Who Called Us

Have received call from this number many times in the past few weeks. Have pressed the "2" for the "do not call", but I guess that just lets them know your phone number is active, because they continue to call. Have filed complaints with National Do Not Call, because these are robo calls, and even when I pressed the 1 and got salesman, then reguest to be removed, they just hung up, and a few hours later, another call, same phone.

Stop calling numbers that are DNC National Registered, like mine! What you're doing is illegal.

In response to the person who asked if there wasn't something to stop these scammers? There is, but it is never used. It still costs you millions of dollars in taxes, though.

No one there and it's a daily call.

This number has shown up on the caller id for the past several days. Probably a scam.

I have recieved several calls from this phone number and it is always an unknown name.
I let my answering machine pick it up, but as always, no one will talk!
It seems that these people that are making these calls must not want to talk.
No one! should have to put up with these Harasser's. There should be some way to stop them.

ROBO CALL... something about security systems.....DON'T ANSWER!!!

Buy a whistle and use it! I did and do. However, PLEASE make sure it is a scammer you are blowing up and not a marketing RESEARCH person. Phone numbers listed w/the Federal DNC list are not to be contacted by telemarketers as they are asking for money and/or trying to sell you something. On the other hand,marketing research folks are calling for opinions, therefore, they are not bound by the DNC laws.

Have a computer with a voice phone line modem then check out Phonetray free on the internet. Once they call add to list and bothered no more. Run it in the background on your everyday computer.

Ugh, after researching to stop these phone calls from 973-273-7822, I found out there are spoofed calls! The user hadn't used this phone number for months and the phone number was cancelled off their account. Therefore, the caller is illegally putting this phone number into the caller ID. Unfortunately, because of this there's nothing that can be done to track the caller.

"Let us put a small sign in your yard and get a free security system." Scam. I pressed one. Talked to the person and told him that this phone call was illegal since our number is on the do not call list. (I realize that they don't care about the law). After that he and another guy began to mockingly say, "Oh no he got us, what are we going to do?" Bunch of scum bags.

I did not answer the phone but this is not the first time I received a phone call from a number like this.

Caller wouldn't talke to my amswer machine but they held on quietly (sounded like a blank tape running) for 15-20 seconds & then they hung up.

They called again today. I did answer, but no one was on the line. I Call Blocked this number. I am sure they have other numbers, but these guys just called last month.

I answered the phone and immediately hung up.

And they're back. They call a while and get no answer and leave no message. They stop a bit and then they start up again. Wonder what part of "NOT ANSWERING" they don't get?!
