Message about lowering credit card rate the first time - husband hung up, this time didn't answer - no meassage left.
They have called numerous times, and each time I selected number 2 to have my number removed from the calling list. This time I pressed 1 to speak to a representative, to verbally ask them to remove us. I was then told by the guy on the phone"you can put my penis in your face", and "I was man meat gobbler". Very inappropriate!!!!
Typical credit card spammer with an offer to reduce debt, lower interest rates, etc. Waste of time, as usual.
The recorded message is a warning about our credit card rates going up unless we take "action now". The action I take is to slam the receiver down. We have been receiving these calls for over a year and we are very frustated.
Caller claimed they represented "Credit Card Services" and tried to get me to give him my Visa number, then disconnected when I insisted that they give me a callback number. I suspect this is a credit card fraud and could result in some people being ripped off.
Received call today "Long Distance" (949) 256-9110 - no message left. Good to know I would have wasted my time by anwering.
949-256-9110 just called again. This time I found out why when the answering machine picks up you only hear them hang up. Because it is automated but they start talking as soon as the answering machine does and do not wait for the beep. This time I had picked up the phone while my answering machine just kicked on so my answering machine didn't realize I picked up and was playing and I heard the recording this time. The recording of 949-256-9110 was in the process and was already at the part where the lady says "this is your final courtesy call" ...
In other wards it was that Credit Card one .. which I do not OWN any and I have had this number for over 5 years so it is not like they have the wrong number!
3rd number to call me in 2 days with the same type of thing .. it is getting really bad .. first off .. I do NOT OWN credit cards! 2nd .. I did that opt out which seemed to work only for maybe 6 months ..
949-256-9110 this time at 4:15pm EST Wed Nov 18th 2009 but last 2 times were from 9048630217 and 9048630208
I wish they would leave me alone! Isn't there a way to stop the harassment? It would be different if I actually OWNED any credit cards!

Recording said "This is your final call to receive a lower interest rate on your credit card. Press one for details or press two and we won't remind you again." I pressed OFF.
