Have gotten two calls from this company within 4 days. Hang ups. I did business with them in 2007, they screwed up an order that I had with them. I had approved the typesetting on labels and after my approval, they added additional text that made no sense. I complained and they wouldn't re-do the order so I sent them a letter outlining what happened and why I would never do business with them again. Now they're calling me? Business must be way down. Losers.

Still calling business--they don't offer service in this area & haven't started to offer it!

No idea who these people are; way outside of my area code.

This is Bank of America collections. I thought this call and one I received 4 business days ago (I called them back and spoke to them) were part of a phishing scheme, so I got my Quickbooks MC statement. I have made 4 payments to them on a payment program that they suggested as being acceptable to them. They are direct withdrawals, and as I was suspicious, I wasn't angry or had a raised voice. When I called to ask if my payments were actually going to BoA, I was lectured, actually "read the riot act" by their customer service employee Nolan who was rude, raised his voice and was very intimidating. They apparently have a spiel that they read to people who are on a payment plan about how you are in past due status and that they can continue calling you until 6 regular payments have been made (uh, that's not in the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) because he said twice to me. I told him the calls were to stop. He said they could continue calling; I said OK, do I have to call my attorney general's office? He said they could keep calling, actually twice. So tonight I am sending a letter to the Consumer Division of my state's Department of Justice. If this happens to you, Google your state's attorney general or Dept. of Justice Consumer Division and report them. Bank of America is way outside of federal law (FDCPA).
