How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).

FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:

I got a message to call 888-872-0035 ext.316, caller ID showed it coming from: 646-389-2973, and reverse lookup showed nothing found.
Received a call regarding a "collection". They started asking for personal information. The person I spoke to sounded like the person on my voice mail. The person I spoke to said the person I was looking for just left the office. I told them if they wanted to speak to me they could call me back. I am filing a notice with the three major credit bureaus to protect myself.

888-872-0035 (ext 316) called 3-29-2010 and asked for specific person. (left message) call back and they cane see your phone number on there phone. so they know the phone number thats calling. (this should be illegal)
i geet someone who ask fro the specific person, i say i may be that person (you Never Let them Know Who They Are Talking To) then she again aske me if i am that specific person and i give same answer. ask if she could advise me of the reason of call i could maube give her specific answer. again she goes through the BS. so i said that i will contact the FCC, she says Go Ahead Were Protected. i ask from what are you protected she hangs up. there maybe Hard Times But I Don't Give Out ANY INFORMATION TO ANYONE ...... NOW SHOULD YOU

the guy was a mr. phillips was caling for citi-bank, he was a total ass-hole.He never let me talk and was trying to talk over me the whole time. i owe the money but they put all kinda of false fees and interest rates to it
