The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number, All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

unav calls from 13 phone numbers:
The number is now in my computer program 'PhoneTrayPro' which will answer this number the next time they call, give them a piece of my mind, and hang up. All that's needed is a Fax/Data/Voice/CallerID modem and the program. Check it out at: www.phonetray.com or www.facebook.com
Want to know "WHY" this non-stop calling continues(even if you are on the "DO NOT CALL LIST")from "Rapid Medical Alert" and/or other various telemarketers? Its because your phone provider SELLS your phone number to them! Your phone provider ALSO charges YOU for "Caller ID" knowing full and well that the telemarketers will use the "800 SERVICE" as their company caller ID name! So you never see a NAME of who is calling you...only a phone number! Your phone provider not only SELLS you phone number... they charge you for Caller ID that they know will NOT work against them! Always follow the money trail! Research it!
Robbo call announcing the re-opening of the local Salvation Army Store. Whoopie. Just got over the attack of the politicians. Guess SA and friends will pick up the slack. It really is time to put a checkbox on each and very exemption on the DNCL so that people have control of THEIR *personal* communication channels.
Same old telemarketer crap - call came in at 12:08 pm on 10/19/12
I called them back; apparently they're selling some kind of medical equipment. Told her my number was on the do not call list and she said she was sorry, it didn't show up there. Yeah, right.
This could be a call from the Democratic National Comm.
Since they bothered me with a phone call at 9:13 AM, and since the caller ID says 'unavailable', the Salvation Army can go pound salt. These jerks who solicit donation by phone just don't get it, same way with these politicians. I'll be on the phone again with my Congressman tomorrow bothering him because they are the ones who make the rules allowing this BS. The Do Not Call registry is a complete joke, it has not worked since day one. I keep a log of all my phone calls and not one number I have ever reported has been discontinued, beside the telemarketers purchase hundreds of numbers and simply use one for 2 weeks and then go on to the next number. The SOBs at the phone company refuse to block any numbers unless you purchase another option but like I said, the telemarketers just move on to another number.
Obama's going to fix things though. He's allowing telemarketers to now call cell phones. Way to go.
It's the Salvation Army. They called and did leave a message on my answering machine asking for donations.
A man's voice thanking me for my support. Wasn't asking for anything; just saying thanks! First time I ever received a call from them, and haven't heard from them again. Salvation Army is one of the few charities that spends most of what it collects on the needy they serve; somewhere around 93%. The reason they're picky about items they accept is that they re-sell them and use the proceeds to help the needy; they can't sell beat-up junk.
A recorded message from the Salvation Army seeking furniture and household goods to support their rehabilitation center in Cleveland. The Salvation Army is one of the worthwhile organizations and I always support them, both locally and nationally, with monetary donations throughout the year. I resent being disturbed with these needless phone calls.
No one answer back after I said "hello" 3 times.
computer call soliciting Salvation Army donations
hung up when I answered
RE: HEATHER AND RACHEL ARE CALLS FROM UK WITH A CID 44----- SHOWING MOSTLY. UK HAS A DO NOT CALL LAW ALSO AND IT TAKES A WHILE TO GET TO THE RIGHT PERSON OVER THERE TO GET ON THEIR LIST, BUT FOR ME I FINALLY WORKED.
My computer zapped the call.
Robo called the house and something about asking for donations. I hope that they do not call me again. Some time back I called them to donate some things and they got really picky about the items that I had, with that being said...the hell with them.
Jay: Who is "them" who employed you, one of the three scammer firms the FTC cold-cocked this Spring? Or was it one of the soundalikes who months later are still plaguing citizens with random calls from "Heather" and "Rachel" claiming to represent variants of "Account Services" and "Card Services"? Absolutely nothing reported on these sham outfits suggests they ever engaged in legitimate credit counseling, itself a dodgy industry.
Spam from Salvation Army
Call Nobama. He will take care of you, just don't hold your breath because he's going on vacation.
whares be all da clodes and shit.. we bees hungy muddafuka
salvation army looking for donations
Call was automatically blocked due to being a toll free number.
Salvation Army. Wants money money money. Asked them to be put on the DNC list, but she said they could not do that. BS!
I wasn't here to pick up on the call but they did leave a canned message. The guy said he was calling on the behalf of the Salvation Army. They were looking for donations of clothing, furniture, and other household goods to be used at a new rehabilitation center in Portland, ME. He went on to say that if I had anything they would be glad to pick it up. All I had to do was call the 800 number to have the pick-up scheduled.
I don't have problem with this outfit or other non-profits but I wish these calls as well as political calls and survey calls could be prohibited by the FTC. Oops, lost my mind. Politics would always override common sense.
