is on caller ID), evenings and weekends. Same recorded message. I looked on the Reverse Lookup website:

Phone number#: 202-747-7323
Owner information:

Record found in DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, WASHINGTON

Name or address:
Available
Line type:
Landline
Carrier:
GLOBAL CROSSING TELEMANAGEMENT

When you look up Global Crossing Telemanagement, they are a telecommunications company. The only other info I found looking thru their website is that they have Tariffs, however I didn't see anything listed for Washington, D.C. - which is where the phone number comes from.

I would suggest everyone who continues to receive these phone calls to log on to https://www.donotcall.gov/, which is the National Do Not Call List website that the government has. There you can file a complaint - which I have done. If more of us do this, they will be reprimanded.

Good luck~

These people have been calling me and my wife's cell phone for the last few weeks, and they hang up every time you ask to be taken off their list. Last time my wife asked to talk to a supervisor and he did not hang up and said that we will be taken off the list. Will just have to wait and see.

I see lots of complaints, mine is the same. Where can we get an actual answer on how to get rid of these PESTS? I can't believe that hanging up on a 'potential' client is the way to do 'business' these days. UNBELIEVABLE and incredibly ANNOYING. I just Skyped the number = busy and I suspect it will always be this way.

Seems likely this was the auto warranty scam as this is very near the time of day they have called every day this week. Shared symptoms of nymber only as caller id, and no message left. I assume the telemarketing system can detect the difference between voice mail and a live answer. That would be a good reform to calling laws. Specify in law that a message must be delivered with all the required info regardless whether person or answering device is reached. These marketeers call without penalty of serviving inbound calls by clicking off on voice mail systems.

I have followed the automated menu multiple times to have my number removed. They still call. I connected to a person twice and as soon as they realize what I want (my number removed) they hang up on me!
