How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.

Don't waste your time with the 'Do Not Call List', it is a bogus sham.
Just so the government can be seen as 'proactive' in controlling
phone scammers when the public demands. It is bullshit, the government
isn't interested in such things.
toll free call is the caller id
This number called twice in two days. Each time I have answered and heard only silence. This lasted a few seconds then I hung up. This happens 2 to 4 times a week and has gone on for about 3 months now. I registered a complaint on Do Not Call website but it does NO good.
Called the number back and it is Collection Bureau of America, looking for someone named Amber Burney. This "Amber" (if she is a real person) also has six other collection agencies looking for her.
Yet another collection agency looking for someone I have no clue who it is. These people don't understand you have the wrong number.

Called twice on 3-6 with a recordend message for some name I couldn't understand. Called 3-7 with the same message. Today, 3-9, it called and a person by the name of "Chin" asked for me by name and claimed to be calling about a couple of passed due bills from a company called "Northern Emergency Positions" I know I don't have any outstanding bills and have never heard of that company (I check online and as far as I can tell it doesn't exist). I told him to stop calling as a I know this is a scam. He then said "you know this will effect your credit." Then he hung up immediately after I said that I would be receiving letters in the mail if this was legitimate.
Seemed to be a collection agency for a person/name unknown to me - one of two (AACC also) companies looking for this person. Automated message with a plug in name asking for that person to call 888-454-5310.
unknown name - had msg of missed call twice. Have no debts outstanding - am not returning calls.