Message left by a computer. Very garbled and hard to understand but something about a truck coming to my neighborhood for donations.
I see all these comments and to be quite honest since I did work for them, is that yes maybe the call and some of the people that worked there could have been differently... But the fact of the matter is that we actually proved results on helping 1000's of people get lower rates.. Im sure for you they actually have a credit card on here, that your sit and tired of these banks and your high rates... So why not have someone go to bat for you??? So those of you with the fraud comments have no clue... I admit not everyone wants the call and needs to have a better way to get those who dont want help off the list... Well enjoy the rest of your day!!1
I finally got thru the Verizon process and have a piece of info to share......the *57 call trace goes NOWHERE until the party being called illegally actually: 1) files a POLICE report; 2) provides Verizon with three items: a) Case #, b) Officer's name, and c) Fax # to the police department.
Our government officials should REQUIRE Verizon to put this followup information into the phone books.....here I have been expecting that if enough of us did the "call trace" on the SAME number that SOME action would be automatically started by Verizon. It is implied that if the call is threatening that one would want to contact the police but with telemarketing calls I thought the implied action would be by Verizon when ENOUGH of us would qualify as a COMPLAINT to VERIZON and that some action would be taken. Boy was I wrong.
We are on ALL the do not call lists for Fed and Commonwealth of PA. This number called to BOTH phone numbers in my home within 2 minutes......Aug 14, 2009 at 11:56 am then second on other number at Aug 14, 2009 11:58 according to the *69 feature. When I do the reverse number look-up Verizon tells me it is NOT a valid number. It was a "last chance to lower your interest rate" call.
IT IS ABOUT TIME that someone caught these folks. I keep doing *57 to report as annoyance call. WHO WILL EVER TAKE SOME ACTION??
Getting these from "Rachel at Cardholder Services" almost every day. On the state and federal no call lists. Tried pressing "9" to talk to someone, as they instruct, and every time, on hold for a while, then disconnected. In case these people post phony messages here about how helpful their "service" is, you would be wise to stop messing with people you don't know. You know how you found and abuse my number? Guess what? I've found where you are.
On Aug. 2, 2009 at 2:45pm CDT we got a call from 407-000-9876. Why do we keep getting these calls when we are on the DO NOT CALL LIST?
Another government run program that it totally worthless!
Pressed 9 to speak to someone, asked what company she was with and she said credit card services for Visa & Mastercard. I told her I wished to be removed from the calling list and mailing list and before I could say I thought the tactics were misleading and deceptive, she hung up. No way to call back that number.
Can't say how many calls I've received. Now, I just pick up the phone, hang up, and come here to report it. Someday, someone is going to be motivated enough to do something to stop what these people are doing. Maybe a class-action lawsuit for harassment?
These SOBs have been calling my fax and home phone two to three times a day. They claim to be "Cardholder Services". When asked to be taken off of their call list they became abusive and hung up. I tracked down the information on these people. They were shut down and have reopened as of 4/1/09. They are a scam using robo calls to gather credit card information. They go by the name of DHC Financial Services LLC with a website www.dhcfinancial.com. They are located at 5300 Recker Highway, Winter Haven, FL 33880. Their contact phone number is 877-332-8652. Do not give them any information. This is a criminal operation. The mastermind behind the operation may be a one Miguel Correa. Miguel is located at 1275 Bennett Road, STE.102, Longwood, FL 32750. The Managers of the operation are possibly Michael S. Finn and Jim Stone. There personal phone numbers and home address' can be found on the internet.
This afternoon I received a call from 407-000-9876. It was a recording that told me they wanted to talk to me about my credit card but that there was nothing wrong with my account, and that I had the option of pressing 9 to speak with an individual. After pressing 9, I spoke with a very nice young man who told me that he could help me lower my interest rates. He said he was with Card Services. I asked which bank he worked for and he told me that he worked for "Mastercard and Visa". I found this to be interesting, because those are two separate companies. He said that after 6 months of paying my bills on time and not going over my limits that I was entitled by law to lower rates. He told me that in order to qualify I had to be over $5,000 in debt on credit cards. He asked if I was. When I answered in the affirmative, he took it a step further and asked me which card balance was the greater. I answered, "The older one." This gave him pause, at which point I asked if he could just send me something. He said that they had sent me something and that perhaps I had mistaken it for junk mail. I then told him that I was not going to give him any of my credit information over the phone without first investigating his company. He gave me the following information:
employee ID 1129
866-942-6441 (toll free)
407-485-2667 (direct line)
I ended the conversation and looked up the website. It became VERY obvious that this company is not related to any credit card company or bank because the site is actually very unprofessional. They used canned software to create it and it is hosted by a company that hosts sites for small and home-based businesses. My continued search brought me here.
