This people have been calling my job all morning and on the caller ID it states Unavailable (8777335734) . I finally answer and this lady with some heavy accent pronounced my last name incorrectly. At first it sounds like the call is all broken, but it seems like it was meant to be that way so you end up giving them your correct last name. I am not stupid, so I simply didn't. I told them I would call back the number on my Card and she still insisted to give me her number. Don't call this number Bank of America does not recognize this number.
It is just a BUNCH OF LOW LIVES WHO ARE STILL THINKING THAT THEY ARE SMATTER THAN US… GET UP AND GET A JOB YOU BUNCH OF MORONS!!!!!

I received a call from this no. today at 8:04 A.M. The caller said her name is Lori Clifton and she is from SIA Card Services.

She pronounced my last name incorrectly to begin with as Bow-cher and it is pronounced as Boo shay...sorry, but that always irritates me.

I do have my no. on the Do Not Call Registry (but that never seems to work anyway), and I have No Intention of returning this call. I have had my credit card for over 19 yrs., and do not have any problems concerning it...I pay my cc bill and have been for over 19 yrs., so I'm not concerned as my credit is just fine.

The FCC is going to get information from me about this call and this Lori Clifton (if that's really her name) just as soon as I'm through writing this comment.

I AM JUST SICK AND TIRED OF THE INVASION OF MY PRIVACY! SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE (AND SOON) ABOUT THESE DISGUSTING PEOPLE AND THEIR CALLS. MY PHONE NO. 'IS NOT' OPEN TO JUST ANYONE. THAT'S WHERE THE INTERNET IS SOOOOOO WRONG!

Confusing reports here ..... If the caller is found to be a third party collector and claiming to be BoA, the first party, Federal law (FDCPA) applies and you might work up a misrepresentation charge. Learn how to exercise your rights as an alleged debtor at FTC-dot gov.

After verifying my last name the lady asked for further detailed information about me in order to discuss " an issue to be resolved". I stated that I would furnish no additional information an requested a call back number. She would not give any informationabout the "issue" untill I called back and provided further detailed information to verify who I was. I am on the do not call list. The call back number was 877-733-5734.

They are a collections group that operates on a percentage. Do your business directly with B of A, these guys just want a cut and are selling their services to BofA as a collector.

"Cr ystal Hicks from SIA" called looking for Jay B*****. Since we have father and son working here, I asked her which one she meant. She said she could not tell me since it was "personal business." Sorry, but I don't pass along vague messages, especially if you can't tell me exactly who should be receiving it.

A woman identified herself as Fallon from B of A. She asked for my daughter first name only) and when I told her she wasn't in, she said to have her call her. I asked if she could leave a message and she said: "It is a personal business, just tell her I called, she will know." Later, I called that number by mistake and it was an automated voice with a phoney message and I hung up; I am sorry I did that because it is a toll free number and now they will call again!

I got a call from this number at my home phone, which is - on purpose - not associated with ANY of my credit cards. When I call back, a recording asks for an account number, but does not identify the company. I do have a BofA card, but it is paid in full, AND THERE IS NO WAY FOR THEM TO HAVE MY HOME PHONE NUMBER. Stuff like this is why I quit taking voice messages on my cell phone.

I paid off a card which is closed and on 3/17 confirmed via their call-in automated teller that my balance was $0.00 then on 4/22 they called and left a message to call. Now they say I owe a last finance charge of $19.00. It's never enough for them. They're probably mad that I paid it off earlier than my payment plan called for.

March 13th, 2009 Sarah -2 CA

This number is no good- I called my bank directly and they told me that they had no reason to call me and that there was no problem with my account. If you get these calls, call YOUR BOA directly (customer service number on back of debit card)and they will tell you if any problems. My bank told me that if anyone called me NEVER to give out any info and to ASK what DEPARTEMT are they from and ask for a full NAME (then call your bank with this info)!

February 28th, 2008 Sarah NJ

This is BofA, and you probably owe them money. Although sometimes they call for other reasons. But if they say they have good news they are either reaging you (Bringing your account UTD for you) or they have a reduced payment program for you to lower your payments and interest if you are having trouble making your payments. The worst thing you can do is ignore them...it will only ruin your credit.

"This is Courtney" "Sorry I missed you but I have great news about your 2006 business that could help you out." "This is not a cell phone so please call 877-733-5734."
My business needs no help. And why would I be concerned about a successful business over a year ago.

Called my work and only said they were with bank card services but didn't say the name of the bank. Wrote them a letter and told them to stop harrassing me at my work!

first said bank of america, next time Hill's Pet Nutrition account? Called about a payment I had already made - Nancy left a message saying "Good News about your account!" Will not let me leave complaint with supervisor!

June 14th, 2007 JPG WI

The answering machine said Lori called. When I tried calling back, I received a greeting saying that John and Corey were unavailable.

I do have a card with Bank of America though, so something could have been goofed up.

This is Bank Of America, I owe and they call alot!

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker or something like Nomorobo.
