This is a telemarketing call to anyone with a timeshare asking for a call back at a number of different extentions. They operate out of Florida. Never did actual business with them but inquired about a possible sale of my timeshare last year. I guess they are going back to their old prospect lists... Watch out, because they want their money first, then maybe you may get lucky and get your timeshare sold through them...or not. I never really understood what they were going to do for me that I couldn't do myself. Also, if they manage to sell it, I don't think that closing costs are included in the deal...that's gonna be lots more extra! Price is around $400 to $600 up front. Here are their stats:

Timeshare place wanting to know if they can purchase it.

Got a voicemail from a woman called Lesley Cody (or however it's spelt) calling about "our timeshare". No company name, no reference numbers, just a request to callback to 1-888-226-1055 x241. Skyped this number back and went straight through to an operator who announced the call as "Vacation Register". Judging by this page: complaintsboard.com I'm guessing they should be avoided at all costs.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