The long and the short of it is this: F R A U D
Do not give this company any of your credit or personal information. They will most definitely use it to take from you that which does not belong to them, causing you nothing but grief and loss of $$.
I wish these bastards would stop calling - I signed up for the Do Not Call list. I wish they'd burn in hell.
Offer to lower your interest rates . . . scam I just hit the fax button on my printer.
407-000-9876. THIS IS A FORGED CALLER ID. THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN IF
THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW. THE PRERECORDED VOICE TO A HOME BECAME
ILLEGAL IN DEC 2008. CALL YOUR FEDERAL HOUSE AND SENATE MEMBER AND
ASK THEM TO WORK ON A LAW TO MAKE IT A FELONY TO PROVIDE OR USE OR
MAKE A CALL FROM A PHONE USING A FORGED CALLER ID. PROBABLY THESE
OUTFITS ARE USING T1 TELEPHONE LINES WHICH PERMIT THEM TO FORGE

SEARCH THE END OF MONTH BILLING WHICH IS USED TO SETTLE WHAT TELEPHONE
COMPANY OWE WHO HOW MUCH. THAT BILLING LISTS THE ANI (AUTOMATIC NUMBER

Here is their #: 1-866-942-6441. They are called Saphire financial. We all need to call them every day, numerous times and see how they like having their time wasted. Just dial *67 to block your #.
CAUTION: The recording tells you to press '9' to speak with a live representative. Do not give them access to your phone line this way.
They identify themselves as card member services and they want to lower your interest rate on your credit cards. I have tried 3 times to get my number off their list as we do not have any credit cards. Today the rep was downright dirty. He asked for my number and name, I told him mine and my husbands, he said oh how cute high school sweethearts, I said um no, he said so what time should I pick you up xx? I said um I dont think so, he said why hubby could handle the camera and take pictures and that I would like that. I asked for a supervisor and he hung up on me.
Did not answer
Card Services is what they tell you name of the company is. They help you lower your interest rate on your cards. Yeah, Right! I ask for the name of their employer and the address. The girl started all over reading from her script. I asked again the address of the building she was calling from. Again she started over from the beginning of her script she was reading from. I told her I was on the Do Not Call list and she said she was only trying to help. Yeah Right!
This is a scam. I thought the government was going to do something about this kind of thing? Hello, quit giving money to Chrysler and throw some people in jail!
This is what I get from a reverse look up. "No Yellow Pages listings found". Makes it believable that these people are criminals.
dickie doober - you must be the jerk that called himself tim on another phone number that called you. YOU ARE SO SICK!
JUST IGNORE THE CALLS AND THEY'LL GO AWAY AFTER A TIME. TELLING SOMEONE TO "F" HIS MOTHER AND SUCH IS MORBID AND YOU WILL BURN IN H**L FOR BEING LIKE YOU ARE.
I have been getting these "lower your credit card rate" calls and messages on the answering machine for months now. I checked fuve unknown caller ID phone numbers stored on my phone and every one of them and every one of them is identified on this site as connected to either auto-warranty or credit card phishing scams. Until this site was mentioned in yesterday's Wall Street Journal (5/15/09), I didn't realize what a plague this is. Shame on the authorities in the states where these boiler-room scams thrive. Florida, it seems, must lead the pack.
I stayed on the line and got a female voice. She started to talk about lowering my credit card rate. I asked her what bank she represented. She said that we represent Visa and Mastercard. I told her to take down my phone number. She ignored me and continued with her script. I told her again and said that she was required to take down my phone number and remove it from their call list. She rudely said, "I am not going to take down your phone number" and hung up.
This is the third or fourth such call and the second hangup.
Call came from Florida to Kansas @ 14:57 on 5-15-09. Call not qnswered and no message left.
Other sites report this number as "Card Services", a scam to get your credit card number.
Default position is Delete!
Another "lower your credit card debt" scam. I hope the FTC gets these guys too!
Message said ... there is no problem with your account. But you can lower your interest rate to 6.9%
I let it go to answering machine, but my husband answered it the other day. They said it was "urgent regarding credit card account". My husband asked what card, exactly, they were called about and they hung up!
Message: Last notice to lower credit card debt. Press #9 to speak to someoone. When I had a persoon and told them I have asked repeatedly to be removed and that I am on the No Call list, they hung up.
Tried reporting on the No Call list but the phone number, 407-000-9876 is not recognized and I cannot submit.
