Reporting thsi call too.
According to another website this fradulant company is located at: Their physical location is 703 West Housatonic Street, Pittsfield, MA
Zach at extension: 2240 called our business. We have no idea why. He directed me to a website. He was really nice, but, he sounded as if he called from a playground.
we get several phone calls a day from foreign workers trying to sell us these minimum wage posters. One caller told me, "FINE,THEN GET YOUR BUSINESS IN TROUBLE FOR NOT HAVING ONE"... and she hung up on me, a few minutes later, someone else who barely spoke English called, then hours later- someone else.. this has been going on for days.
The posters are FREE in our state.
Barry is trying to sell us something to keep our "good name" for $37.50 a month.
"Mike Benavides" says there is a buyer interested in our industry. he is from amerger and aquasitions firm. We have no interest in wanting to merge.
"Adal" called from here. My boss is very concerned. While this guy was nice, giving her information to Indonesian people over the phone could cost her.
rude and persistant
caller was very rude and persistant.
Strange that he's calling on a MD number, yet there is no such company there.
rude caller asking for owner, won't provide any info.
Caller asked for recently deceased owner (December 2006), which is heartbreaking. The caller was persistant- since three employees share the same name, I advised him that the first one passed away, the second is out of town and the third one works outside all day. He sad, "So what?! Is he TOO busy to take a phonecall from ME??!?!" I advised him that the employee works outside on jobsites and wouldn't be able to take his call. The ignorant caller hung up on me.
called again, this time he says he was in the "construction office" so my coworker would not be able to call him back- new name given- "Bill Stewart" last time says his name was "Mike". Four times total.
a call again, as you can see from my post above, this gentleman is now getting extremely rude and pushy, again, AGAIN, asking for the deceased owner!! What is his problem??? Put a note in your computer dude that the owner passed away Winter of 2006!!
Indonesian men, yes two in a matter of moments called for the deceased owner and his wife. I explained that the gentleman passed away and he asked for the wife, the other owner. When I explained she was running errands, he was a bit hesitant, but he hung up. Moments later another indonesian man called asking for the same people. Please see the report for 1-800-648-9605 for the continuation of this call-- little did I know I was going to get a call 4 minutes after dealing with these two, from yet another indonesian rep- this time a woman.
This Indonesian woman called me on this exact number 5 minutes after her two indonesian coworkers just called me from the same business: Option 1. She asked for the deceased owner or his wife. When I explained that I had JUST answered all of this for the other two gentleman and that the owners wife was running errands and she won't be back for a while... she says, "OK, I'll hold". I blew up! Not only did I have to yell and explain to her what "errands" meant- that it meant she wasn't in the building but I told her never to call again because she continuously said she'd wait for the deceased owner- Good luck- you'll be waiting a while for him to come to the phone!, 3 calls within 12 minutes from Option 1 was a tad bit rediculous!
Chris (McGregor) can't really remember his last name, but he asked for me personally, and quite frankly, I NEVER give my name out so it shocked the heck out of me that he would even ask for me. He asked me if I accepted credit cards. I advised him that we don't, that I don't make the decisions, and that I believe our company will do well without him, as we have been for over 40 years. I advised I was the secretary and that I shouldn't be a part of this, and more so that I didn't like the fact that he even asked for me. "Chris" EXCLAIMS, "Well----, as a secretary, KEEP YOUR BUSINESS SMALL!!!!!" And he hung up on me. I *69ed him and kept calling him back. Once I caught him off gaurd as he was dialing out, and he asked me if I was "Vegitations Paradise", I said, "Actually no, it's the woman you just hung up on FUCK HEAD!" He laughed so hard and hung up on me.
I'm all for calls from anyone, but, when he became abusive and yelled at me for keeping the business "small"-then hung up on me, that's when you've gone too far.
It's called RESPECT.
Called twice asking for a gentleman that works here, when telling him he is unavailable, he INSISTS on getting a "mobil" number from me. The same gentleman calling has used two different first names before. He will not allow for a return call because he is "on the road".
"Jason" called for a guy who does not work in the office. The scary thing is, "Jason" called from a cell phone, seriously! I could hear the wind, horns blowing, and cell phone noises. When I told him the guy he asked for didn't work here, he kept asking me for the guys cell phone number. I told him I didn't know the guy, and he told me he would call the guy's cell phone and try him at our number another time. What part of my answers did he NOT understand. I dialed *69-- 4/27/07 and 5/23/07
"Tamel" called our business asking for someone who is deceased, who has not had debt issues. While he was super nice, it was heartbreaking to hear the newly deceased's name mentioned- even more so associated with "debt".
Asked if we accepted credit cards, I answered, "no". He hung up on me.
"Sarah" really rude - I have never ever had any debt problems -so this call is obviously not for me.
This caller was really rude because they could not speak with the owner of our company.
This man was the most ignorant guy who has ever called. He said he was from the "U.S. Government" funny since it's a California phone number. He was EXTREMELY ABUSIVE, and wanted me to verify my company address for him. When asking him his name, he said he could not tell me that and abusivly asked if I was hiding something from the government. When I exclaimed "no, I am aware of phone scams where they ask you to verify their information but won't give us yours, you best believe I am going to be weary". He called me several derogatory names and yelled, 'FINE! I'LL ERASE YOUR WHOLE COMPANY INFORMATION FROM THE GOVERNMENT, YOUR TAXES AND EVERYTHING, SO IT'LL BE LIKE YOU DON'T EVEN EXIST"! And he said even worse stuff. I dialed *69, got his number, waited either a few hours or the next day, and called the number annonymously... HE ANSWERED cautiously with a meek, "Hello". I hung up.
Man excitingly asked for owners name, when I advised she wasn't in, he was giggly and hung up. I would assume that this is someone to "renew" our free publications as well- judging by what I read here. The thing is: they call several times a day, and when you tell them that you've already provided them with updated info (Cause I do when it's slow here), they tell me "Oh well it must not have been saved in our computer". Well, it's not my fault you can't "save".
I have even told them we aren't interested in the publications anymore, and they hound me with it being "free" and blah blah.
this number has called 3 times in the past 5 minutes- twice asking for someone who doesn't work here... the third time, they just listened to me saying "Hello". foreign person
