Glenn is partially correct in his statements concerning ObamaCare. Yes, the Supreme Court has declared it constitutional, because what the Dems swore that the financial penalty for not being insured was not a tax, but a fee. The SCOTUS declared that the penalties were, in fact a tax, and therefore covered under the Constitution's provision for the Federal Government to levy taxes. And true, also, is his statement that these political calls are, unfortunately, exempt from the Do Not Call law. Bummer.

Where he is INCORRECT, however, is in his statement concerning how ObamaCare would save money. Subsequent studies of the legislation, once it became fully formulated and out in the open, have shown that it will NOT save the Government money. In fact, ObamaCare is another grand entitlement program, like Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid -- which are all really grandiose Ponzi Schemes -- and will add trillions to the deficit.

I assume this was a political robo call. When I tried to return the call it wouldn't go through. I firmly believe that political calls SHOULD NOT be exempted from the do not call registry. I pay for a non-published number because I don't want to be bothered. If they call back and I find out who it is, they will have just lost my vote!!!!!

A right wing robocall about providing an electronic petition against "Obamacare" to be given to the US Supreme Court. The US Supreme Court has already made its decision on whether the health care legislation is constitutional, and will release its findings this month. The CBO study of the legislatiion has indicated that the legislation will save significant government money. Nevertheless, these groups, among others, simply reject these a-political studies and fiscal projections. Unfortunately, political calls are not a violation of the Do Not Call. However, I would personally like to press a number (as the robocall requested of me) to eliminate these calls and callers from the face of the earth.