These people are assholes. The moment I said that I wanted to take my number off their list they hung up on me. Fucktards.
Alias number for a phishing operation, most likely based in MacClenny, Florida. See my entry under 4070009821.
pressed 1 or whatever to talk to them. told them to take my name off list and he said "do not press number to tell me to take numberoff" so i told him to fuck his mother with a rusty knife and he said "i dont like that". i said "tuff shit" he saind he was reporting me to the police. i said "thats funny, a criminal calling the police" and he hung up.
This is the second call I received from this outfit or at least from this fictious number. They didn't leave a message but I suspect it's Credit Card Services again. To bad I was sleeping. I was in the mood to cost them some phone time.
Got the call from "credit card services". They hung up on me before I could even finish the sentence "Please remove me from your call..." CLICK.
Reported them here:
They call all the time. I just hit 9 and scream obscenities at them just to piss them off.
unknown company, unknown caller on caller id, no message left-filed complaint as i have do not call registry
This is one way groups that operate out of swat valley and other such areas fund their war, by credit card fraud. they also use document fraud and identity theft. In other words, these people could be raising money for osama.
NEVER give anyone information over the phone. If they claim they are calling from your financial institution, get their name and call back to the institution (not a number provided by the caller) to verify. Same goes for the Government, in fact the Government most likely won't call but issue a letter
left no message
The recorded voice says they are urgently calling regarding your credit card and asks you to hit "9" to speak to someone. I was connected with someone and requested to be taken off of their contact list. The young man told me "that will never happen so I should just not hit "9" when they call." I got 2 more calls from this number this morning which I ignored.
The let it go to voicemail, but they did not leave a message.
This is an identity theft ring. It's obviously a criminal enterprise when you have a fake phone number. That's your first clue.
I got this numberon the caller ID today gurrrlllzzzz. I knew it was not Rip Taylor... so I looked again. Gurlll... I was pissed. It was some phoney number from the Orlando FL area. The caller ID said "FLORIDA CALL." Honey, I knew it had to be some "Save the Seman Swallowers campaign agin." You know, the the group that is advocating that we all accept gay male seman swallowers, by donating to some sham liberal political co uncil. HOney, I'd give big, no pun intended, if you show me yo' stuff! You think we'z answering phones when we can't see yo' stuff? Cummon! Be real. As for this FTC thing, who punishes companies... That Bareback Omama dude needs to handle that agency. 100 days in, and we still can't see a dude's stuff on the other side of the phone. whaasss going on??? If you could not tell, I am on the "do not call list." they do not enforce it. I got tired of government not doing it's job. Change Change Change made things still the same. Yo' peeps is suckers if u thought yu were getting change, like the donot call list being enforced, by the FTC. Funny how we can be ruel to inmates from overseas, but cannot enforce the "Do not call" list.
called me and said, they were from credit card, nothing wrong with my cards, and she gave me girls name, at that time I hung up the phone. I get these calls all the time, and how can they get a number that is not real??? I am on the do not call list, but these people get me anyway. How can they get a telephone number that is not for real....?
It would be nice if the telephone companies would not allow telephone systems to give out false number. With todays technology one would think that the real number could be tracked. The 407-000-9876 is not real as QWEST told me and I'm sure who ever is calling is trying to get personal info on individuals they should not get.
Didn't pick up on this call. To bad I was in the mood to run up their phone bill. The caller ID said Florida Call. Funny thing is that I just got back from Florida the day before. Guess this is another credit card scam by the looks of the comments. I have been getting a lot showing New Brunswick Canada lately. Must have worn out that ficticious number so they are trying one in Florida. There has got to be a way to trace these calls back to their origin and shut these outfits down.
I got a call from this number and then about 30 minutes later I was talking to my friend and her call waiting beeped and she got a call from the same number. She can't report it because her computer is fried. Her ZIP is 26651
Definitely file a complaint at www.donotcall.gov
Here is how it works. They call you answer. A sucker is born. You give them your name, CC number and 3 digit card security on back. Since they have over 400+ telephone numbers to draw on, they care less now what you do. They can sell your card to anyone, and charges will come up on your card. At the current rate your card company dictated to you. We all know that CC companies are pure greedy bastards now, and no one lowers the rates, no one can outdo the CC companies. The thief got away from you because you have no idea what number to call to protest anything. As to name, Credit Card services, comes AAST Lodge 297, and about 30 other company manufactured names they come up with, none of which exists. You are just a sucker in the line to them. The mistake is made when you talk to them.
lower my credit card rate. pressed 9, they asked if i wanted to lower my rate on master card or visa to 6 per cent, i said yes, asked what my balance was. since i don't owe 3,000 or more they can't help. what a waste of time. will not answer any more calls from this number. when i tried to find out who this was, my info came up that i had received 28 calls from this same number
LOWER CREIT CARD call .. I pressed 9 . got ERIC (so he said) . I asked 'what is this about?' .. he said what can I help you with? .. do you want to lower your credit card? . .I said I did not think so .. he told me to have a nice day and hung up .. BEFORE I could use the TWO WORDS that would make a sailor blush .. I tried to dial it back .. got 'no such whatever' .. I hit reject on my phone blocker ..
