How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Caller told he was representing Silverstar Construction and that he could be reached at 818-514-6243.
answered call (should not have) caller had a deep accent, asked for my wife and I said she was not here. Then the caller asked if it was her who had diabetes and I said no. After other questions I said I do not have to answer your questions and hung up phone. Two calls same day.

I've recieved five calls from this number in the last few days, and when I answer they just hang up. Annoying
Caller identified herself as Joy with the Yellow Pages.
This is a marketing company...they call our business identifying themselves as "a supervisor for the Yellow Pages". We aren't listed in the yellow pages and we've threatned to turn them into our state attorney general for calling 2-3 times a week and bothering business. Very rude...never the same person calling. Most of the time we just hang up as they jam our switchboard so customers can call in.
I just got a call from this number. Answered and they hung up. Within 30 secs I got a call from 508-691-5373 and the same thing happened. Maybe this will get us closer to the source.
No message, but has called every day for about five days and twice today.
The number is actually 011-987-654-3210- most likely one those the 'your auto warranty is about to expire' scams, or a 'lower your interest rate' scam. Either way- don't answer in about a year they will go away & come back using another number. ASSWIPES WON'T GO AWAY!!
If you don't know who's calling ignore the call, if it's impotant they will leave a message.
They have called my phone the past few days and angry when the phone was answered by my boss. No message left, no name given.
These idiots are now calling multiple times an hour. I have set my phone to not ring when this number calls, but they just keep on trying. The one time I picked up the phone when they called, it just hung up immediately.
When I saw the clever phone number, I figured it would be something commercial so didn't answer. They did not leave a message.
My answering machine picked it up...no message left...sigh.
As I was expecting a call, like a total idiot I picked up. Nobody there. Dang! Now they've just added my number to their valid number list.
