They are calling with car warranty scams all over the country. Looked up some information and it appears to be a company called "american choice" which I can't find anything on google about, but looking on other complaints on this site, it appears to be affiliated with awsdirect.com and automotivewarrantysolutions.com which a whois query lists as: Admin: Ralph Mancuso, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. E-mail ralphmancuso1@aol.com and a phone number of 954-202-6158.
The domain names are registered with Yahoo Domains in Sunnyvale, CA. email:domain.tech@yahoo-inc.com (619)881-3096.
I have personally filed 2 FCC complaints about this company. Go to fcc.gov and file one so we can get this company shut down.

I actually recived a post card in the mail (which I paid no attention 2) about car warranty a 2000 GMC Truck I think. ( I Don't Drive a Truck I drive a Ford Car) They called me and said my car warranty was exp. soon (My I have hunder thousand mil. warranty on my car) I pressed 2 to talk to a rep. The Hoe was very rude I got loud with her and she hung up on me. I try to call back bitched her out again and hung up on me again. I try to call again and the number was disconnected WTF.

Called me too. It is very annoying. Apparently this company uses telemarketing to do it's advertising, but the warranty itself is not a scam.

and people are supposed to press 2 to be removed from list which does nothing or press 1 to talk to us which we thank them for calling and ask them if they want info on auto warrany extending reinstating ect. our training was only 15 minutes for the job its a total scam!

I plug 954-424-6715 in a phone search and the only item that came back was the city(Plantation) and state(FL.).

Caller hung up when I answered with my business name, googled the number and got this site.

I have multiple Emergency Only lines and this number calls each one everyday. When I call back it says number is no longer in service. How is this possible?

I had receive call from this number in two opportunities, but when I try to call back, there is a machine that said "THE NUMBER IS NO MORE IN SERVICE... bla bla bla bla"

It's a scam! Perhaps the Attorney General department of Consumer Fraud should take a good look at 954 424 6715. Florida seems to have more than it's share of telemarketing scammers.

Unkown name and number but received previous from this exact number. When I pressed 1 to speak with an agent. I don't carry a balance but when i asked her for which card company she was representing. The lady on the other end was rude, cussed me out, and hung up.

My wife answered and the recorded message said our warranty on our new Nissan (which we just purchased a couple of months ago) had expired. I held the line and when the person answered the phone I asked him who he was with. He said "Dealer Services." I asked again and he said "Dealer Services, Dealer Services, Dealer Services ... Goodbye!", and then hung up on me.

No one on the line, I could here my own voice echoing back in the phone, hung up it took approximatly 45 seconds to one minute before I had a dial tone on my phone again, called the number back 1 day later and recieved a message stating that this # is no longer in service. This is the second time I have had a similar incidence over the phone. Seems very strange.

We dont answer callers whose ID in the Caller ID box dont tell us who they are, or if we suspect the info is false... (Something for you phone spammers and phishers out there reading this to mayB take note of. We also report these places to the
FCC (online use the "form 1088" at the FCC website : esupport.fcc.gov ) since we are on the Nat.DO NOT CALL List...

Called me w/recorded msg about credit card info. Pressed 1 for rep; have pressed 3 to be removed from list (10 times @ least)! I requested to talk w/supv & was asked 'if the answerer' could help. I ask if she was supv & said no; then made request again. She stated very firmly "can I help you ma'am. When I made request 3rd time I was hung up on! I am on the 800-do not call list but for the past few months this list has lost creditability w/solisitors!

Wanted to reduce my credit card interest rate. When woman answered asked what company she was with and said she would transfer me. I am still on hold trying to find out who they are. Right now on hold for 13 minutes

Called to lower interest on rate on my credit cards. I do not have credit cards. I am on the Texas do not call list and the federal do not call list. I have been on the list for at least a year. They said I should not have answered the phone. How about they should not have called me? I am reporting to both do not calls list as harrassing call.

It is my impression that the phone companies are partially to blame by allowing these jerks to aquire phone numbers that do not provide info of who caller is. The phone companies are protecting these scammers preventing us the public from protection while all the while chargeing us for calller ID that doesnt work because of the fact that they give out numbers that cannot be traced. What a scam by the phone companies as well.

Was selling "credit card services." I said something politically incorrect and they hung up.

I've left a message suggesting that his business practices are horrible and unethical, and that one day someone is going to get pissed off enough at him to litigate. And I kind of don't mind bothering him at work, since his company bothered me at work four times in the last two hours.

just recieved a second call from these guys. I told them I have 3 cars. Asked which one is out of warranty? Could not answer the question. I continued to ask until I got tired of listening to bogus excuses. I then asked if this company was from Ft. Lauderdale and she said "yes.. Umm.. actually it's located in Missouri. heheh. Maybe they can at least me slowed down or they may give up if just as many people leave them horrifying rude and threatening messages. how about repeated bull horn blasts??? They deserve it. Said they were calling from my credit card company and wanted to confirm my account number. I asked which card - they replied all. I asked again which company and they hung up.

No msg left. I have previously reported this no. to donotcall.gov list but it doesn't seem to have any effect. God bless the politicians and their muddle-headed constituents. Another government boondoggle that is all promises and no delivery!

His nam was Adam. He wouldn't tell me the company name except "The Warranty Division." When I asked "warranty for what?" he hung up.

This is the 3rd time they called. This time it was an automated message asking me to renew a vehicle warranty which is funny as my car is 20 years old and had been out of warranty a looooong time and has never had a warranty while I owned it.