These SCAMMERS have found a way to use numbers that are NOT their number .. always robotic . so you can hang up .. from now on . going to NOT answer unless I recognize the number .. This said florida and do have friends in florida . but I pretty much know their numbers .. AND I never have my answering machine ON .. that way . never have to phone anyone back . but do see the caller ID . soooo :)
Got the usual recording promising me that they could reduce my credit card rate. I pressed 9 when prompted and spoke with a woman who, in response to my question about who would reduce my rate, said that they worked with all 551 lenders and could help me with any of them. She insisted her company name was "Account Services" several times. Hung up on me after too many questions.
They call and say they want to reduce my CC bill, dial 9 to speak to a rep.,I hit 9 and it disconnected.I am unable to call the number. It doesn't go through.I am on the do not call list.
I received an automated message stating that the credit card co. (unknown) could lower my rates to 6% if I was interested press 9, so I did. They didn't specify which credit card nor did they mention the card holders name. Someone answered the call and as soon as I asked which card and who was the card holder she hung up on me. When I redialed the number all I get is a busy signal.
The usual credit card scam. Jackass hung up on me when I requested to be removed from their call list.
Directory shows 407 AC belongs to Orlando. No message, but trips answering machine on 4th ring & hangs up.
THIS PERSON SAID THEY COULD LOWER THE INTERST RATE ON MY CREDIT CARDS. THEY GOT ONLY BAD INFO FROM ME
Hangs up when I answer. No messages when answering machine picks-up.
Called me at 8:18 am on a Saturday 4-4-09 trying to find somebody named Michael born in 1983. Bill Collector
Another one in a series of over a hundred calls from this company. I've reported them numerous times to the Do Not Call list but it does no good.
unknown name and left no msg
THEIR COMPANY NAME IS "ACCOUNT SERVICES" THEY SAY THEY CAN LOWER YOUR INTEREST RATE ON YOUR CURRENT CREDIT CARD, TO TRY TO GET YOU TO BELEIVE THEY WORK FOR YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. THEY WANT TO GET ANY INFORMATION FROM YOU, AND THEN THEY WILL TRULEY SERVICE YOUR ACCTS. GIVE NO INFO TO THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCREWED. REPOTING DOESNT HELP. DO NOT CALL LIST DONT HELP. THEY ARE AN ILLEGAL COMPANY RUNNING A SCAM WHAT DO THEY CARE ABOUT LAWS AND LIST
I don't know what it will take to get it through to these people, but a small, thermonuclear device comes to mind.
This is one part of
Automotive Warranty Solutions, LLC
Their website is www.automotivewarrantysolutions.com
They do not answer their e-mails and even faxing them does no good.
I am also on the Do Not Call List but it doesn't seem to make any difference. These people should be hunted down and prosecuted.
They call and leave no message, I am so sick and tired these people can get away with calling even though we are on the do not call kist
PLEASE PLACE THIS NUMBER ON YOUR COMPLAINT LIST. CONTINUE TO CALL - DOES NOT ANSWER WHEN I PICK UP - DOES NOT ANSWER WHEN I CALL BACK, PRERECORDED MESSAGE STATES NUMBER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED OR IS NOT LONGER IN SERVICE. IF THIS NUMBER ACTUALLY IS BEING CALLED FROM COSTA RICA WITH A SWITCHBOARD IN FLORIDA - WHY - WHY - WHY CAN'T THERE BE SOMETHING DONE ABOUT IT?
I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THE FTC SUSPECTS THESE CALLS FROM FLORIDA ARE ACTUALLY BEING GENERATED FROM COSTA RICA THROUGH SOME SORT OF TELEPHONE SWITCHING SYSTEM.BEWARE FOLKS & KEEP ON REPORTING THEM.
