Too many loopholes in the system . As with everybody else calls ,calls calls and hang up-call back # is out of service. Must be a real genuine political fundraiser. !! This is precisely why DNC was invented.

Caller asked for Mr. May - advised he was not in and asked who was calling. I advised him he was calling a "Do Not Call" and was informed that did not pertain to him. When asked why it would not pertain to him that I needed to know he said again that did not pertain to him and that he did not know why - was Mr. May in? When again told no he said he would call later to which I responded that he was not to do that. 09.21.10 - 1:25 PM

Caller asked for my oldest daughter, and when I said she has not lived here for several years she said she was calling on behalf of the Dream Act and wanted to know if I would participate in a short survery. I said no and asked that our name be removed from their list. They called yesterday also while I was at work. No message left.

Unknown - Hung up. Saw on another board it might be a call center for immigration reform.

july 14 15 16 three calls each day. ansered it today thay hung up i called back recording says number not in service.who ever it is has alot of balls but will have none if i catch up with them.

I support immigration reform. I do not support getting calls from phonebanks supporting political positions.

For some reason, we seem to get phonebank calls on both (or more) sides of every issue--I'm glad I don't take stuff as seriously as some of the commenters here! Phonebank calls suck, but politicians and organizations on every side of every issue use them.

I too got a call today at 10:05 am from this number, but didn't answer it because I couldn't reach the phone in time. Caller ID showed San Ramon, CA.

After stating that we have no borders and that the southern states belong to them, why would anyone support these people?

Have been getting a series of hang ups, I too am on do not call list but this doesn't seem to stop them; called my local phone company, next to useless in trying to do something about the problem especially since they wanting me to pay for blocking a call that they won't trace! Suggested I call my local police dept for reimbursement of block, can you believe it! Hopefully they will eventually stop calling...

CALL APPEARED AS CALIFORNIA IN MY CALLER ID. JUST A TROUBLEMAKER.

Have had numerous calls from this number. An individual called our business line, and asked for my wife by full name. Which is simply impossible. My wife has never identified by full name on such business line, nor given this business line to anybody. We are concerned about these phone calls, and the invasion of privacy.

I have had 3 calls in 4 days. The first one asked for my husband by name, he was the one who answered. He said, "This is he" and they hung up. This morning I answered the call, a gentleman with a middle eastern accent asked for my husband, I told him he was not here and asked to take a message and he replied, "No message". I asked who he was and he hung up. When I call the number back, it says it has been disconnected or is no longer in service. I called local phone company and they suggested blocking the number for 3.75 a month, which I have done. I called San Ramon police and they suggested I contact local police and file a report and then if local police want to follow up, they can contact San Ramon police department. This is crazy!

Keep getting calls and hang up. Will not leave a message on answer phone.

How do get these people to stop? Twice a day, every day this week! They ask for my son and barely speak English. Different caller every time stately something about immigration reform. WTH? I tell them I don't support it and they call again anyway the next day!

Received two calls from this number 3/23 and 24. no message, followed up each time by "Out of area" call on caller id. I'm in Ohio.

Mexican accented male wanted me to call our Senator to support reform for illegal immigrants. Boy, he called the wrong person....In no way do we support reform for illegal immigrants. My husband was laid off and now works temp to hire 50 hours per week for half the wage he used to make, with no affordable healthcare available. Both my parents worked over 35 yrs to retire and now have lost their healthcare benefits..YOU DON'T WANT TO TALK TO ANYONE IN OUR FAMILY ABOUT BENEFITS FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS!!!

I took a call from this number just before 6:00 p.m., 04 March 10. The caller asked whether I would participate in a march for immigration reform to be held on the National Mall on March 21.

Perfectly reasonable request. My earlier comment, below, noted that a lot of these comments are angry. I don't think the anger is justified. I probably won't go to the march, but I don't think the call was improper -- just a request, that's all.

I've gotten several calls from them. Haven't answered. Some of these comments say the callers are pushing "free" healthcare for illegal immigrants. Many of the comments are angry.

Maybe that's the point -- to make you angry enough about healthcare reform to call your Senators and Representative in opposition to reform.

They're calling from D.C., not California. One of the callers let it slip. I got four damned calls today, some crap about immigration. You basically have to cuss them out and really blast them. Tell them to stop calling you in a way even a moron could understand. They'll pester the living crap out of you otherwise. The caller ID is simulated by the computer that places the calls. I think it's a political action committee or something. Whatever it is, they're the most annoying f#%kers on the face of the earth. Cuss them the hell out when they call.

The calls come in from this number and I always get a hang-up when I answer. Too rude! Privacy invasion! There otta be a law!

A male with a heavy Indian accent asked for my roommate. Me: Sorry, he's at work. Them: Well, this is actually a message for everybody in Virginia. Me: Sorry, I don't know everybody in Virginia and I certainly wouldn't dream of calling up people I don't know as far too many people do these days. Them: (totally clueless) Well, actually, madam, we are looking for people to assist with immigration problems. Me: Well, I suggest you call a lawyer then. He: *hang up* (Guess he wasn't that clueless after all!)

These people have called multiple times, even after I spoke to them and told them I did not want to be connected to my Senator's office to tell him to support a current bill. And they are using an autodialer, which is supposed to be illegal.

Telemarketer asking for support of Senator Menendez's amendment to the Health Care Reform bill. His amendment will allow "legal" immigrants to get health care under the bill. I asked for the relevant section of the HCR Act that bans medical services/insurance to "legal" immigrants as well as the amendment information and they hung up on me. They have called back twice since then, but haven't left a message.

Female with a thick hispanic accent wanting me to contact Senator Melendez (??) to support his amendment to give free health care to illegal immigrants. Told her I don't get free health care, why the he_ _ should they????

Simple answer folks. Do as they request and contact your senator by email. Then tell your senator that these folks are violating the Do Not Call list and that you want your senator to vote against any issue that benefits illegal immigrants. Any issue. Recommend additional resources be given to the Border Patrol and ICE. These people may be a pain in the a**, but we can change their entire lives. And ours.

Caller was male and a very thick foreign accent. This was about the 3rd or 4th call to our house during the day and I finally picked up the last one. He wanted to talk to my husband by requesting him by name and I told him he was a work and he said "bless you". All I could really understand is that he said he was calling to offer something free????? to my husband and he would call at a better time.

Have called a few times the past couple of days - usually in the AM - and do not leave a message. I was fed up today so I answered the call after the third ring and they had already hung up. Aggghhhhh!!! If the below comments are correct about the reason for the calls, that is NOT an effective way to get support for your cause.....by pissing people off with constant phone calls.

about 4 calls starting on Nov. 13. Two at 8:38 am MST.They are pretty luck I didn't answer. We are on donot call list so they hang up by the second or third ring. Snarky way to get around the do not call.

some jerk yelled at me for not wanting to call my representative when i told him this was an office number and to take me off his calling list.

Very frustrating and rude to keep calling and not leave messages. I pay to have my number unlisted and I'm on all of the Do Not Call lists, but jerks like this still get my number and call!

They said they wanted me to send a message to my senator about fair legislation for illegal immigrants and not deport them. She got pretty upset when I said they should be deported and then have to apply to come into the country illegally.
