How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

I get a call once a week (sometimes twice) but don't have caller ID so I didn't know the number calling. Must
be the same one. Once I pressed one to speak to someone and asked them what company they were calling from. He hung up. Have repeated pressed 2 to stop the calls and "eliminate my number" but that hasn't stopped. Also get calls like this telling me my automobile warranty has expired.
Yup, the canned "This is your second and final notice to reduce your credit card interest...". Third time this week.

Since these low life scum are wasting my time, I think it's only fair to waste theirs. Pretened to be really interested due to your crushing debt load, then put them on hold until they hang up. Doesn't help much, but it feels good to know that they may have hung on the line long enough to reduce the number of calls they can make in a day
I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize on my line as it is a home business line. No message was left on my voicemail and searching the number brought me here....first email spam, now phone spam...where will it end?
Call the number back and an automated system says "to remove your number from our database, press 1". It probably doesn't work but I did it anyway. I'll update here if they continue to call (they've been calling at least once a day, maybe more).

Got a call from them - I didn't answer, googled the number, brought me to this page. I hate solicitors.
This is an automated credit card marketing scam. I finally got fed up and pressed 1 to talk with an agent. When I asked which company they are with they hung up right away.
A recorded message: a pathetic attempt to threaten me into into getting their credit card or something. "This is your second and final notice to reduce your credit card interest...".
Just got a call from these guys. Beware, do not answer. I don't even answer long distance calls anymore, as it is always a solicitor.
Received 3 calls in 1 day from this number, caller id appears as 9095029111. Calls every work day at least once.
What a god damned nuisance.
