How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

They're on a roll now: 3 calls this morning.
Two calls in under an hour today. C'mon assholes, you can do better than that. Let's go for 5 or 6 shall we?

It's my favourite persistent shitbrains back again. Four calls in under an hour so far today.
These nincompoops called 12 times today, a new record. Maybe their auto-dialer is on the fritz?
And they're back! Called three times in 40 minutes. Apparently they are a Bell Canada reseller trying to push satellite services and crap.
They are back, calling me repeatedly each day, 3-4 times a day. They just called twice in two minutes.
I live in Toronto. Last time they called on June 23rd.....after many, many calls, they identified as Bell Canada. Finally, I told them to F..K Off! Not nice; not polite, but effective. They have not called back and have probably put me down as "Foul-mouthed woman".
Keeps calling 3 - 4 times a day. I'm not picking up the phone anymore.
Some company claiming to be working with Bell Canada. Caller ID name is Bell Canada. If they don't know the first name they are calling for when asked, then I always say... 'not interested and good-bye'.
Called two days in a row. On second day I answered it and was thanked for taking the call. She said who she was and I did not understand her so I asked again. When I still did not understand her, I told her I was not interested and take me off her calling list. I am calling Bell Canada to see if this is legit.

They've called three times so far today, inside of 2 hours. They get a disconnect tone and "this number does not exist" message because of my VoIP box, so they are incredibly stupid to keep ringing it.
called and asked to speak to the name we have in the phone book. Said they were calling on behalf of Bell and they could speak to someone authorized on the Bell account but they didn't know who that would be - so they asked me who else was authorized - I said they should have that info if they want to speak to them. I also asked why Bell had shared our information with them and she said they were "under contract" with Bell. I said that I didn't have any information about that. She said she would call back and please tell "Mr. xxx" the name in the phone book to have a Bell bill handy for her call so that they could discuss it but did not specify what she was calling for. No mention of an offer or sale. It was as though she was fishing for information.
No name with display of tel no. Said they were Bell but did not use any first names when asking to speak with someone ... just asked for Mr or Mrs ...
so does this mean that Bell doesn't use a name with their display number?
We didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.