I REPORTED THIS # TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION YESTERDAY.THEY SAID THIS IS A SCAM TRYING TO GET YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY # OR CREDIT CARD #. REGISTER YOUR HOME & CELL PHONE #'S WITH THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY [WHICH DOES WORK] & WHENEVER YOU GET A CALL LIKE THIS,REPORT IT.SOMETIMES A CALL WILL COME UP ON CALLER ID WITH A # & POINT OF ORIGIN & SOMETIMES IT WON'T.THE SCAMMERS CAN BLOCK SHOWING THEIR #.I'VE BEEN GETTING THESE FOR ABOUT A MONTH NOW & EVERY ONE COMES FROM FLORIDA.ACCORDING TO THE FTC THEY GENERATE CALL LISTS WITH MILLIONS OF NUMBER COMBINATIONS & JUST DIAL AWAY HOPING TO HOOK SOMEONE.

They Call us but we never answer. They have been reported to the FTC.
Roy - as much as I would like to do the same thing, it's not worth it. If you injure that person, you become liable for injuries. If you have the patience and time, it's more fun leading them on. Then tell them you have to go momies calling or something.. hi,
Filed complaint with FCC (online).
FCC form 1088..
Credit card scam
Received yet another call from these people claiming to lower my credit card interest rates. I am tired of these people so I decided to get a little payback. When they called I pressed 1 and got a live operator. I kinda mumbled and talked quietly so that the operator would raise the volume on his headset. After a couple of seconds, I aksed if he could hear me better and when he said yes I blasted the phone with one of those compressed air airhorns like they use at sporting events or on boats. Every policy that this company has for cursing was broken by him. I just started laughing and hung up on him. I figure they will take the number off or I can blast someone elses ear. Always breaks up the monotony of the day
scammers trying to get credit card info. the government should shut these people down, they are also behind the car warranty scam calls. i get these most everyday and they will not remove your number regardless of what you do. they disregard do not call lists and break laws and their typical take for anyone dumb enough to give them their credit card number is over $1000. they get your card number and call the credit card company to determine your card health and then make a charge, all the while swearing they will not charge you and they just need your card info to see if you qualify. if you sucker for this, you are really dumb.
I get these types of calls all the time. Today is the first time with this particular number. But I don't sweat it. In fact, I quite enjoy answering these calls sometimes and totally f**king with them. I know it's immature and childish to do, but this is how a typical "conversation" goes:
ME: Yeah, what the f**k do you want?!
THEM: Is this "Joe Blow"?
ME: Well, who the hell are you?
THEM: Again, sir, am I speaking with...
ME: What?! Speak up you puss, I can't hear what the f**k you're sayin'? Dumbass.
THEM: Uh, excuse me...
ME: There's no excuse for your ass, mutthafukka! Now, again, who the hell are you and what the f**k do you want?
THEM: Is this "Joe Blow"?
ME: Listen, you cocksucker, did I stutter? Who the f**k are you?!
THEM: I just need to confirm that I am speaking with "Joe Blow" and to discuss an important financial matter...
ME: Is that so? Well, I'm sorry but "Joe Blow" is busy getting his dick sucked by yo mama!
Usually by this point in the conversation, I've gotten them pissed off and we both end up in a big ol' cussing match trying to out-insult one another until one of us hangs up.
this is a call from a FALSE/FRAUDULENT/FAKE caller ID number
a SCAM TO GET CREDIT CARD INFO
they also use 321 235-8331 and 305 222-1966
This is my second time dealing with calls from these ppl. They call themselves "account services" but rarely will tell you which company they are "account services" for. Unfortunately, the first time they called, they caught me at a very vulnerable time. I was rather despondent over the amount we owed on credit cards and was really sick at the time as well. I was on heavy duty pain meds and not thinking straight at all. Even though I know better, I let them talk me into "helping" us that first time. I actually gave them our credit card #'s and info for 2 of our cards. After talking to them for a couple of days, I figured out that they were going to charge me a couple of thousand dollars for their "services". They talked fast over this point saying things like "you won't even notice it on your card", "it's like we do it for free". Ummmm....yeah. After a few days, when I was thinking straight again, I realized what I had done. When they called again to get my husbands authorization since the cards were all in his name (they set up times to call me, would not give me a number to call them), I told them that he wasn't going to authorize it and we wanted nothing more to do with them. They told me that was fine but that their fee would still be charged because I had made a "binding contract" with them. I told them there was no binding contract because 1., I wasn't authorized to do anything concerning these cards since they weren't in my name and 2., I could prove that I was under the influence of medication at the time I first talked to them. The girl said she needed to talk to her supervisor and then came back and told me that this one time they would not charge the fee. I said great, don't ever call again. And wouldn't ya know, here they are again. Btw, we didn't cancel the cards that I gave them the info on but I do monitor them them closely and as of yet (over a year later) no charges have been made on it. I guess we are lucky on that point. They are definitley scammers and beg ppl not to do what I did. In my right mind, I would never ever give credit card info to people over the phone. Another point, they don't claim to be an actual credit card company....they claim to be a company who can negotiate on your behalf to lower your interest. Newsflash, you can call your card companies and ask them directly to lower your interest, these companies can do nothing more than you can do yourself.
