Who Called Us

Calls several times during the week at random hours. Possibly an automated computer dial up programmed to see what time you pick up the phone. It does nt matter if you pick up the phone or let the answering maching kick in. Either way you lose....they will always call....Do Not Call does NOT work.

Nightly calls from same number. ID shows unknown.

I didn't pick up, they didn't leave a message.

I have receive calls from this number a couple of time but I never answer my phone unless I am familiar with the number ...it does not leave a messages and I never try to call these numbers back...I have heard that these phone calls are used to call up people at certain times of day to record that time if someone answers for telemarketers so they can call at the appointed time the call was picked up...
I do however check the phone number out on whitepages.com to see what sort of business it is by doing a reverse look up but like many this number says it was called from a land line and nothing more

People, these calls are being placed (quite illegally) by one of several scam telemarketing companies headquartered in Florida. If you want to find out more about their identities and which law enforcement agencies to report them to (the only way to get them to stop calling you), go to heatherwithaccountservices.com for the info. Trying to report them using the fake numbers that they illegally place on your Caller ID or their fake name of "Card Services" or Financial Services" is a waste of time.

Unknown number and no name - do not answer unknown callers. Hung up when my answering machine picked up - no message. I am on the do not call list and political and survey calling are exempt from the law. If you have issues contact the attorney general's office in your state and file a formal complaint. This site is to report callers only. The political madness has begun....I am thankful for caller id.

Okay.. I got this call, and did not answer. I only came here to see if anyone else had heard from these people. It's shocking to read all the "Please Remove Me From Your Call List" posts on here. This website is not for THAT. It only tells you who you are getting calls from. Asking people to stop calling you on here will do no good. Give it a rest.

Yet another number for the "car warranty" and "lower interest rates" scumsucking lowlife bottomfeeders. I no longer believe there is any way to stop them, so I now keep one of those airhorns, the kind you keep on a boat as a distress signal, that generates about 150db next to the phone. I press the "1" and wait for "Michael" or "Annette" or whatever name they are using today to answer the call, then I speak very quietly, trying to sound like an older, confused person so I am sure they are reallllly paying attention and maybe even turning up their headsets.... Then I give them about a 2 second blast and hang up. It's a little hard on my ears as well, but if I deafen just one of those bastards, it will have been worth it.

I don't understand why nothing can be done about these people... they HAVE to be connecting to the phone system SOMEWHERE... I guess it's just not important enough for our elected officials to bother with. They have servants to answer their calls, after all...

Call starts with a recorded message for credit card lower interest, you push one to tell caller to remove your name from call list and caller pretends to not understand the number or name you give to them, when asked to be removed she hung up.

Great recorded message:"Don't be alarmed but this it your last chance to lower interest rates...."
No idea who they are and they've bloody annoying!!

Picked up the phone and a woman mumbled something about "lower interest rates. Are you interested?" I asked her what the name of the company or bank was and she hung up. That's a great way to make a sale scam or not!

They called today at 3:17PM. Left no message. Was able to find this number listed under the following companies and people.

Received 2 calls from this number yesterday, first I hung up, second call I pressed 2 for do not call again. Call today, I pressed 1 for an agent & I asked who this was. They want to give me a better rate on something or other. She's supposedly taking my name off list.

Didn't answer as unreconizable. Rang a lot. On do not call list.

I was on another call, so did not flash over because Caller ID indicated the call was coming from a Florida number, and I know no one in Florida. I have been on the DNC Registry for 5 yrs!

these baboons have been to before I am on the DNC. LEAVE ME ALONE. Perhaps you need a proctologist.

Received call on 8/7/2008 11:10am on my telephone recorder. Female voice pitching "lower your credit card rates" etc.
call was from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. I immediately placed a complaint on the Fed. Do Not Call list which I have been registered since 2004. I advise all other DNC list to register a complaint. Eventually, some branch of local, state and/or federal government will act on the complaints if they receive enough them.

Did not answer. Fort Lauderdale FL showed up on phone...proud to say I know very few people in FL. So, I did not and will not answer.

Answered phone caller offered a change in interest rate on loan. Requested me to press "1" to talk to customer service. Hung up.

Account Services called promising ot lower interest rate on CC

Caller ID showed number..did not answer..no message...blocked # for future calls.

Do not give out any information to this number. They told me they were a financial service to help reduce your debt. The phone did ring a long time and probably because the call is being transfered to a different number. BUT....it sounds more like someone trying to get your name and credit card number to use for their benefit.
Glad someone has reported this to the State of Washington. I will also be doing that.

I am on the Do Not Call list - after the 4th call today - I ushed 1 and spoke with someone from Financial Services offering to reduce my interest rate - I do not even have a credit card - I told them that and that I was on the DNC list - They told me it was not them calling me - it was an automated call system - I reexplained that I was on the DNC list and they are not to call me anymore! Then 5 minutes later they called back again!! I just reported them - If you are on the DNC list - I suggest you report them - They won't stop until someone makes them!

Call on caller ID, Called back and number disconnected

Not only are we on the national "do not call" list, but automated dialing is illegal in Washington State, with a $500 penalty. I'll be reporting them to our attorney general, but since the number is disconnected when you try to call it back, I doubt they'll get busted. Too bad.

I picked up the phone and there was a sales pitch about a "one time offer", lower rates, etc., press "1" if you're interested. I pressed 1, after a long wait got "Annette" from Financial Services who would not identify the company or the nature of the call without my name and phone number. I told her that I was on the national no call list and by federal law they were not allowed to call me unless we had done business and she had not provided complete identification. She offered to put me on their "internal" do-not-call list, hung up when I asked her again if she was aware of the law. Got the number off caller ID, tried to call it back and got disconnected number message.

Call came in at 5:06 P.M. Aug. 5th 08, I tried to return the call only to find the number had been disconnected. Remove me from your call list if you are a telemarketer as I am already on the National Do Not Call list. Should this happen again, you will be reported.

Call came in at 1:51PM today. I was on the other line, long distance, so I didn't answer. Called back just about 3 minutes later, got a recording that the number was disconnected. Weird? Anyone know what this is?
