In answer to some of the earlier Q'ns; (a) yes, there is a law in Canada against the making of repetitive, unjustified harassing telephone calls; s. 272(3) of the Crminial Code of Canada; (b) as to "Lady K" and he defence of iQuor, wrong; they are rude first, foremost and always, and not interested in what you have to say; the company pretends to have a code of ethics, which seems routinely ignored by their (largely outsourced South Asian) staff; and they also pretend (US website - iquor.com) to have both a complaint advocacy subsite, and an ombudsperson. Try to get an email through to either of those; good luck; (c) keep a list of calls, - date & time, and every now and then *69 the call, to make sure it's from the same number, and note that; then visit your local cop shop and make a complaint - oh, and when they tell you they can't help because it's a "civil matter", quote that section of the Criminal Code back at them. (d) you can, thru your telephone provider, block that call - at your expense - $2.50/month with Telus for eg. Anyone up (with open wallets for a lawyer's trust deposit) for a class action lawsuit against these jerks?

THEY CALLED BUT 6 DAYS LATER ITS STARTS ALL OVER HAD TO CHANGE TO A PAY AS YOU GO PHONE AND CANCEL LAND LINE

I keep getting calls from this number on my cel phone, the last time they asked for Maria, I don't normally answer, but they have even called after 10 pm. is there somewher I can make an official complaint.

This is iqor it's a collection agency they are calling from a call center in quebec i believe they use to call for my girlfriend about 5 times a day finally i got tired of it and told them she was dead BAN no more phone calls so you know give it a shot worked for me

just to educate all of you in regards to calling times.....Bill collectors are within LEGAL rights to contact numbers Provided by our CLIENTS (ex: rogers wireless, CIBC VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, HYDRO, or anything ELSE that you may have sitting in a collection agency between the hours of 7am-9pm Monday to Friday, weekends as well. The best way to get your name of a DIALER list, is to be NICE TO THE COLLECTOR...DONT BE RUDE AND IGNORANT...we hate that!!!
and FYI, SOME TIMES if you've just recently gotten a new cell number, chances are its been recycled and used before you had it, so you may be getting calls for someone else. Sorry for the Inconvenience...Imagine how we feel....People HATE US BILL COLLECTORS!

this is IQOR canada, AND they are on an AUTOMATED DIALER......they can call everyday PROVIDING they DONT leave ANY MORE then 3 MESSAGES in a 7 day Period...IF they are you can complain to the Ministry

They keep calling at 7:10 am telling me thats when they start.When I asked to be remove they hang up. I call back say the same thing, hang up. Called back again and asked for a supervisior first time hung up, second time transferred me to a voice mail. How convenient, so Ill say it again take me off this list. The states have laws of what time a creditor can start calling, why the hell doesnt canada!!!!

7:30 in the morning and there is no answer on the phone, wtf...

this number has called me 4 times a day for the last 3 weeks. there is nothing on the other end when i pick up. i called them and they said that they had a different name for my number. when asked to remove from list they said they would but the calls continued. the calls come between 7:30am and 6pm.

These people need to leave messages for the person they are calling for otherwise we right them off as spam.

these fucks call 7 - 10 times every day starting at 7 am I talked to this guy and demanded his bosses name but before I could get his number he said that I cant demand things guess what I can when you call me that many times a day Im going to get pissed and demand answers. if your a collection company and are trying to get money this is not the way to approach it. so fuck off and stop calling me. I will be more rude and volger every time you call.

They've been calling 5+ x a day 7 days/wk. No one on the other end when I pick up. First thing this a.m. they called and actually some lady was on the other end. looking for my ex husband. I went sideways on her, she hung up on me. I called back the number from my office phone, got the same lady. She said she would remove my number - ya right. I told her next time I'm calling a lawyer. I was not very pleasant with her either.

I have received up to 10 calls a day from this number, but no one answers when I do pick up. I am on DNCL list but apparently, this number snuck through. I have finally put this number on call block. These calls are relentless and harassing; calling all hours of the day and night.

6 calls received today. No messages left. Whodo I report this to??

these people call day and night regardless if you answer or not. there must be a law regarding such harassment. i guess call screen is an option, but of course at my expense.

These people are over the top - they have called and identified themselves as IQOR - I asked them to be removed from the list and I was told that they are not soliciting anything so they don't have to follow the CRTC regulations. They have called asking for Stephanie and I told them there was no Stephanie here - the next call was for Steven and the 4 - 5th time some other name. I was told tonight that they would remove me, I have done a reverse 411 and there is no listing. Filed a complaint with the Do Not Call List, hopefully they quit calling. Everyone should register with the Do not CallList and file a formal complaint if these people phone you again.

these people answered when i called them, speaking veeery bad english, like an east indian accent, asking for someone whom i've never heard of. they've asked for a man and a woman, both of whom are unknown to me!!! i called back and told them to take my number off their list or i would charge them with harassment. last time i did that was jan.23, now they called on feb 3rd. 10 days later. what is wrong with this company??? i asked the guy if he ever thought that someone else previous had this number and don't anymore??? he said it was done (my number off the list) and hung up. we'll see...

Three calls this morning: 7:15 am; 8:30 am; 10:00 am. Only the 10:00 am call answered. Caller identified herself as calling from Icor. Would not provide any further information unless I provided my address and birth year. I refused and hung up. Call display shows "unknown name".