Scam claiming to lower credit card rates
Very rude and will hang up on you if you ask any questions.
DO NOT GIVE any credit card acct ###
This call which I don't answer is connected also to 409 400 8095
global reach int.
It seems that many people who get these calls are on the do not call registry.I believe these people are dangerous ...SO BEWARE and report.I got alot of help reading your e-mails ans I will follow thru on this...Together we might be able to get rid of these theives
Many messages at home and also I am a 911 dispatcher and we get them on that line also.
I asked for them to take me off the list and the woman stated "you need to press 2 for that" and hung up.
They must be getting desparate in these hard economic times. They left a message because they will have a truck in my area for pick up. I quit donating to them in our area because they got so picky about what they would take. Look who gets to be picky now...
My number is with the National Do Not Call Registry and they still calling me.
this company calls incessantly - if your phone number is recorded with the National Do Not Call Registry, the report them!!! I did!
This number, 800-728-7825, is now being spoofed by a collection agency (didn't identify which in a recorded message).
"Important message about your credit card ---"
I then hang up.
Do like I do...if they won't give name of company, tell them "Give the name, or get me off your list." If they start bull**iting you, give them the number of your lawyer. :)
KYZYL gave incorrect phone number below "THIS CALLER IS A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE" is correct though! The very nice gentleman getting a LOT of wrong numbers gave me the following website to post a complaint on: www.800helpfla.com If we flood them, surely they will do SOMETHING...
Hang-up call. Caller ID says "PTST LUCIE, FL". This is another "spoofed" phone number from the same scum bags who use hundreds of other fake numbers to try to scam people. The majority of junk calls I've received have area codes for Florida. It's too bad we can't block all of these calls. Our phone company (Frontier) is totally useless on this issue and the FTC seems unable or unwilling to do anything about it.
A recording saying that it was my last chance to lower my credit card interest rate ... again!
These people called last night wanting to discuss my credit cards. First off I don't discuss things like that with ANYBODY, second I would like too know how they got my number since we are on the do not call list. But apperantly that doesn't mean squat to some companys. When I explained to the caller/rep that we don't have any credit cards he hung up without even saying sorry to bother you or have a nice evening. Of course what can one expect from a fly by night group. Of course the number is disconnected!
THIS CALLER IS A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE; PLEASE REPORT ALL CALLS TO:
Richard Otway Regulatory Consultant Florida Division of Consumer Services Phone: 850-410-3699 Fax: 850-410-3801 Complaint File # 0804-1293/RO
I am at home sick, and the phone rang with an out of area and phone number of 772-336-8160 on the caller ID. I pick up the phone to hear a fast recording about my credit card interest rates. We get called often, and from other numbers. I really wish these people will leave us alone.
My wife got this call. Unfortunately, she gave them information on two of her credit cards including all 16 digits, but not expiration date. She then called me afterewards. We have since canceled the cards. The nerve of these people.
they have called my elderly father twice this week, telling him that his account is overdue, needs to be paid or will be closed. won't let him get a word in edgewise; very rapid fire speech pattern and they act very irate with him. won't tell him what company they are calling from (and no, he's not overdue on any of his accounts). extremely upsetting to him, a man in his eighties with a serious heart condition. both my sister and i called the number that showed on his caller id and got a "number disconnected" recording.
this is the lowest kind of scum. the type that preys on The Greatest Generation.
I received a call from this number, was told to press 1 to talk to a representative. The person I was directed to asked a number of questions about my credit card usage and amounts due. He then zeroed in on one account, asking for the last 4 digits of my Social Security number, the expiration date of the card in question and amount outstanding. He said that they could lower my interest rate if I would provide the full credit card number. I said no way over the phone to someone I did not know. He hung up! A scam it sure sounds like!!
They call here constantly. To "lower your credit card rates" or "last chance for your warranty". If you tell them not to call, they hang up. If you don't answer, they don't leave message.
I got one of the last chance to lower your interest rate on your credit card call again. I pushed 1 and connected with a guy, asked how I was doing and I went along waiting for the chance to see who it was then ask to be taken off the list, like it would do any good. He almost started on a speal, then he upbruptly stopped and said let me call you back and hung up. hmmmm I am on the do not call list too... Kinda weird
lower your credit card rates
Automated system claims "this is my last chance for lower interest rate on my credit card." I don't have any credit cards so this is obviously a scam.