Getting calls from this number but they don't leave a message. When I called the number back the recording said it was disconnected. I assume this is not a message from the phone company but one they have in place. Oh I can't WAIT for them to call back... I am going to have FUN with this one. I am going to waste their time and act like I am interested... give them a CC number (fake of course) and everything.

I did some research on the phone numbers it is a discontinued number for a Pensacola, FL business thereby making any complaint useless. Last week it was a Fort Lauderdale, Fl discontinued number again making any complaints useless.

These people from this number are selling after market car repair policies and when you tell them that you drive an 1989 Volvo they hang up on you and when you call them back to be taken off of their do not call list the recording says that this number is no longer in service...These people sound oriental or foreign and they have called numerous times during the day and evening, the last time was 12:22 p.m. 6/11/2007 - They also said my car repair warranty was up...

Pressed 1 for more information. They wanted to know my make, year and model - I asked who the hell this was on the phone and they hung up in a hurry. This was in Oklahoma.

Got a call today about car warranties. When I got someone on the phone I asked what company he was with and he hung up. This is the 2nd number from "FT Lauderdale" to call within a week. This is a voice activated call, I answered the call & didn't say anything. Then I said- "la-la-la", & a recording started with a recorded voice saying he was "Jim" somebody, I hung-up before it completed. I called the ph# back & received a message telling me that I had reached a "disconnected phone #..." That's funny, how can it be disconnected if someone just called me from it??

Vehicle warranty on a vehicle with over 120,000 miles! Cmmon! Talked to TWO humans. Wanted 385.00 up front then over 100.00 a year for the next five years and 100,000 miles of coverage.

Called with recorded message stating that my vehicle warranty was about to expire and offered a chance to renew. I have no vehicle that is still in warranty.

It's a warranty extension scam that's called our house several times. When you push the button to have your number removed, it says it's an invalid entry. When you push the button to be disconnected, someone answers and IMMEDIATELY hangs up when you asked to be removed from the list, but then they keep calling.
I filed a complaint on the "Do Not Call Registry." Please do the same and let's stop these scammers.

OK Folks, the thing to do is get in touch with your state attorney general and request a form to file a written complaint about a telephone scam. When enough paperwork is generated things will start moving. This will hopefully get Florida's law enforcement machine to move in and shut these people down.

It is likely these calls aren't really even coming from Fort Lauderdale or maybe even Florida. itellas.com offers "Caller ID Spoofing" (as do several other companies) that let them fake the ID display. Calling these numbers back says they are not in service of disconnected, which is probably true and they are just being spoofed. Wrote to the Ft. Lauderdale Sheriff's department who basically said, "Since you didn't fall for it, there's nothing we can do because no crime was committed".... I see no way these people can be stopped, but I'd suggest getting a good airhorn and at least deafening "Michael" and "Linda" when they call... complete scumbags....

Unknown caller on the afternoon of 9 June 2007. Hung up when I answered. I tried return dialing the number immediately, and I received an automated "this number has been disconnected" error message -- which seems very weird to me.

Wasn't home for original call but when I called back it said the number was a "non-working number or one that was no longer in service." I call the call at 9:59am June 8, 2007.

Phishing for Automotive Extended Warranty Sale. I stated that I currently had an extended warranty policy. He Hung Up on me! I have gotten calls supposedly from other companies, from this same number. Probably a contractor calling service. Apparently not concerned about the Do Not Call List Law.

No message left. Hint: Whenever I receive a call from unidentified number, I start with "Yes" or "Hummm" insted of "Hellow". Generaly this fulls the automated recording message. And u get good time to blast at those crucks!

Recorded message inviting me to talk with Account Services to lower APR on one of my credit cards. Pressed #1 to be transferred and rep asked me if I had over $2200 in outstanding debt. I responded "yes" and then I asked which credit card company she was calling from. She hung up.

I called back this number. A recording said that it was out of service.

They were looking for credit card info. What gets me is that we have a Tele-Zapper that blocks most of these calls. They must have new technology to get around it.

This was clearly a call to 'sell' you something. I figured I would find out the name of the company and submit it to the complaint dept of the do not call list. However, when I pressed 1 to speak to a real person, I asked may I please have the name of the company who is calling? She abruptly said "you can NOT" ! She said if you want to be removed from our calls stay on the line. I think the burden is on THEM to get the do not call list. So I hung up on her and later, got the VERY SAME automated introduction but on a blanked out number!

The call was a recorded message about extended warranties. "To remove your name from this offer, press 9," which just saves the message to my voice mail. I believe this is a boiler room operation running several scams, given the varied nature of these calls to others (warranty, credit card interest rates). I let the machine get it this call, as I didn't recognize the name on the ID.

I got a call from this number caller ID said: FLORIDA. NO message was left.

NO answer , this number has called before, sometimes it is a hang up if the fax answers, they never leave a message or it has been warranty coverage. I quizzed the man about how he would knwo if my warranty was up. he claimed that it shows at the dmv. he wanted to verify all my priavte info and that's when I dropped the bomb shell on him that I had no cars or insurance in my name. He hung up on me.

claimed to be 'Card Services', recorded message said press 1 if you want to lower your interest rates. I pressed 1 and was asked if I had more than $2500 in debt. I asked caller if she thought I was born yesterday. She replied 'day before yesterday', and hung up.