First off, this sounds like these guys still heatherwithaccountservices.com
Second there is something that you can do. Get yourself an Asterisk server, port your POTS to SIP, and then blacklist the SOBs. You'll save *LOTS* of money and have *TOTAL* control over how your calls are handled.
Forget the DNCL, its only for the legitimate marketers, the scammers could care less. And when there caught the DNCL will be the least of their problems.
have rec'd more than a few of these; this was for a lower interest rate. when a 'customer serv rep' came on the line, I requested the name of the credit card company and a supervisor. they hung up on me. when you call back, it says number is disconnected.
if it was not a scam and you are on the 'do not call list' such callers identify themselves, apologize and advise they will insure you are NOW on the list.
a possible scam or fraud will just hang up on you - AND these are not from over seas but right in the USA with good old American callers.
FRAUD ALERT: THIS COMPANY LEAVES A MESSAGE STATING THAT THEY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT YOU ABOUT YOUR CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT AND TO PRESS ONE TO IMMEDIATELY SPEAK TO A REPRESENTATIVE. AFTER YOU PRESS ONE A PERSON WILL ASK YOU FOR ALL SORTS OF CREDIT CARD NUMBERS AND INFORMATION. THIS IS A SCAM...DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE. A REAL CREDIT CARD COMPANY WOULD NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE STATING THEY ARE CALLING ABOUT CREDIT CARDS.
Called my wife and told her they could lower my credit card rates. She said it was not her name on the account. He said "let me check with my manager" and came back and told her it was fine she could authorize it. She set up a conference call with me (Iwas at work) . The gentleman "Michael - employee ID 75120" could not figure out how to conference so I did it for him. He said he worked for Visa and Mastercard when we asked him who he worked for. We asked him 3 times what company he works for and finally said "acountt services, inc." Yes, that's how he spelled account. He said Visa and MC had sent him info on us and we qualified to have our interest rates lowered and that after he was done he would conference us with the cardholders and we could hear him negotiate a lower rate. A bunch of other BS and upon questioning he said he would need our account numbers to make sure "there were no late payments in the last 6 moinths". I said there were, he said "how many" I said 2. He said "that's ok as long as it is under 5" at which point we terminated the call.
Caller ID: 772-336-8160
Caller: none on the ID, claimed "acountt service
I've gotten several messages from this number offering to lower my credit card interest rate. It's a prerecorded messages...how do they get around the "DO NOT CALL LISTING?" I'm really fedup with these type of calls. Guess there's not a thing we can do about them, either!
Recorded message trying to get me to lower my credit card rate. Obviously a scam, apparently switched from the satellite dish one below.
When you call this number back, it says it's disconnected. Obviously, it's not REALLY a legit satellite or credit card company--it's an illegal pfishing scam operated by criminals who are trying to get our credit card numbers. That's why they call even though we're on the "Do Not Call" list...what the hell do they care if they're not supposed to call us? They're breaking the law anyway!
Just got a call from this number, it was a recording saying that it was my last chance to lower my credit card interest rate.
Thats what they said last time. Don't ever say anything to these things just hang up. They are clever at twisting things you say.
Received a call from this number but the answering machine was off. I didn't aswer the call. The funny thing is that this BS "Do not call" list is garbage. ANOTHER, non-working, program that the government has half assed!
called me no message
Recorded message offering tv satellite dish---also spoke to a rep---told him to never call again because I am on the DO NOT CALL list---He asked me for my phone number---and then abruptly hung up----THIS TYPE OF CALL IS A PAIN IN THE ASS!!!
Recorded message offering satellite dish stuff. Offers to take you off their list by pressing 9 or to talk to a representative by pressing 1.
Said she was Rachael from Card Services. NO way to opt out. Wanted to help me lower my credit card rate. I don't have a credit card.
Never leaves a message
This is the National toll free number for the Salvation Army Stores Donation line to schedule pick ups of donations. It is also known as: 1-800 SA TRUCK You can ask them to be put on their Do Not Call (DNC) list if you happen to answer the call and talk to someone. Most Non-Profit, religious or other charity organizations are very nice about putting you their DNC list.
The called and left message; I have called previously without result, call me at this extension.
Persistent repeat caller
Others have reported this number as Salvation Army. If so, I don't care that they're non-profit... while they're not legally bound by the DNC, they should comply. As it is, I will NEVER donate anything to them!
did not leave a message
"Boyajian Law Offices" - now calling from a different number than before. Tired of those guys!!!
Nothing on caller ID exept unavailable.
